Abstract

Utilization of information technology and computer network as data communication media has been increased. The requirement for shared use of existing resources in the network both software and hardware has resulted in the development of various technologies of the network itself. Information technology and communications are widely used today using computer network system as a medium of information and data transformation, the greater the company or agency that uses the network computer the more complex the network system in the company or agency, and required a good handling for the system can run optimally. One of them that uses computer network system is Banyan Tree Bintan. Network monitoring activities in Banyan Tree Bintan are important to do by network administrator to ensure the network is always in good condition. Given the limitations of network administrators who can not always be in the workplace, it is necessary for a system that can monitor the computer network remotely. So that the network administrator can know the state of the computer network at any time and can perform actions that need to be done quickly.This application is based on android using an Internet connection for network administrators can monitor network anytime and anywhere. Desktop-based applications need to be installed on the computer so that computer system data can be retrieved and displayed on android devices.

Abstract

PT. Schneider Electric is leading the Digital Transformation of Energy Management and Automation in Homes, Buildings, Data Centers, Infrastructure and Industries. PT. Schneider is one of the companies that applies the technology applied to the work process, one of the Debug Manager systems, which is a system used to reject items in the line area, but it still has weakness in inputting product data when it read by users with a small text its make debug manager or LI (Line Inspector) often entered the wrong data, and there is no procedure that allows the debugging process of items that refuse to do research on the existing system. The research conducted at PT. Schneider Electric Manufacturing Batam was conducted to repair the Debug Manager system in PT. Schneider, this research was conducted with the waterfall method starting with conducting interviews with the operator or LI (Line Inspector) Debug Manager then proceeding with the application design (Design) which is then implemented, verified until maintenance is carried out. Reject Management Application based on android, which is an application that scans QR code on labels, and text that uses products on a smartphone or tablet and can also give debugging technicians notification. The debugging process can be done well.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with high rate of natural disaster, so any information about early warning of natural disaster are very important. Social media such as Twitter become one of tools for spreading information about natural disaster warning from account of  Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), therefore, the effectiveness of this kind of method for providing information have not known yet. The statement becomes the reason that the visualization is needed to analyze the information spread of natural disaster early warning with Twitter. This study is performed in 3 steps, which is retrieving, preprocessing then visualization. Retrieving process is used to get the tweet data of BMKG account in twitter then save into database, while preprocessing is done to process tweet data that has been saved in database by grouping the data according to the category, which includes Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics according to existing keyword, also reduce tweet data that is unimportant like BMKG's reply tweet toward other user's question. Visualization stage uses the result of preprocessing data into line chart graphic, bar chart and pie chart. Highest information spreading from BMKG tweet happened in Geophysics at March with 25987 re-tweets, while the highest peak happened at 2 March 2016 with information about 8.3 SR earthquake in Mentawai islands, West Sumatera with total of 6145 re-tweets.
