Abstract

As Muslims, we should know what jokes are to stay in the corridor of goodness and not deviate from the path of evil. This research aims to discuss a problem that is rife in social media today, namely pranks. The research methodology used is a qualitative type through library research. The result and discussion of this research are the prank phenomenon mushroomed in society is one of several things that was prohibited by the Prophet Muhammad. But aside from that, some pranks or jokes are allowed. That is, they don't go overboard. So, among the limitations are that it does not contain lies, does not exaggerate, still includes things of goodness, and does not criticize.

Abstract

This study was aimed at analyzing the concept of social Sufism of Amin Syukur. This study used a qualitative approach by placing the researcher as the key instrument, and was combined with a biographical study of thoughts. Literature study was chosen as a data collection technique by exploring various relevant sources. The finding revealed that in the concept of social Sufism ofAmin Syukur, becoming a Sufi did not have to be part of a particular tarekat school. In addition, the paradigm promoted in social Sufism was that Sufism was not a passive and individualist teaching. This paradigm was motivated by Amin Syukur's thought that humans were social beings having roles and functions in social life. At this level a Sufi was placed as an agent of change and social control. Therefore, in Amin Syukur's view, Sufism was not only related to ritualit, which gave birth to individual piety, but also had implications for participation in social, cultural, and political life, which gave birth to social piety. Thus, it was concluded that social Sufism was a moderate concept emphasizing the balance between individual and  social pious. The concept of social Sufism allowed humans to become Sufis without having to join a particular tarekat group first.Keywords: Social Sufism; Amin Syukur; Individual Pious; Social Pious

Abstract

Benefit as the core of maqâshid al-syariah has an important role in the development of Islamic law. Because Islamic law was revealed with the aim of presenting the benefit of humans, both in this world and in the hereafter. One of the benefits that are protected is the protection of lineage. Nasab is human nature, because humans have the instinct to regenerate. On the other hand, humans have the nature of obedience to God. So that the two natures accumulate in lineage protection. Lineage protection is concerned with quantity on the one hand, and quality on the other. The exact point proportions of the two are seen from the bounded realm of reality. Lineage protection is not only about regeneration, but also includes all intermediaries (wasilah) that support it, both in terms of quantity and quality. The purpose of this study is to find out what things can damage the lineage, such as adultery, incest marriage, prostitution and so on.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the hadith regarding the virtues of prostration in prayer through the application of takhrij and syarah hadith studies. This research method uses a qualitative approach through literature study with contemporary analysis. The results of this study found that the hadith about the virtue of prostration in prayer is authentic in terms of sanad and matan. The discussion of this study states that the benefits of prostration in prayer are that Al-Qodhi said: the words bowing and prostration are used as a designation for prayer because the position of other prayer movements is the same as the usual movement, namely standing and sitting. The standing position is the first order to humble oneself to Allah Ta'ala, and the middle order is bowing and the peak is prostration. All of them show the peak of humility and self-servitude to Allah. This is in line with the purpose of establishing prayer, which is to humble oneself before Allah and glorify Him. The conclusion of this study is that the prostration movement in prayer has the meaning of submission, besides that the attitude of prostration is also good for physical and spiritual health and improves the quality of our worship to Allah.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the hadith about the nature of hypocrisy. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying the descriptive-analytical method. The formal object of this research is the science of hadith, while the material object is the hadith about hypocrisy in the history of Bukhari no. 5630. The results and discussion of this study indicate that the status of the hadith is authentic with the qualifications of maqbul ma'mul bih for the practice of Islam to avoid and combat hypocrisy. This study concludes that the hadith narrated by Bukhari no. 5630 is relevant to be used as introspection in maintaining the heart in order to avoid hypocritical traits that endanger personal life and social life.
