Abstract

Banyak jalan menuju Roma. Unkapan ini bisa juga kita gunakan dalam mendapatkan kebenaran. Banyak jaln menuju kebenaran (the Ultimate/Infinitife).

Abstract

This article seeks to explain about the spiritual model as an effort that is passed and taken by humans in understanding and achieving Something Absolute, namely God. The method used is reflective analysis, which describes deeply and comprehensively the potential inherent in human beings that is used in understanding the existence of self and God. Human definitions are very diverse, including: socio-political beings, thinking beings, sentient beings, even godly beings. All of these definitions reinforce that humans are creatures. While the object sought by humans is something that is outside and inside him. In its search, humans exploit the potential of knowledge inherent in themselves, starting from the simplest with empirical experience, then rationalist knowledge, to religious-spiritualist knowledge. With the perfection of potential and knowledge achieved, human beings are placed in two functions that must not be broken, namely to strengthen their pertical and horizontal relationships. This pertikal relationship is a form of exclusivity with his Lord, while his horizontal form is sincere dedication because he is with his fellow humans and his nature.

Abstract

Literature is created by the urge that comes inside to reveal things. A writer can be referred to as a philosopher and psychiatrist who is able to express various problems not academically but through literary works. A wide variety of literary works continue to develop in Indonesia. But there are also literary works that are less known by today's society such as dangding which is one of sundanese literary works. The object of this research is the dangding of Magatru Batur- Batur Nu Suluk by Haji Hasan Mustapa. This study aims to analyze the literary work in the context of Sufism. This research model is qualitative with a type of library research. The research method used is content analysis. The results of this study show that Haji Hasan Mustapa is a salik with a pattern of Sufism falsafi teachings that expresses his spiritual experience through a literary work. In his work, he mentions that suluk is a method to draw closer to God through the guidance of a teacher, armed with knowledge, and not to leave the life of the world. In this paper also mentioned some advice for salik to always practice berfakur, know the purpose, noble character, and wisely respond to the worldliness. This study concluded that dangding Magatru Batur-Batur Nu Suluk is a sundanese literary work of high value, has a very deep sufistic meaning, and remains relevant to be read as spiritual advice in living modern life today. The author recommends that a broader study of Sufism and other aspects of the literary work be conducted.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the comparison of political philosophy thoughts, especially regarding the caliphate of two Muslim intellectual figures from Egypt who lived in the same period. Ali Abdul Raziq and Rashid Rida, these two figures talked about the formulation of the ideal state form for Muslims and the implementation of Islamic government. The author writes down the arguments of the two figures and then compares them with the formulations of the two. Khilafah which is a system of government that follows the leadership of the Prophet Muhammad, sharia as the legal basis and Islam as an ideology in running the government. This type of research is library research by applying the comparative method, which prioritizes library materials as the main source. The results of the research from the two Muslim intellectual works from Ali Abdul Raziq's book entitled al-Islam wa Usul al-Hukm and the book Al-Khilafah wa Al-Imamah written by Rashid Rido, show that there are very basic differences in the thoughts of the two figures, where Rashid Rida firmly held the position that followers of Islam are required to uphold the caliphate in their country based on sharia and ijma. On the other hand, Ali Abdul Raziq argues that there is no binding obligation for Muslims to establish a caliphate in their country, he argues that Muslims are free to choose what ideology will be applied in a country. Because in the Qur'an and as-Sunnah do not regulate the form of state that Muslims must apply. The thought of Islamic political philosophy, of course, does not only come from these two figures, many Muslim intellectuals argue that this matter needs to be explored for the benefit of Muslims in terms of the state.
