Abstract

ABSTRAKPermasalahan dalam penelitia ini adalah: 1) Bagaimana kebutuhan siswa dan guru terhadap bahan ajar menulis teks laporan hasil observasi dengan pendekatan kontekstual berbasis lingkungan pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Kabupaten Semarang? 2) Bagaimana prototipe bahan ajar menulis teks laporan hasil observasi dengan pendekatan kontekstual berbasis lingkungan pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Kabupaten Semarang? Tujuan Penelitian ini 1) Mendeskripsikan kebutuhan siswa dan guru terhadap bahan ajar menulis teks laporan hasil observasi dengan pendekatan kontekstual berbasis lingkungan pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Kabupaten Semarang. 2) Menyajikan prototipe bahan ajar menulis teks laporan hasil observasi dengan pendekatan kontekstual berbasis lingkungan pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Kabupaten Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau disebut dengan Research and Develeopment oleh Borg dan Gall. Hasil validasi bahan ajar yang didapat dari uji ahli adalah 94,2 % dengan kategori sangat baik atau sangat layak diuji cobakan. Hasil penilaian penggunaan bahan ajar oleh guru adalah 87,5% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dari hasil siswa dalam menulis teks laporan hasil observasi terdapat 59 siswa yang sudah memenuhi KKM 65 atau dengan persentase 98,3% kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian bahan ajar ini sangat layak digunakan.  Kata Kunci : Bahan Ajar, Menulis Teks laporan Hasil Observasi, Pendekatan Kontekstual Berbasis Lingkungan ABSTRACTThe problems in this research are: 1) What are the needs of students and teachers for teaching materials to write the text of the observation report using an environment-based contextual approach to grade VII students in Semarang Regency Junior High School? 2) How is the prototype of teaching material writing the report text of observations using an environment-based contextual approach to grade VII students of Semarang Regency Middle School? The Purpose of this Study 1) Describe the needs of students and teachers for teaching material writing report text on observations using an environmentally-based contextual approach to grade VII students in Semarang Regency Junior High School. 2) Presenting a prototype of teaching material writing report text on observations using an environmentally based contextual approach to grade VII students of Semarang Regency Junior High School. This research uses research and development methods or called Research and Development by Borg and Gall. The results of the validation of teaching materials obtained from expert tests were 94.2% with a very good category or very worthy of trial. The results of the assessment of the use of teaching materials by teachers is 87.5% with a very good category. From the results of students in writing the text of the observation report there were 59 students who had met the KKM 65 or with a percentage of 98.3% very good category. Abstract

Students struggle to learn to use phrasal verbs in written English. Books, writings, and social media quotes can all be used as sources. Phrasal verbs are the most common verbs in the English language. However, students must also understand the form of the phrasal verb in order to avoid making errors when writing. This study aimed to analyze the phrasal verbs in the students' written narrative texts in eleventh grade SMAN 1 Pati was used to search for the types of phrasal verbs, the errors in phrasal verbs, and solutions and suggestions from the teachers of English for students. The methods involved ranged from qualitative descriptive to document analysis. The data comes from classes XI MIPA 6, XI MIP SA7, XI IPS 1, and XI IPS 2 collecting narrative texts in pdf using a phrasal verb. The findings of this research revealed that the students' written narrative texts found types of phrasal verbs such as transitive separable, transitive non-separable, and intransitive. Then, errors in phrasal verbs include omission, addition, misformation, and misordering. The solutions and advice from the English teacher are that students should do more reading, writing, listening, and paying attention to the video lessons, memorizing the meaning and applying it in a sentence.
