Abstract

Al-Quran revealed by Lord to the Prophet Muhammad Saw. does’nt only function as a guide (hudan), but it’s a manifestation of the instructions themselves. Al-Quran is the apperance of divine words. Some of the contents of the revelation text contain stories of God’s prophetic bearers; one of them is the story of Adam’s creation which was made by God as khalifa on His earth in the form of Lord’s dialogue with His Angel. In addition, in the creation of humans, it is also intended to serve or worship the Creator. While on the other hand,–in the context of education– the purpose of education is fundamentally oriented towards the formation of religious spiritual (personal religious) as human beings who are religious and godly.

Abstract

The relation between religion and science seems to be the dichotomous view. Both of them are like oil and water, two entities that cannot be reunited and separated. Due to “this dispute”, science often misses their ethics, so science and modern technology have actually humanized humans and distanced them from their nature. The conflict between them forces many intellectual Muslims to make “epystemology briidge” for reconciling science and religion. This paper aims to analyze the tendency of dichotomy that occurs in Islamic scholarship. The Dichotomy is reflected in education with the “demarcative” separation between general (scientific) education and religious education. Therefore, one of the efforts to develop Islamic scholarly is to minimized dichotomy problem is called scientific integration-interconnection in Islamic education. Hubungan antara agama dan ilmu pengetahuan tampaknya menjadi pandangan dikotomis. Keduanya ibarat minyak dan air, dua entitas yang tidak bisa bersatu kembali dan dipisahkan. Dikarenakan “sengketa” ini ilmu pengetahuan mencoba merangkul konsep-konsep agama dan etika supaya ilmu pengetahuan-teknologi memiliki nuansa yang manusiawi. Konflik antara keduanya memaksa kaum Muslim intelektual membuat “jembatan epistemologi” untuk mendamaikan antara sains dan agama. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tentang kecenderungan dikotomi yang terjadi pada keilmuan Islam. Dikotomi tersebut tercermin dalam pendidikan dengan adanya pemisahan secara “demarkatis” antara pendidikan umum dan pendidikan agama. Oleh karena itu, salah satu upaya untuk mengembangkan keilmuan Islam dalam meminimalisasi problem dikotomik tersebut adalah apa yang disebut integrasi-interkoneksi keilmuan dalam pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Banyak faktor yang mempenyaruhi kualitas Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) di Ponorogo, akan tetapi kemudian banyak orang yang beranggapan bahwa kesemuanya adalah kurangnya profesionalisme guru. Demikian juga guru yang kurang profesional banyak juga faktor yang mempengaruhinya, sehinggabagaimana kompetensi Pengawas PAI dan bagaimana pula efektivitas kepemimpinan kepala Madrasah, turut mempengaruhi. Guru yang berada dibawah kepengawasan yang memiliki kompetensi yang baik dan juga berada di Madrasah yang memiliki kepemimpinan yang efektif, maka diharapkan menjadi guru yang profesional. Dengan profesionalismenya guru tersebut maka sebuah Madrasah akan berkualitas. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial variabel-variabel bebas (kompetensi Pengawas PAI dan efektivitas kepemimpinan kepala madrasah) terhadap variabel terikat(profesionalisme guru) MTs di Kabupaten Ponorogo, dengan analisis Fenomenologi.

Abstract

Soebardi in The Place of Islam states that: (a) institutions boarding schools are the institutions most decisive Islamic character of Islamic kingdoms and the most important role for the spread of Islam to the outposts; (B) of the institutions of boarding that origins a number of manuscripts concerning the teaching of Islam in Southeast Asia, (c) and to be able to truly understand the history of Islamization in the region, we should begin to study these boarding institutions, because tutions is the primary agency arrows spread of Islam in the region. Pesantren education today can be classified into three types. First, the boarding school education and teaching how to use the method sorogan or dam, which is a teaching Kyai of santri based on the classic books written in Arabic, by scholars' medieval translation system. Generall, boarding school is "stiril" of general science. People usually call it by name salaf pesantren. Second, in addition to maintaining the boarding school and teaching systems, as mentioned above, also includes public education. Third, schools as the education system and teaching models integrates into schools with one the soul, and the value of other attributes, and teaching wear classical system coupled with strict discipline with full dormitories or students are required to reside in the hostel. The specific objective education pesantren is to prepare the students to become people 'alim in the science of religion taught by clerics concerned and put it into practice in the community. While the general purpose schools is to guide students into human personality capable of Islam with religious knowledge became muballig in the surrounding communities through science and charity.
