Abstract

Abstrak - Meningkatnya jumlah hotel mengakitbatkan peningkatan persaingan antar hotel di Surabaya. Kinerja SDM merupakan salah satu komponen yang sangat penting untuk mempertahankan eksistensi sebuah hotel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening MaxOne Hotel Dharmahusada, Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling survey terhadap 50 karyawan MaxOne Hotel Dharmahusada. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa self-efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Apabila melewati variabel mediasi kepuasan kerja, hasil analisa data juga positif dan signifikan. Namun jika variabel self-efficacy berhubungan langsung dengan kinerja karyawan, hasil yang didapatkan lebih berpengaruh daripada melewati variabel mediasi kepuasan kerja.Kata Kunci: Self-efficacy, Kepuasan Kerja dan Kinerja Karyawan.Abstract - The increasing number of hotels increased the competition among hotels in Surabaya. HR performance is a very important component to maintain the existence of a hotel. This study aimed to determine the effect of self-efficacy on employee performance with job satisfaction as intervening variable at Hotel MaxOne Dharmahusada, Surabaya. This research uses purposive sampling method to 50 employees of MaxOne Hotel Dharmahusada. The results show that self-efficacy is positive and significant to employee performance. When using job satisfaction as a mediation variable, data analysis result is also positive and significant. But if the self-efficacy variable is directly related to employee performance, the results are more effective than using the job satisfaction as a mediation variable.Keywords: Self-efficacy, Job Satisfaction and Job Performance.
