Abstract

The purpose of this study is to measure the bullwhip effect in supply chain MAS 240 ml in PT. Sembilan Pilar Utama and Swalayan Koya. This research measure method is using bullwhip effect method that presented by Fransoo and Wouters (2000). The results of research, we know that the bullwhip effect happened because of the coefficient of variation orders higher than the coefficient of variation in product demand, inaccurate demand prediction, and order batching. The solution that may be effective to reduce the bullwhip effect that occurs is more concerned with the pattern of order and the product demand.Keywords: supply chain management, bullwhip effect.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the Economic order quantity level of raw material wheat flour for Surya Bakery and the quantity level of Re-order Point. The design of study was descriptive qualitative. The study used secondary data in order to gain the information about purchasing of raw material of flour. The data analyzed by quantitative method which used Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method and Re-order Point. The result shows that EOQ in Usaha Roti Surya Bakery is 4.266 kg with frequency of ordering raw material is 22 times. Wher eas re-order point of the raw material when inventory reach 1.068 kg with lead time are 4 days. Before using EOQ method, the frequency of ordering raw material of flour is 36 times per year. After using EOQ method, it is found the frequency of ordering raw material of flour is 22 times per year. So that, after using EOQ method, the result of ordering cost was Rp. 2.668.00,- carrying cost was Rp. 2.615.000,-, and total cost of raw material was Rp. 5.283.000,-. Therefore, the Surya-Bakery could save money for Rp 533.000 per year.

Abstract

The study aimed to assess whether the psychological empowerment and the emotional intelligence influenced the protean career attitudes. It, then, researched the clerical employees who worked at ‘Bank Mandiri’ in the area of Bengkulu with some criteria : teller, customer service, general affair and micro loan. Data were collected using a survey questionnaire which was distributed through a link: https://forms.gle/k8DgqoKEUnaNFchq7. One hundred and eighty nine   surveys were gathered and the data were analysed employing a multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the psychological empowerment and the emotional intelligence variables together influenced positively and significantly the career attitudes. It means that the higher the psychological empowerment and the emotional intelligence, the more positive the protean career attitudes are. Individually, the psychological empowerment had a positive and significant effect on the protean career attitudes; and the emotional intelligence had also a positive and significant effect on the protean career attitudes. The result reflected that empowering employees in running the bank would shape the employees’ emotional intelligence and then gave the positive attitude to the employees for their career progression. The employees felt that they contributed to the success of the bank trough their work so they would improve their skills and build a positive emotion to make their own decisions. The protean employee is involved in benefiting others. They tend towards learning and development and have the adaptability to accept change that helps them achieve organizational goals. This protean career attitude generates benefits for employees and Bank Mandiri in Bengkulu Area
