Abstract

The purposes of this study examines the effect of personality and intellectual ability on teacher competence in SMKN 3 Bengkulu city. This research was conducted in SMKN 3 Bengkulu City with the object of research is permanent teachers or civil servants. The sample used in this study was 74 respondents using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis technique using multiple regression analysis and using SPSS 17.0 sofware. Research design using survey explanatory, the method in this study using factor analysis to test the validity of the data and using Cronbach's alpha to test the reliability of the data. The results of this research shows that the personality and intellectual ability partially have positive and signifikan effect on the teacher competence. Personality and intellectual ability simultaneously have significant effect on the teacher competence in SMKN 3 Bengkulu city.Keywords: personality, intellectual ability, teacher competence.

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of work conflicts and working pressure toward employees’ performance of PT.Pos Indonesia (Persero) Bengkulu 38000. This research was an explanatory research by using quantitative research. Sample of this research was all of the population of the PT.Pos Indonesia (Persero) Bengkulu 38000 employee with total sample was 103 employee. To know the validity of the data, the researcher used validity and reliability of instrument. Meanwhile, to analyze the data, the researcher used double linier regression. Based on the result of analysis data, the researcher found that 1) concurrently work conflicts and working pressure give significant positive effect toward the employees’ performance of PT.Pos Indonesia (Persero) Bengkulu. 2) Partially work conflicts give significant positive effect toward the employees’ performance of PT.Pos Indonesia (Persero) Bengkulu. 3) Partially working pressure give significant positive effect toward the employees’ performance of PT.Pos Indonesia (Persero) Bengkulu.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the perception of knowledge and level of concern of the coffee farmers community towards the preservation of the Kerinci Seblat National Park (TNKS) District of Lebong. This study uses qualitative or naturalistic methods because they are carried out in natural conditions. Data collection methods through Hand Delivery using questionnaires and interviews.The sample in study is the coffee farming community formed in the KUB “Maju Lestari. While data analysis is carried out simultaneously with the process of collecting data (on going analysis) using qualitative descriptive methods. It is hoped that through this approach, researchers will be able to develop new hypotheses specifically related to the behavior of the coffee farmers community in Suka Negeri Village, Topos District, Lebong Regency. From a practical aspect, the basic data that has been collected, analyzed and expected to be formulated in a form or method in the policy of developing and developing a community of coffee farmers (community development), especially in the TNKS area of Lebong Regency
