Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas bimbingan kelompok menggunakan metode investigasi kelompok dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode penelitian Quasi Experimental. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah desain eksperimen Nonequivalent Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Penelitian dilakukan di MAN Talaga dengan mengambil subjek penelitian yakni siswa kelas X yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling (sampel bertujuan). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Angket Kecerdasan Interpersonal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intervensi bimbingan kelompok menggunakan metode investigasi kelompok teruji efektif dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa.

Abstract

Kesehatan merupakan masalah yang penting dalam sebuah keluarga, terutama yang berhubungan dengan bayi, balita dan ibu hamil. Kota Bandar Lampung tahun 2009 memiliki 602 unit Posyandu yang terdiri dari Posyandu Pratama sebesar 147 (24,4%) ,Madya sebesar 218 (36,2%), Purnama sebesar 218 (36,2%) dan mandiri sebesar 19 (3,2%). Tujuan penelitian adalah diketahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pelaksanaan tugas kader kesehatan dalam kegiatan Posyandu di Wilayah kerja puskesmas Sukamaju Teluk Betung Barat Bandar Lampung tahun 2011. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Rancangan penelitian analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi adalah seluruh kader Posyandu sebesar 85 Kader.Besar sampel menggunakan total populasi.Analisis data menggunakan chi square. Hasil penelitian didapat pelaksanaan tugas kader lebih tingi pada kategori kurang baik sebesar 48 orang (56,5%), pendidikan kader lebih tinggi pada kategori rendah sebesar 53 orang (62,4%), pelatihan kader lebih tinggi pada kategori tidak pernah sebesar 57 orang (62,4%) dan pengetahuan kader lebih tinggi pada kategori kurang baik sebesar 56 orang (65,9%). Hasil uji chi square didapat ada hubungan bermakna antara pendidikan dengan Pelaksanaan tugaskader Posyandu (p value <α , 0,012 < 0,05), ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pengetahuan dengan Pelaksanaan tugas kader Posyandu (p value < α, 0,000 < 0,05) dan ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pelatihan dengan Pelaksanaan tugas kader Posyandu (p value< α, 0,003 0,05). Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi masukan bagi petugas kesehatan dalam meningkatkan tugas kader dengan memperhatikan latar belakang pendidikan terutama pendidikan rendah dalam penyampaian informasi dan konsep baru agar kader mudah memahami.

Abstract

This research aims to gain information and general description of students’ language production in writing email in an asynchronous task based online language classroom. It covers how a certain amount of writing time pressure on within task planning stage could enhance students’ language.This research applied a qualitative approach using case study research design. It was conducted in a vocational high school in Sumedang including the X grade students which were divided into two different groups A and B with different pressured online planning, namely 60 minutes and 45 minutes. The data obtained 36 emails. They were analyzed and observed using Ellis and Barkhuizen (2005). It resulted that the 45 minutes group performed better on fluency and accuracy, while longer time limit benefited language complexity. That means the students in 45 minutes group paid more attention on meaning and form while the 60 minutes group gave students chance for restructuring as the result of taking risk. Abstract

Phonological awareness is the first stage in enhancing kids' reading skills. Phonological awareness provides the foundation for youngsters to associate written letters with their voices, which will help them understand the reading process. Primary school reading abilities provide the groundwork for subsequent reading success. The research technique that utilized to conduct study on phonological awareness and reading ability of male and female primary school pupils is a research method that combines quantitative and qualitative data, commonly known as the Mixed-Method. To obtain quantitative data, this method employs one experimental group, whereas to obtain qualitative data, classroom observation, questionnaires, and interviews conducted on experimental. The subjects of this study were low-grade male and female pupils at primary schools in Cirebon. A basic random sampling procedure is used to determine the samples. There were four types of data gathering procedures used in this study: phonological awareness, observation, questionnaires, and interviews.  This study leads to several findings. First, the findings are broadly consistent with previous research in the field of PA in primary children. The study discovered a consistent developmental trajectory in the majority of the PA tasks in favor of primary children. In addition, females outperformed males in some PA subtests. In order to eliminate obstacles to advancing their reading abilities, elementary students must be trained on PA exercises.

Abstract

Songs are one of the effective teaching resources to improve students' speaking in English, the use of songs in learning English has many benefits, therefore, this study aims to determine students' perceptions of learning English through songs and to determine student responses to their abilities after learn to speak through songs. This research was conducted in one of the private vocational schools in the city of Cirebon. This research uses qualitative research with case study design. The data source of this research is using questionnaire and interview. To analyze the data, it is done through three stages, namely reduction, data display and verification. Then triangulation of data and sources is used to check the validity of a data. The results of this study illustrate that the use of songs is very effective as a learning resource to improve speaking English through songs. students give a positive perception of learning through songs that have been taught by their teachers in the classroom in the teaching and learning process they are more active and enjoy, become more enthusiastic in learning languages English, by learning through this song makes it easier for them to get more new vocabulary not only that students also know how to pronounce it properly and correctly, learning through this song students can use it in class or even outside class. Abstract

Teacher's role is one of the important components in teaching and learning activities. In the learning process, teachers are required to be professional in order to educate and support the success of students’ learning. During the Covid-19 pandemic, both teachers and students are required to carry out online learning. Every teacher must carry out his duties in educating and teaching students without face-to-face meeting. This phenomenon will be a challenge for all teachers, including English teachers. During online learning, English teachers are required to develop information technology ability and be creative in making learning materials, in order to convey the material well and interestingly. Therefore, it is paramount to reveal the ability of Information Technology of the English teachers in order to make online learning successful and the obstacle in creating materials for online learning. This research uses the descriptive-qualitative method where data collection was done by giving questionnaires and also interviews so as to provide clear information. The object of this research were the English teachers at MAN 1 Kota Cirebon. The results obtained from the research shows that the English teachers at MAN 1 Kota Cirebon had a fairly good ability to make online learning successful, in terms of operating Information Technology devices, providing solutions for students who have difficulties, providing motivation, and also making materials for online learning. The obstacle that was faced by the teacher was in terms of a bad internet network so that it does not support the online learning process. Abstract

The study examined the English text book “Stop Bullying Now” Published By Kemendikbud RI based on the Cunningsworth criteria. The study found out the quality of the English textbook “Stop Bullying Now” for class XI. The method employed in this study is qualitative descriptive. The study focuses the textbooks to fit the criteria based on Cunningsworth theory. In data-mining researcher using documentary analysis. Researcher analyzed 3 chapters of the 5 chapters of the textbook Published By Curriculum and Book Center, Balitbang, Kemendikbud. Studies show that the textbooks “Stop Bullying Now” are as good as the Cunningsworth criteria. It meets the criteria of the Cunningsworth and includes a good English textbook because it contains language content, skills, and topics. The study examined the English text book “Stop Bullying Now” Published By Kemendikbud RI based on the Cunningsworth criteria. The study found out the quality of the English textbook “Stop Bullying Now” for class XI. This study can be used by teachers as a guide in teaching so that teachers can use this textbook for school teaching activities. Abstract

This study aims to analyze students about learning using the e-learning platform and measure students' perceptions about learning using the e-learning platform. At one of the private University in Cirebon. This research uses qualitative research with case study design. The data source of this research is a data source in the form of primary or main data sources where data collection is obtained through questionnaire and interview. To analyze the data is done through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and verification or conclusion. Then the triangulation of data and sources is used as a means of checking the validity of a data. The results of the study illustrate that first, the positive perception that students have of learning through the E-Learning platform during the Covid-19 pandemic, that learning using the E-Learning platform is effective, the ELearning platform can assist students in carrying out online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Second, the E-Learning platform in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic is very useful for continuing to learn where students want to learn the media provided by lecturers such as the e-Learning platform, the use of the E-Learning platform is useful for online learning for now learning is done online. by using the E-Learning platform so that students can continue to learn.

Abstract

This research is aimed at studying the student’s problems in speaking at 11th grade of vocational high school. The research object is only centered on the learning process, while the subject of this research is an English students' at the school. During the learning activities carried out in 2 observations and 4 meetings were conducted. Observe the students' of applying learning process in the speaking class. Data collection techniques include questionnaire and interviews. On the preliminary researcher observed the students' learning process and then proceeded to the next meeting. Based on the data obtained from the observation, it can be seen that there are still many students who have problems when learning to speak English in class. The results of the interview show that after distributing questionnaire, and conducting interview, the researcher found that the 11th grade had many problems on speaking. The main factors of students’ problems because the environmental factors which do not support them to use English in their daily communication. This factor also have a big effect for students that they lack of motivation and seldom to practice English.
