Abstract

Human ignorance of their surroundings sometimes makes their health disturbed. Many factors cause a person to become uncomfortable, even to the point of making their health decline. Factors that can make a person uncomfortable and disturbed in terms of health are air temperature and humidity which are not suitable for the human body. Therefore we need a tool that can provide information to users about air temperature and humidity in the room where they are located. The tool is made using Arduino nano and uses the DTH11 sensor as a sensor which is used to read air temperature and humidity. Then to transmit the sensor value, the HC05 bluetooth module is used in the circuit. The smartphone will receive information on air temperature and humidity in real time. In applications on smartphones, in addition to the values of air temperature and humidity, there is also a smile indicator that provides information on air temperature and humidity that is good for humans. With this tool, it can make it easier for users to find out information on air temperature and humidity in the room in which they are located.

Abstract

MiFi (Mini Wifi) is an internet service provider tool that can share internet connections with devices that are connected to it, unfortunately MiFi (Mini Wifi) has a very small hotspot range, so users are required to be close to MiFi (Mini Wifi) so that to connect, the farther a device is from MiFi (Mini Wifi), the less internet speed is given to the device. From this problem, researchers intend to expand the range of reception of hotspot signals on the MiFi (Mini Wifi), namely by using a pan grid antenna and a wifi gun antenna. Therefore, this study aims to compare the level of difference in the quality of network traffic using a griddle antenna and a wifi gun antenna in providing Quality of Service (QoS) services when capturing long-distance signals. The result of this comparison is as a reference for the community to choose the best long distance signal catcher between the griddle antenna and the wifi gun antenna.

Abstract

Penggunaan internet saat ini memiliki mobilitas yang sangat tinggi, baik digunakan untuk browsing informasi, download maupun upload data, dan penggunaan fasilitas internet yang lain. Untuk itu diperlukannya bandwidth management untuk mengatur setiap data yang lewat, sehingga pembagian bandwidth menjadi merata dengan menggunakan metode Queue Tree dan PCQ yang diterapkan pada MikroTik. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode queue tree dan PCQ (Peer Connection Queue) untuk mengoptimasikan bandwidth internet. Menganalisis QoS (Quality of Service) manajemen bandwidth internet menggunakan Queue Tree dan PCQ (Peer Connection Queue) dari segi throughput, delay, dan jitter. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kualiatas jaringan dengan menggunakan metode antrian Queue tree dan PCQ lebih optimal, hal ini dikarenakan bandwidth akan terbagi sesuai dengan rule yang diterapkan pada bandwidth management dan tidak menyebabkan client saling berebut bandwith..

Abstract

Among the village administration, especially in Desa Saentis, the internet is a very important need in serving the community which is used as a medium for information exchange and direct communication with the community from a distance. However, the convenience of the internet is not really felt among the village government in the village of Percut Sei Tuan, apart from the internet network that is not supportive, the community service process is still completely manual, it is hoped that with a wireless network system connected to the internet it can serve the community through a website that will be provided by the government village. It is hoped that later the community around the Seantis Village Office can enjoy an internet connection and become an internet literate village and become a smart village with increasingly rapid technological developments. And the future benefit is that the village is expected to become a pilot village in Deli Serdang district by utilizing an internet connection to share information with the general public.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 3 Tanjung Balai currently does not have a system that can classify students with high average scores, because previously the school grouped students into superior classes by checking the grades of the students one by one in a manual way with the number of large student data, therefore a system is needed in order to be able to classify students into superior classes based on existing criteria at the school such as student report scores, extracurricular, discipline, achievement and student creativity in a very easy way, without having to look at student data one by one . The process of designing this application uses the PHP programming language and database, with this system the school only inputs student scores into the system, and automatically the system will classify which students will enter the superior class, and the ordinary class. By using the k-means clustering algorithm and applied with a database technology called data mining, the clustering algorithm is one of the data mining techniques which in the process tries to partition existing data into clusters and data mining itself is a technology used to determine different data to support decision making, data that have the same in the same group and which will be grouped into other groups. Keywords: K-means clustering, Data mining, SMA Negeri 3 Tanjung Balai

Abstract

Analyzing the difference in performance values generated by the IPv4 protocol and the IPv6 protocol VoIP services on a WAN network using a bandwidth of 128 Kbps. Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is one of the protocols commonly used in Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telecommunications. SIP is a signaling protocol developed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) under the label RFC3261. In a telephone call using IPv4 and IPv6 with a distance of 3 meters concluded that IPv6 is better with a bandwidth of 55.1 Kb and Packet Traffic of 140 compared to IPv4 with a result of 35.1 Kbps and Packet Traffic of 150. Computer network topology is a network arrangement in which each part is interconnected with each other through physical media such as cables and optical fiber.

Abstract

In today's technological developments, information (messages) is a basic need for society. Therefore the security of an information is very important. To secure the information required a technique that can secure the data, namely cryptography. Therefore, the author makes an application that can keep confidential information. In this application, the author uses a cryptographic method, namely the hill cipher method, where the hill cipher has two processes in encoding messages, namely encryption and description. In this encryption and description process, a matrix key is used. The matrix key used by the author is a 2x2 matrix. Making this application using the Python programming language. The result to be achieved from this research is the creation of an application that can encode confidential information (messages).

Abstract

Network Attached Storage (NAS) merupakan sebuah server dengan sistem operasi yang dikhususkan untuk melayanikebutuhan berkas data. NAS merupakan solusi terbaik sebagai media penyimpanan dan sharing data. Namun, aspekkeamanan data juga menjadi perhatian utama dalam penggunaan media penyimpanan NAS. Pengelola NAS server tidakdapat menjamin keamanan data pada NAS server yang dikelolanya. Dalam melindungi dan mendeteksi serangan padaNAS, penggunaan firewall sebagai keamanan sangatlah disarankan sebagai benteng awal. Metode Rule Base yangdiimplementasikan dalam firewall untuk menguji seberapa besar akurasi keamanan NAS server, apabila NAS tersebutdiserang dengan serangan multi-attack (serangan ganda). Serangan multi-attack dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu brute-forceattack dan a denial-of-service (DDoS). Analisis forensik juga diperlukan untuk mengetahui apakah ada intruder yangmelakukan penyerangan, diperlukan juga wireshark sebagai paket capturing dan snort sebagai paket sniffing yang berbasisIntrusion Detection System (IDS) dalam pengujian serangan. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode rule basedterhadap firewall iptables pada NAS yang sangat efektif untuk memblokir serangan awal terhadap NAS. Dari 8 kalipengujian, akurasi rule-based terhadap serangan multi-attack pada NAS sebesar 84% berhasil memblokir serangan dan16% gagal memblokir serangan. Waktu yang diberikan berupa pembatasan limit bandwidth masuk dan limit-burst yangditerapkan pada port icmp, udp, tcp ssh dan ftp. Rule-based berhasil memblokir serangan multi-attack yang ditujukan padaNAS. Hasil dari penerapan metode rule-based pada firewall diharapkan dapat memblokir serangan ganda pada NAS. Padaserangan brute-force rule base berhasil melakukan drop koneksi port aktif pada NAS, dan pada serangan DDoS rule basejuga berhasil melakukan drop terhadap socket flooding pada NAS.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) dalam pendidikan telah menghadirkan peluang baru untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi teknik marker-based tracking dalam konteks pembelajaran interaktif yang bertujuan mengenalkan hewan laut dalam kepada siswa sekolah dasar. Dengan memanfaatkan AR, marker, dan multimedia, penelitian ini merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi pembelajaran yang memadukan elemen-elemen tersebut. Aplikasi ini memanfaatkan marker khusus yang ditempatkan penanda yang telah disiapkan dan digunakan siswa. Ketika siswa mengarahkan perangkat mobile atau tablet mereka ke marker, teknologi marker-based tracking mengenali marker tersebut dan memicu munculnya objek 3D hewan laut dalam yang interaktif dan hidup di layar perangkat. Siswa dapat secara langsung menjelajahi dan berinteraksi dengan hewan laut, mendapatkan informasi tentang ciri-ciri fisik, dan habitat mereka dengan cara yang menarik dan mendidik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi teknik marker-based tracking dalam pembelajaran interaktif ini dapat memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Mereka tidak hanya dapat mengidentifikasi berbagai jenis hewan laut dalam secara visual, tetapi juga memahami karakteristik mereka melalui interaksi langsung dengan model 3D. Selain itu, pendekatan ini memungkinkan guru untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi AR ke dalam kurikulum mereka dengan cara yang lebih menarik, membantu siswa mengembangkan minat dan pemahaman yang lebih dalam terhadap sains dan lingkungan laut. Implementasi teknologi AR, marker, dan multimedia dalam pembelajaran interaktif semacam ini menunjukkan potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di tingkat dasar dan merangsang rasa ingin tahu serta pemahaman siswa terhadap dunia yang mengagumkan di bawah permukaan laut.
