Abstract

Purwa Caraka Music Studio is an informal music school that is quite well known in Indonesia, which has 90 branches; one of them is in Surakarta. The Interior Design of Purwa Caraka Music Studio in Surakarta aims to fulfil the users’ activities to be comfortable and safe by implementing health protocols during the pandemic. This design applies the theme rhythm with a contemporary pop art style. Batik Parang Tuding motif is used as a design transformation because it shares the same meaning as Purwa Caraka Music Studio's vision "we teach music better". The design method uses the method of Pamudji Suptandar with data sources from informants, literature, and photos/objects/artefacts. Data collection techniques use structured interview techniques, literature study, and observation

Abstract

The Law of the Republic of Indonesia, article 5, paragraphs 1 and 2 concerning the education system, states that every citizen has the same right to obtain a good quality education. Citizens who have physical, emotional, mental, intellectual, and social disabilities are entitled to special education, including vision impairment. One of those people with vision impairment skills is their music expertise by maximizing touch and the sense of hearing. This work aims to realize the Landmark Perception concept by applying dynamic repetition by visualizing the repetition of several elements, such as line, shapes, textures, colors, dimensional gradations, shape gradations, and circulation patterns. These work results are the interior designs for the main facilities, including vocal classrooms, guitar classrooms, Violin classrooms, drum classrooms, piano classrooms, concert halls, and some supporting facilities such as cafeterias and libraries. The results of this work can be a reference for interior designers in designing interiors in a contemporary style based on the needs of people with vision impairment.

Abstract

This research takes the title Reprogramming Interior of Micro Houses as the Impact of Adapting New Habits in the New Normal Era. This applied research as an effort to reprogram the interior of residential houses,especially homes with limited land (micro houses) is an urgent verb to be carried out immediately to savethe smallest environment in the community against the dangers of a pandemic and the possibility of further outbreak movements.The problem formulation in applied research is 1) Why is interior reprogramming as a result of changes in human behavior in the new normal era needed to prevent the transmission of Covid 19 in the community? 2) How is interior design thinking reprogramming to find the basic concepts of residential interiors that are in accordance with the adaptation of habits in the new normal era? and 3) How is the interior design of residential houses in the new normal era? The purpose of the research is to find the concept of interior programming as a basis for planning residential interiors that are in accordance with the adaptation of new habits and COVID 19 health protocols in the New Normal era. This applied research is a qualitative research with analytical descriptive with design thinking approach. The designsolving approach uses a functional, ergonomic, technical and Covid 19 health protocol approach that is centered on the user center or users. The results of the research that will be achieved in interior design are: identification of the causes and needs for Reprogramming Interior of Micro Residential Houses as the Impact of Adapting New Habits in the New Normal era.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSwafoto berkaitan erat dengan citra yang dipersepsikan seseorang atas dirinya sendiri (self image). Swafoto telah menjadi gaya hidup tidak hanya masyarakat perkotaan tetapi juga sudah sampai ke pinggiran. swafoto pada area wisata/ publik, hal ini juga tidak terlepas dari perubahan gaya hidup generasi muda yang kini gemar melakukan travelling.Fenomena swafoto ini akhirnya mempengaruhi pengelola ruang komersial seperti kafe untuk mendekorasi ulang interiornya dengan menyediakan spot swafoto sebagai salah satu dayatarik usahanya. Gaya hidup swafoto dan perkembangan teknologi informasi terutama media sosial seperti facebook dan Instagram telah memberi keuntungan bagi pengelola ruang komersiil dan pemerintah daerah. Dengan menyediakan spot swafoto, usahanya maupun destinasi wisatanya telah dipromosikan karena diseberluaskan melalui akun Facebook atau IG wisatawannya.Sayangnya spot swafoto sekarang yang telah ada di kafe-kafe maupun di destinasi wisata yang dikelola oleh pemerintah daerah masih terkesan seragam atau minimal jauh dari kultur setempat. Oleh karena itu perlu sebuah penelitian yang bertujuan untuk membuat Rancangan Prototipe Seni Instalasi Sebagai Elemen Artistik Spot Swafoto di Ruang Publik bernuansa budaya lokal.Penelitian ini didesain sebagai penelitian eksperimentatif dengan menggunakan metode Kreasi Artistik yang memiliki tahapan riset dengan pendekatan etik dan riset dengan pendekatan emik sebagai dasar penciptaan karya, dan kedua, tahapan penciptaan karya berisi: eksperimentasi, perenungan dan pembentukan. Penelitian ini didesain sebagai penelitin terapan dengan durasi selama enam bulan.  Luaran penelitian ini adalah: draft rtikel ilmiah, produk inovasi dan KI. Kata kunci; seni instalasi; spot swafoto, budaya lokal, ruang publik  ABSTRACTSelfie is closely related to the image that a person perceives of himself (self image). Selfie has become a lifestyle not only for urban people but has also reached the outskirts. selfies in tourist/public areas, this is also inseparable from the changing lifestyles of the younger generation who are now fond of traveling.This selfie phenomenon has finally influenced the managers of commercial spaces such as cafes to redecorate their interiors by providing selfie spots as one of the attractions of their business. The selfie lifestyle and the development of information technology, especially social media such as Facebook and Instagram, have provided benefits for commercial space managers and local governments. By providing selfie spots, their businesses and tourist destinations have been promoted because they are disseminated through their Facebook accounts or tourists' IG accounts.Unfortunately, the selfie spots that already exist in cafes and tourist destinations managed by local governments still seem uniform or at least far from local culture. Therefore, a research is needed that aims to create a Prototype Design of Installation Art as an Artistic Element of a Selfie Spot in a Public Space with the nuances of local culture.This research is designed as an experimental research using the Artistic Creation method which has research stages with an ethical approach and research with an emic approach as the basis for creating works, and second, the stages of creating works consist of: experimentation, reflection and formation. This study was designed as an applied research with a duration of six months. Abstract

Perancangan interior Padepokan Pencak Silat PSHT Kota Mojokerto bertujuan untuk mewadahi seluruh kegiatan organisasi PSHT Cabang Mojokerto agar dapat berkembang serta tertata dengan baik. Desain ini mengusung tema kebudayaan lokal Mojokerto dengan mengaplikasikan batik Mojokerto, yaitu batik kawung rambutan dan material khas Majapahit seperti bata merah, batu andesit, kayu, lisplank ukir dan atap sirap, serta mengusung gaya tradisional-kontemporer. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini menggunakan metode Kurtz programming yang secara umum terdiri dari empat tahapan utama, yaitu: Orientation, Baseprogram, Iterative Programming, dan Design as Feedback. Dengan ruang lingkup perancangan meliputi lobi, restoran, gedung olah raga, penginapan, dan tempat latihan outdoor. Dengan adanya perancangan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah agar perkembangan PSHT pencak silat di Mojokerto dapat terfasilitasi dengan baik.Keywords: Interior, Padepokan, PSHT, Tradisional, and Mojokerto

Abstract

Motif batik parang pada perancangan interior rumah bilyar Masse Poolaholic di Surakarta merupakan perancangan pada interior rumah bilyar Masse Poolaholic dengan menerapkan unsur kabudayaan jawa berupa motif batik Parang. Perancangan ini bertujuan menghasilkan desain interior pada rumah bilyar Maase Poolaholic yang nyaman dan sesuai dengan standar interior rumah bilyar serta ikut serta dalam pelestarian kebudayaan jawa melalui desain interior. Perancangan ini mengadopsi dari beberapa tahapan proses desain dari John M. Kurtz. Model Kurtz menekankan pemrograman pada sisi kualitatif dari pada kuantitatif. Motif batik parang diterapkan pada elemen pembentuk ruang yang berupa backdrop pada dinding serta permainan bentuk pada ceiling dan pengisi ruang yang berupa meja resepsionis, meja bar, dan bangku pengunjung. Motif batik Parang tersebut diterapkan pada pada area lobby, café and bar, dan billiard hall.
