Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan sosial siswi SMP Negeri 17 kota Bengkulu. Metode penelitian ini adalah studi deskriptif, dimana bentuk datanya berupa deskripsi kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan statistik deskiptif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan skala likert. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi SMP Negeri 17 Kota Bengkulu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan sosial siswa baik menurut jenis kelamin, pendidikan orangtua, dan tempat tinggal ada pada kategori sedang. Hasil ini menyarankan bahwa keterampilan sosial siswa SMP Negeri 17 Kota Bengkulu perlu ditingkatkan. Kata Kunci: Studi Deskriptif, ketrampilan sosial siswa.  DESCRIPTIVE STUDY OF SOCIAL SKILLS OF STUDENTS OF STATE SMPN 17 CITIES BENGKULU CITY ABSTRACTThis research ained to describe the social skills of students in the SMPN 17 cities of Bengkulu City. The research, were description study. Data collected by quessioner with scale. The sample used in this research is SMPN 17 Bengkulu city. Scale used in this research is likert scale. The results showed that the stedend social skill accordy to gender, perent educations level and student living were un moderent category. This study reconended to in student , social skill in SMP 17 Kota Bengkulu.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to describe the effect of self control through group counseling on students’ aggressive behavior tendency. The method quasi experimental method with one group pre-test post test design. The subject was 6 students class VIII at SMPN 12 Kota Bengkulu who had very high and high aggressive behavior tendency. The technique of collecting data was questionnaire. The result showed that the students’ aggressive behavior decreased after giving self control exercise through group counseling. It was showed by the result of difference test Z = -2,201 (p<0,05).
