Abstract

Tension-type headache (TTH) is one of the most common headache and most common forms of primary headaches.According to the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) nearly 80% of all people in their lifetime haveexperienced episodic TTH and 3% have chronic TTH. TTH has comorbidities with many psychiatric disorders includinganxiety, although the characteristics of the individual itself largely determine the relationship between anxiety and TTH.Medical students have health problems and high stress levels especially those in their final semester. The demands andpressures of a tough final project have an impact on high levels of anxiety and stress in medical students. To determine therelationship between anxiety and events. Tension-Type Headache in Medical Faculty students of the University ofMuhammadiyah, North Sumatra in 2020. Using a descriptive analytic observational method and a cross sectional studyapproach with a purposive sampling technique that is samples will be selected and considered subjectively in the hope thatthey can provide adequate information in answering research questions. From the results of statistical analysis this studyshowed that there was a significant relationship between anxiety and the incidence of TTH in FK UMSU students with a pvalue = 0.0001. There is a significant relationship between anxiety and the incidence of TTH in FK UMSU students in 2020.

Descriptive research with a "crosssectional"research design. Data retrieval is done by interview technique using questionnaire instruments. Data analysisusing the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) program. The majority of respondents' knowledge level of selftreatmentwas moderate, which was 60 (61.2%) respondents. The majority of respondents' attitudes towards self-medicationwere moderate, with 83 (85.6%) respondents. The majority of respondents' actions against self-treatment were moderate, with 45 (45.9%) respondents. Abstract

Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH) is one of the most common infections worldwide. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) 24% of the world's population, are infected with STH. The impact of STH infection is decrease in children's cognitive abilities and achievement. The low education level is the high main cause of STH. To determine the relationship between education level and knowledge of STH in mothers of aisyiyah. Analytical descriptive research method with a cross sectional approach. Data collection using categorical analytic formulas will then be carried out by the Chi-square analysis test. The level of knowledge of respondents is based on the latest level of education at Junior High School was 2 people (6.7%) with a low level of knowledge, the last level of education at Senior High School had a good level of knowledge as much as 2 people (5.27%), the level of knowledge was sufficient as much 9 people (32.75%), and the level of lack of knowledge was 2 people (5.27%), and at the last education level D3 / Bachelor degree where 4 people had a good level of knowledge (14.45%), and the level of knowledge was sufficient 11 people (35.55%). The Chi-Square test results obtained p value = 0.004 (p <0.05). There is a relationship between education level and knowledge level.

Abstract

Soil Transmitted Helminthes (STH) infection is an infection that has a fairly high incidence in the world. It is estimated that 60% of the world's population is infected with STH which plays an important role in causing death. The high infection rate is related to public hygiene, especially in consuming food, especially for food that is often eaten raw with less clean washing and the factor of using feces as organic fertilizer to make plants fertile. This study was conducted to compare the incidence of STH worm egg contamination in mustard greens (Brassica juncea L) sold in modern and traditional markets in Medan City. The research design used is analytic with a cross-sectional study. The sample used in this study amounted to 70 samples. Each sample of mustard greens was taken as many as 35 samples from modern markets and 35 samples from traditional markets in 21 sub-districts in Medan City. Then the samples were examined at the parasitology laboratory of the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra using the sedimentation method and eosin staining. From 70 samples, 24 samples of mustard greens from traditional markets were positive for STH contamination (68,57%) while 10 samples of mustard greens from modern markets were positive for STH contamination (28,57%). Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in STH contamination in mustard greens sold in modern markets and traditional markets in Medan City as evidenced by the p- value obtained, which is 0.001 (p<0.05).

Abstract

Vegetables have the potential to be a source of transmission of Soil Transmitted Helminth (STH) through soil used in vegetable cultivation and water is an important transmission medium. The incidence of STH contamination in the city of Medan is still quite high, one of the main routes of transmission of STH contamination is through consumption of contaminated vegetables such as kale. To compare the incidence of STH worm egg contamination in kale (Ipomoea Aquatica) which is sold in traditional and modern markets in Medan. The research design used was analytic observational with a cross-sectional study. The sample used in this study amounted to 140 samples. Kale vegetables were taken from 70 samples from traditional markets and 70 samples from modern markets in 21 sub-districts in the city of Medan. Then the samples were examined in the parasitology laboratory of the University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra (UMSU) using the sedimentation method and safranin staining. Then the data is processed with the SPSS program. From 140 samples of kale, 28 samples from traditional markets were positive for STH contamination (73.68%) and 10 samples from modern markets were positive for STH contamination (35.71%). The types of STH found were Ascaris lumbricoides (13.15%) and Hookworm (86.84%). Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in STH contamination in kale which is sold in traditional markets and in modern markets in the city of Medan as evidenced by the p-value obtained, which is 0.001 (p <0.005). Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension increases blood pressure that can cause complications such as stroke and coronary heart disease. Hypertension is the third leading cause of death in Indonesia for all ages, after stroke and tuberculosis. A patient's non-compliance with antihypertensive drugs is one of the significant factors in therapy failure. Basic Health Research (RISKESDAS) in 2007 reported the prevalence of hypertension in the population aged 18 years and above reached 31.7% and those taking antihypertensive drugs only 0.4%. The interaction of various factors also plays a role in influencing the compliance of hypertension treatment. Objective: This study aims to identify the relationship of knowledge with medication compliance in hypertensive patients at Sukaramai Medan Health Center. Method: Analytical research, with across-sectional design, i.e., by takingindependentvariable data (knowledge) and dependent variables (Medication Compliance) simultaneously without follow-up.The population of this study is people with hypertension in Sukaramai Medan Health Center. Bivariate analysis to look at the relationship between knowledge and Medication Compliance. The statistical test used is Chi-Square with a value of p 0.05 showing a meaningful statistical test result. Result: Compliance with hypertension treatment in respondents with a high level of knowledge of 18 respondents (56.2%) was non-compliant, and 14 respondents (43.8%) obeyed. While respondents with a low level of knowledge of 25 respondents (78.1%) were non-compliant, and seven respondents (21.9%) obeyed.Chi-Squareanalysis results obtained value p = 0.062 (p0.05). Conclusion: There is no relationship between knowledge level and medication compliance in hypertensive patients at Sukaramai Medan Heal
