<![CDATA[Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Buru dalam menulis Teks Prosedur dengan menggunakan metode resitasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Buru dalam menulis Teks Prosedur dengan menggunakan metode resitasi. Penelitian ini berbentuk deskriptif kuantitatif, yaitu menggambarkan secara objektif hasil yang diperoleh siswa dalam tes kemampuan menulis teks prosedur menggunakan metode resitasi. Proses pemorelehan data yang dilakukan secara langsung pada objek yakni siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Buru sebagai tempat penelitian, maka penelitian ini dapat dikategorikan ke dalam jenis penelitian lapangan. Kemampuan menulis teks prosedur menggunakan metode resitasi pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Buru adalah berhasil dengan baik. Hal ini berdasar pada hasil analisis data yaitu subjek penelitian yang memperoleh nilai 65 keatas sebanyak 31 orang siswa atau 91,18% dan subjek penelitian yang memperoleh nilai di bawah 65 sebanyak 3 0rang siswa atau 8,82%. Dengan demikian kemampuan menulis teks prosedur menggunakan metode resitasi pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Buru secara klasikal sudah berhasil dengan baik karena subjek penelitian secara klasikal telah mencapai nilai di atas 85% yaitu 91,18%, dengan skor tertinggi 90 dan skor terndah 60.Kata kunci : Menulis Teks Prosedur, Metode Resitasi Abstract. This study aims to describe the VII graders of SMP Negeri 9 Buru in writing Procedure Text using recitation methods. This type of research used is quantitative descriptive. This study aims to describe how the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Buru write a Procedure Text using the recitation method. This research is in the form of quantitative descriptive, that is to describe objectively the results obtained by students in tests of the ability to write procedure texts using recitation methods. The data processing process is carried out directly on the object, namely VII grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Buru as a place of research, so this research can be categorized into types of field research. The ability to write procedural texts using the recitation method in grade VII students of SMP Negeri 9 Buru was successful. This is based on the results of data analysis namely the research subjects who scored 65 or above as many as 31 students or 91.18% and research subjects who scored below 65 were 3 students or 8.82%.
