Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan langkah kongkrit pemerintah dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia dalam menempuh dunia global sekarang ini yang makin menantang, baik dari segi spritual, sosial dan emosional. Dengan demikian pendidikan merupakan salah satu alternatif dalam memecahkan permasalahan bangsa yang saat ini makin merosot terutama pondok peantren sebagai wadah menggali ilmu-ilmu agama melalui kitab-kitab turats (baca: kitab kuning). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dalam proses pengumpulan data-data dari lapangan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini ingin diungkap bagaimana proses belajar mengajar berbicara bahasa Arab berbasis komunikatif interaktif dalam bingkai pembelaran kitab kuning dan kendala apa saja yang dihadapi siswa. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukakan di pondok pesantren Al-Halimy khusus putra menemukan bentuk kegiatan yang mendukung meningkatnya keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab santri dengan memberikan materi penguatan bahasa Arab seperti: kosa kata (mufradat), imla’ dan nahu dan shraf, dan menggunakan metode-metode variatif sesuai dengan materi yang diajar. Kitab kuning juga sebagai basis pembelajaran disana sangat mempengaruhi kecakapan berbicara santri, selain itu juga milieu tidak bisa kita napikan yang punya peran penting dalam lingkungan pondok pesantren.

Abstract

This study discusses interactive communicative learning of Arabic language skills in the study of the yellow book at the Al-Halimy Sesela Special Islamic Boarding School. In this study, we want to reveal how the process of teaching and learning to speak Arabic based on interactive communication in the yellow book learning frame and what obstacles students face. This research uses a qualitative approach in the process of collecting data from the field. The data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of research conducted at the Al-Halimy Islamic boarding school specifically for boys found a form of activity that supports the improvement of students' Arabic speaking skills by providing material for strengthening Arabic such as vocabulary (mufradat), imla' and nahu and shraf, and using methods varied according to the material being taught. The yellow book as a basis for learning there greatly influences the speaking skills of students, besides that, we cannot ignore the milieu which has an important role in the Islamic boarding school environment.

Abstract

Arabic is the basic foundation in Islam both scientifically and in practice. The reason is, the Qur'an and al-Hadith use Arabic as the medium of delivery. Recently, there has been an expansion of the function of the Arabic language which is brought into the realm of daily communication in order to articulate Islamic identity and mostly occurs in the Muslim community of hijra. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The implementation procedure is to observe the reality of the arabization of the communication of the hijrah Muslim community and its relationship to the articulation of Islamic identity. The method used in analyzing the data is Miles and Huberman's interactive model, namely; data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. While the method used in testing the validity of the data is the method of triangulation and triangulation of sources, peer discussions and member check. The results of this study are: 1) Arabicization of the communication of the hijrah Muslim community is a process of assimilation of Arabic in culture and is used as a symbol in identity politics in a global society. 2) The Arabization of this communication does not touch fundamental aspects of Islam at all, but is only a model of communication.
