Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the performance of SMEs. SMEs need to have a sustainable competitive advantage one way that can be achieved is making the right decision in the field of operations.   Samples were taken using purposive sampling of 30 SMEs, the type of data used is primary data with questionnaire data collection methods. Analysis techniques in measuring performance waiting line using analysis tool POM for windows, which is software that helps decision-making in the field of operations management.   The analysis showed that the performance of 47% of SMEs have been efficient, but 53% of SMEs have not been efficient. This is caused by several factors: the length of service providers are still ignoring the queue (waiting line), service providers do not add facilities (service facilities) and service level (μ) is lower than the arrival rate (λ). So that the necessary decisions in the waiting line system, with appropriate decision-making SMEs can enhance the sustainable competitive advantage.

Abstract

Keberadaan kewirausahaan mulai dari level individu, organisasi sampai masyarakat sangat terkait erat dengan tingkat kemiskinan atau tidaknya masyarakat. Dari analisis situasi mitra (kelompok masyarakat) yang sudah diamati dan diobservasi dapat dikemukaan bahwa kelompok masyarakat di Kabupaten Demak masih kurang memilki jiwa kewirausahaan. Oleh karenanya, Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini memiliki target untuk melakukan pemberdayaan kelompok masyarakat melalui kegiatan pelatihan kewirausahaan, sedangkan luarannya adalah agar kelompok masyarakat di kabupaten Demak yang telah mendapat pelatihan kewirausahaan dapat termotivasi dan mewujudkan dalam kegiatan berwirausaha. Kelompok Masyarakat Kabupaten Demak dipilih menjadi mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat,  metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan pelatihan kewirausahaan disertai contoh pembuatan produk kreatif. Adapun pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan dengan pemberian 2 materi kewirausahaan.

Abstract

UMKM memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam perekonomian nasional, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kinerja UMKM. Kinerja operasional UKM dapat diukur dengan menggunakan sistem antrian. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan purposive sampling dari 30 UMKM, jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer dengan metode pengumpulan data kuesioner. Teknik analisis dalam mengukur kinerja operasional menggunakan alat analisis Excel OM for windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kinerja dari 14 UMKM sudah optimal (utility), tetapi kinerja 16 UMKM belum optimal (disutility). Setelah mengukur hasil kinerja operasional, UMKM dapat mengambil keputusan, antara lain: meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan menambah fasilitas pelayanan.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the assignment of employees. SMEs should have a sustainable competitive advantage, an effort that can be achieved is the optimal assignment of employees. Dede Motorcycle is an SMEs engaged in services. For Dede Motorcycle, customer is everything, therefore the customer is very important and need to be maintained so as not to move to another company or competitor. Problems that occur when this method is not optimal assignment of employees ( mechanics ).   The sampling method was done by using purposive sampling. Method of data collection by interview to conduct a discussion with Dede Motorcycle Semarang on research instruments, determine the number of employees and number of jobs and value the skills competencies of each employee. Then compared before and after the assignment method using the software POM.   Analysis of the results obtained by the fact, that the Employee Assignment before using the software POM, the value of the assignment showed a value of 265 (optimal value before POM) and after using the software POM, Optimal Allocation Assignment, Sodiq working Modification, Nurohim working Electrical, Mustakim working Tune-Up and Yanto working Over-Hole with the optimal value of the acquisition amounted to 335 (optimal value assignment). With optimal assignment SMEs can improve competitive advantage (competitiveness) sustainable.
