Abstract

ABSTRAKPenyakit diare merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat terutama di lingkungan lahan basah. Wilayah yang mengalami kejadian diare yaitu wilayah kerja Puskesmas Banjarbaru Selatan di Kelurahan Guntung Paikat RT 04 RW 04. Lingkungan terkecil yaitu rumah tangga berperan dalam perkembangbiakan agen penyakit diare. Risiko lingkungan lahan basah yaitu keadaan rumah yang sehat bersama dengan dengan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) dan sanitasi alat rumah tangga yang berkaitan dengan penularan diare. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini untuk melakukan pemantauan terhadap pencegahan diare berupa Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) dan sanitasi alat rumah tangga. Metode yang dilakukan diawali dengan penyuluhan dengan mengedukasi sasaran mengenai  penyakit diare dan hubungan kriteria rumah sehat. Pemberian lembar ceklis untuk memantau Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) dan sanitasi alat rumah tangga. Kegiatan pemantauan dilakukan secara berkala selama 3 kali dalam 4 minggu melalui grup whatsapp dan door to door. Berdasarkan hasil pemantauan didapatkan 22 juru pemantau didapatkan dengan akumulasi 14 rumah tangga mengalami peningkatan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) dan akumulasi 16 rumah tangga mengalami peningkatan higiene sanitasi alat rumah tangga. Kata kunci: diare; juru pemantau; rumah sehat; Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS); sanitasi alat rumah tangga ABSTRACTDiarrhea is a public health problem, especially in a wetland environment. The area that experienced diarrhea was the working area of the South Banjarbaru Public Health Center in Guntung Paikat Village, RT 04 RW 04. The smallest environment, namely the household, played a role in the proliferation of diarrhea disease agents. The risk of the wetland environment is the condition of a healthy house along with Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (CHLB) and sanitation of household utensils associated to diarrhea transmission. The purpose of this activity is to monitor the prevention of diarrhea in the form of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) and sanitation of household utensils. The method begins with counseling by educating the target about diarrheal diseases and the association of healthy house criteria. Provision of checklists to monitor Clean and Healthy Behavior (CHLB) and sanitation of household utensils. Monitoring activities are carried out regularly for 3 times in 4 weeks through whatsapp group and door to door. Based on the monitoring result 22 monitors were obtained with accumulation of 14 households experienced an increase in Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (CHLB) and the accumulation of 16 households experienced an increase in the hygiene and sanitation of household utensils. Keywords: diarrhea; monitors; healthy house, clean and healthy life behavior; household hygiene sanitation.

Abstract

21st-century skills demand that learners have critical thinking and creative thinking skills, which can be used in solving problems in everyday life in chemistry learning activities. The Scientific Critical Creative Thinking (SCCrT) model is one of the constructivist learning models that can train students' critical thinking and creative thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference between the critical thinking skills and creative thinking skills of students with the SCCrT model (experimental class) and the Direct Instruction (DI) model (control class) in learning salt hydrolysis material. Quasi-experimental research method with nonequivalent control group design, research sample class XI MIPA SMAN 10 Banjarmasin. The research data were obtained from the test results of learners' critical and creative thinking skills, then analyzed descriptively, qualitatively, and inferentially (with the SPSS program version 25). The results showed that the average critical thinking skills with the SCCrT model were higher than those of the DI model (significance value 0.001 < 0.05). The average creative thinking skills with the SCCrT model are also higher than those of the DI model (significance value 0.002 < 0.05). Thus, the SCCrT model is better than the DI model in training learners' critical thinking and creative thinking skills in learning salt hydrolysis material.

Abstract

This systematic literature review explores the application of the Problem Posing Model, a holistic educational approach, in civic education to enhance elementary school students' problem-solving abilities. By fostering a comprehensive understanding of conflict resolution and cooperative problem solving, civic skills, derived from civic knowledge, become meaningful tools in addressing national and societal issues. This review methodology involves the identification, review, evaluation, and interpretation of empirical studies conducted over the past five years (2018-2022), focused on applying a civic skills-oriented problem-posing model in elementary education. The initial search yielded approximately 250 articles from databases such as ERIC, Google Scholar, and Sinta. After a meticulous process, 20 articles, primarily from high schools and universities, were chosen for the review using three primary keywords: problem-posing models, civic skills, and problem-solving abilities. The selected articles were published in international or national educational journals, including Scopus and Sinta, adhering to specific criteria such as the focus on Civics learning strategies, addressing misconceptions about the application of problem-posing models and problem-solving, and publication within the last five years in Scopus (Q1-Q4) and Sinta (S1-S4) indexed journals. The research findings indicate that the problem-posing model enhances students' critical thinking and creativity, proving more effective than conventional teaching methods. The integration of civic skills in Civics subjects boosts students' active participation, fostering attitudes of tolerance, cooperation, and responsibility. Therefore, the application of a civic skills-oriented problem-posing model can significantly improve students' ability to analyze problems critically, demonstrating openness, tolerance, and accountability.
