Old Village is located in one of the Districts of Hamparan Perak, Deli Serdang Regency of North Sumatra Province. The activities carried out by Mr. Sabarudin and some members in the Old Village of Hamparan Perak are producing traditional dodol-type food. Although only traditional food but the food is no less competitive amid popular food in the community. But there is one problem that is related to the promotion carried out by Mr. Sabarudin and members, still using manual methods and only done by word of mouth only. The methods used in this devotion are observation, interview, approach and training. With the application of these methods aims to facilitate in the process of community service implementation in the creation of promotional videos. The implementation stage of the activity starts from the preparation stage of implementation, and evaluation that focuses on skills in making a sales promotion using video media. The results obtained in activities and training in the use of video media as a means of promotion are to increase absorption and income for Mr. Sabarudin and members. Before this training was held the promotion of dodol was only by word of mouth. This community service activity is useful for dodol making business actors in the Old Village of Hamparan Perak Subdistrict.

Penelitian yang berjudul Identitas Sosial Masyarakat Melayu Deli Pada Film Dokumenter Kampung Kunyit. Film ini menampilkan terkait gambaran identitas sosial masyarakat Melayu Deli yang ada di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Selain itu Film adalah suatu bentuk seni yang mengandung informasi dan hiburan Ini berisi representasi atau makna dari apa yang ditampilkan. Belakangan ini banyak film yang memuat pesan ideologi ataupun identitas maka pada saat ini para sineas film menawarkan film dengan berbagai macam ragam genre. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran identitas yang ditampilkan melalui sebuah film dokumenter yang berjudul Kampung Kunyit. Sementara metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Fokus dalam penelitian ini yaitu mengungkap gambaran identitas sosial yang berada dalam film dokumenter Kampung Kunyit. Sedangkan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Representasi yang dipopulerkan oleh Stuart Hall. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu adanya representasi komponen kognitif, representasi komponen evaluatif, dan representasi komponen emosional.

Judul penelitian ini adalah Analisis Model Budaya Pada Film Dokumenter Kampoeng Kunyit Sutradara Dwi Chita Suci. Film adalah suatu bentuk seni yang mengandung informasi dan hiburan Ini berisi representasi atau makna dari apa yang ditampilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merepresentasikan atau memaknai budaya lokal Melayu yang terdapat pada film Kampoeng Kunyit melalui mise en scene yang menampilkan budaya Melayu. Jenis pendekatan penelitian yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dan menggunakan analisis isi berdasarkan model budaya Edgar H. Schein. Edgar H. Schein membagi model budaya ini menjadi dua kategori, seperti Budaya Benda dan budaya bukanlah benda. Sementara hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya bahwa pada film documenter Kampong Kunyit Sutradara Dwi Chita Suci ditemukan adanya representasi dua tanda kebudayaan antara lain: (a) budaya dan seni (b) bahasa (c) kekayaan budaya yang terdiri dari makanan Minuman lokal (papeda dan sopi) dan budaya tak berwujud, yaitu: (a)kepercayaan/ritual tradisional (b) hubungan pribadi.

The purpose of carrying out this community service activity, firstly, is to fulfill the tridarma duties of the tertiary institution, secondly, to provide useful training for UKM Walidayna to be able to produce attractive and good product photos, to be able to attract consumer interest. The technique of taking photos using a mini box is very suitable for making product catalogs for SMEs which usually have a limited bag for their marketing field. Mini box is a photo taking technique that uses a mini studio with raw materials that are relatively cheap and easy to obtain with good results and is not inferior to photos produced by large photo studios which usually cost a lot.

Peranan sebuah tata artistik dalam sebuah program acara baik televisi maupun film sangat dibutuhkan dalam duni perindustrian, dikarenakan dengan adanya tata artistik tersebut dapat membuat sebuah program acara tersebut dapat terlihat hidup. Dengan adanya sentuhan-sentuhan estetik yang diberikan oleh seorang penata artistik tersebut, dapat memberikan suasana yang baru pada program acara yang dikemas. Tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat melakukan sebuah pengenalan seni Tata Artistik pada Siswa/i SMK Tritech Informatika Medan. Pada saat penulis melakukan kegiatan pengenalan tata artistik tersebut, terdapat beberapa siswa yang masih awam dan belum mengenal apa yang dimaksud dengan tata artistik tersebut. Diharapkan dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini semoga dapat memberikan ilmu yang bermanfaat kepada siswa-siswa SMK Tritech Informatika Medan dalam hal Tata Artistik. Pelatihan pengenalan Tata Artistik ini diselenggarakan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan praktis dan paraktek langsung kepada Siswa-Siswi SMK Tritech Informatika Medan. Sedangkan Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan praktek. Adapun hasil pelatihan pengenalan Tata Artistik yang dilaksanakan yaitu mampu menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan para peserta dan besarnya antusias peserta terhadap kegiatan pelatihan ini.

This community service activity aims to provide new knowledge to the staff and teaching staff of Kartika I-1 Kindergarten School of Medan Helvetia related to the company profile video creation. As an educational institution, Kartika I-1 Kindergarten School of Medan Helvetia commits to strengthening the education realm in this country. For this reason, Kartika I-1 Kindergarten School of Medan Helvetia is more widely known, of course, company profile videos can be a solution as promotional media. Through this community service activity, the staff and teaching staff of Kartika I-1 Kindergarten School of Medan Helvetia are given the stages of the process that must be passed to produce a company profile video. The method passed in this activity was carried out by collecting data descriptively through direct interviews with the principal of Kartika I-1 Kindergarten School of Medan Helvetia. This activity begins with an introduction to the company profile video, an explanation of the stages of planning, screenwriting, and video production, an introduction to basic video editing, and an explanation of video promotion techniques. The results show that the participants involved can understand well the stages in the process of making a company profile video. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan baru kepada staf dan tenaga pengajar TK Kartika I-1 Medan Helvetia terkait pembuatan video company profile. Sebagai sebuah lembaga pendidikan tentu TK Kartika I-1 Medan Helvetia memiliki komitmen untuk memajukan dunia pendidikan. Untuk itu, agar TK Kartika I-1 Medan Helvetia dikenal semakin luas tentu video company profile dapat menjadi solusi sebagai media promosi. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini para staf dan tenaga pengajar TK Kartika I-1 Medan Helvetia diberikan tahapan proses yang harus dilalui untuk menghasilkan sebuah video company profile. Metode yang dilalui dalam kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan mengumpul data secara deskriptif melalui wawancara langsung dengan kepala sekolah TK Kartika I-1 Medan Helvetia. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan pengantar tentang video company profile, penjelasan tahapan perencanaan, penulisan skenario, produksi video, sampai dengan pengantar pengeditan video dasar dan penjelasan teknik promosi video. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa para peserta yang terlibat dapat memahami dengan baik tahapan demi tahapan dalam proses pembuatan video company profile.

The use of Adobe Premiere as one of the editing software in editing an advertisement video is currently very much needed for students, especially students of SMKS Brayan Darat. With the rapid development of technology at this time, making video advertisements is easy, especially with the Adobe Premiere software, by using this software, making advertisements can be attractive and have an aesthetic impression for the viewer. Smks Pulau Brayan Darat is one of the educational units with the SMK level in Pulo Brayan Darat I, Kec. East Medan, Medan City, North Sumatra. In carrying out its activities, the Pulau Brayan Darat Vocational School is under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture. But unfortunately at this time there are still some students who do not really understand how to operate a computer. So most of them are still new to understanding video editing using Adobe Premiere. It is hoped that this community service activity can be useful for students of SMKS Pulau Brayan Darat in using Adobe Premier software.

The movie "Pulang" presents a story that uses the theory of inner conflict in building a reverse chronology plot, to describe the emotional journey of the main character Karin, who must overcome and accept inner conflict triggered by dissociative amnesia due to trauma experienced by her mother 2 years ago. By introducing the audience to Karin's life, which is characterized by sincerity and patience in taking care of her mother despite not being considered a child by her own mother due to amnesia, this film uses the theory of inner conflict in the mother character. Through the inner conflict theory, it can build a reverse chronology plot twist. Through the reverse chronology plot twist, the audience is invited to explore the past of Rama and his mother, detailing the traumatic event that resulted in the amnesia. The combination of inner conflict and plot twist reverse chronology in the context of trauma and amnesia creates a story that is full of pain, full of inner struggle, and is able to arouse empathy from the audience towards the complexity of humans in dealing with past wounds.

Film, as a genre in the world of cinema, offers a short but captivating audiovisual experience. Films have the potential to create creative, entertaining works and have high artistic value. In the filmmaking process, various techniques and elements are used to improve the quality of the final result. Films are able to convey messages and emotions through various means, including dialogue, visuals, music and special effects. This research focuses on the important role of shooting techniques or cameras in film making. One of the techniques taught is Dutch Angle or Dutch Tilt, which involves tilting the camera angle on a vertical or horizontal axis. This technique is often used in the thriller and horror genres to create a dramatic effect on the audience. The film "Help Me" is an interesting case study, utilizing the Dutch Angle to produce emotions such as sadness, fear, anger, and surprise in the audience. The story of this film tells the story of a student named Dinda who is trapped in an organization that adheres to devil beliefs. Through the use of Dutch Angle, the audience is presented with an unstable atmosphere, creating tension and anxiety that blends with the main character's experiences. The aim of making the film "Help Me" is to apply the Dutch Angle technique to arouse the audience's emotions. In this way, the author hopes to strengthen the message and emotional nuances conveyed through this film. This research also aims to provide an overview of how shooting techniques in films can influence the audience's perception and emotions towards the work.

This research aims to determine Toba Batak culture in the Pariban idol film from Java using mise en scene. In the film Pariban, idols from Java depict many of the meanings in each story such as the characters, language and culture of the people through a qualitative descriptive approach. It is hoped that this research will be able to convey the meaning implied in the film Pariban Idol from Java. The type of method in this research uses qualitative research methods. Qualitative is field or interpretive research. The object of his research is the Pariban film from Java. The type of data source used by the author in this research is primary data obtained from the film itself and then observing mise en scene elements from several scene pieces or scenes needed for research purposes. The data collection technique in this research is in the form of documentation by searching for data regarding matters related to films via the internet and books that are related to this research.
