Abstract

Abstract

Perlakuan dicoba yaitu P1(100% dosis AB-Mix), P2 (75% dosis AB-Mix + POC + pupuk hayati), P3(50% dosis AB-Mix + POC + pupuk hayati), P4 (25% dosis AB-Mix + POC + pupuk hayati), dan P5 (0% dosis AB-Mix + POC + pupuk hayati).

Abstract

The Women Farmer Group Sejahtera mostly housewives or decorative plant farmer in Sikapat villages, Sumbang district, Banyumas regency. Its located in northern city of Purwokerto, within 15,2 km from UNU Purwokerto. Its location in highland (800 masl) has good potential for horticultural and ornamentalplant cultivation. One obstacle of farmer group is presence of pest and pathogen. Control usually done by farmer with spraying sinthetic pesticides. This PKM provides another alternative, used botanical pesticides that more environmentally friendly, through training make botanical pesticides. The methode used was counseling, training and application. The result of PKM was an increase knowledge and skills about the benefits and ways of making botanical pesticides from plants around the house. Botanical pesticides can reduce production costs and potentially as a home industry.

Abstract

Ciplukan plant is a plant that has potential to be used as a medicinal plant because it has various bioactive contents. Several studies that have been carried out are still limited to the potential, content and benefits of ciplukan plants. The aspect of disease attack on ciplukan plants, there has not been much research, even though this plant has various benefits and is currently being developed. This is what underlies this research. If previous research used organic and chemical fertilizers, it is also necessary to compare using biological fertilizers derived from mycorrhizal fungi against diseases found in ciplukan plants. The stages of the research carried out were planting preparation and application, observation, maintenance and data analysis. The aim of research was to determine the types and symptoms of disease, as well as important diseases-causing pathogens in ciplukan plants and the effect of a combination of biological (mycorrhizal) and organic fertilizers on diseases intensity. The results of the research obtained two types of diseases that occurred in ciplukan plants, namely leaf spot symptoms caused by Cercospora sp. and curly leaf symptoms caused by Cucumber Mosaic Virus (CMV). The combination of mycorrhizal treatment and organic fertilizer (manure) tends to increase the intensity of leaf spot disease and the incidence of curly leaf diseases.

Abstract

The study aims at getting the right media and the appropriate varieties for cherry tomato production using hydroponic drops in lowland areas, doing a vecial experiment with 2 factors: planting media and variety. The plant medium is cocopeat, chaff and ferns. The varieties used were Red Ruby, Rojita, and Juliet. The environmental design used is the random design of the group of 3 variable reenactments observed being the height of the plants, the diameter of the bar, the volume of the root, the weight of the fresh root, the weight of the fresh header, the weight of fresh brash and the bushy weight of the data plant that is obtained is analyzed using a variegated analysis at 5% error. If different is real then the analysis is carried out using the smallest real difference analysis at the point of error 5% to find out the difference between treatments. The conclusion of the study is 1) the production of cherry tomatoes in the lowlands USES the hydroponic system of drops affected only by varieties and 2) the Rojita is the best variety for harvesting cherry tomatoes using drip hydroponics compared with red ruby and Juliet.

Abstract

Rice is the staple food of Indonesian people. Kebumen is one of the regencies in Indonesia that produce 7.92 tons of rice ha-1. However, in the cultivation process, a farmer group in Kamulyan village named Suko Makmur faced many obstacles, including the brown planthopper. To reduce the resistance of the pest causing pest explosion, a preventive action called The Integrated Pest Management Farmer Field School was conducted (SL-PHT). The method of SL-PHT included sharing knowledge through counseling, training for the propagation of fungal isolates (Mettarhizium spp and Beauveria bassiana), and practicing integrated pest control. The results of this activity were that the farmers can understand the main point of agroecosystem management and sustainable land management. Moreover, the farmers capable of being independent in making bio-pesticide derived from Mettarhizium spp and Beauveria bassiana. The farmers also capable of pest management using bio-insecticide.
