Abstract

Guidance and counseling is an inseparable part of the education system. Likewise at Kaliwungu Elementary School which has implemented the Guidance and Counseling program. The Guidance and Counseling Program is implemented to direct and overcome problems experienced by students, both in academic and non-academic fields. These problems include lazy and slow in learning, undisciplined, fight, and so forth. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of guidance and counseling programs at  Kaliwungu elementary school. This method of research is a qualitative descriptive study with interview and observation technique. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the guidance and counseling program at Kaliwungu elementary school is carried out by the class teacher. The form of guidance given is individual guidance and group guidance. Individual counseling is an ecletive counseling by the teacher advising and directing students according to the problem. Group guidance in the form of remedial teaching and home room program

Abstract

Character building programs are being promoted at school. So that schools need to plan programs to support these character education program, one of which is through the 5S program. The purpose of this study is 1) to describe about 5S program, 2) describe the character developed by 5S. The results of this study are 1) 5S (Senyum, Sapa, Salam, Sopan, Santun) is a program that is implemented to develop character through habituation in the school environment by school residents, 2) the character developed through the 5S program is a religious character in which there is a value of love for peace, friendship, ethics.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah matematika dan menghitung besarnya sumbangan efektif kecerdasan emosional terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah matematika siswa kelas IV SDN se-Kecamatan Kebumen tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 1.400 siswa dengan jumlah sampel 332 siswa kelas IV SDN se-Kecamatan Kebumen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket dan tes, data dianalisis menggunakan bantuan aplikasi SPSS versi 21. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah matematika siswa kelas IV SDN se-Kecamatan Kebumen sebesar 13.2% dengan nilai Sig. 0,000 < 0,05, artinya semakin tinggi kecerdasan emosional siswa, maka akan semakin tinggi pula kemampuan memecahkan masalah matematika siswa, dan begitupun sebaliknya. Sumbangan efektif variabel kecerdasan emosional terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah matematika yaitu sebesar 13,2% dan sisanya sebesar 86,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.Kata kunci: kecerdasan emosional, kemampuan memecahkan masalah matematika
