Abstract

Learning media is a means of delivering subject matter that can channel messages, stimulate thoughts and feelings and a person's willingness to learn. This is where the need for education from an early age, which is based on Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, states that early childhood education is one of the coaching efforts aimed at children from birth to 6 years. Awareness of the importance of mastering foreign languages, especially English in the current information age, has led to efforts to learn these languages from an early age. Therefore, this study aims to provide an alternative solution in early childhood learning media using marker based augmented reality technology. Making this application using Unity and Vuforia. Development for this software uses the Waterfall method. By utilizing AR technology supported by animation, images and sounds can attract children's interest in learning. The results of the tests that have been carried out through black box testing and pre-test and post-test that have been carried out by the correspondent show the results that the percentage figure is 100% which can be concluded that all features can run well based on their functions. The results obtained during the pre-test get an average of 48 while the post-test results have increased by getting an average of 97.5 which shows that the alternative application of English learning media is fun and very suitable for use by users as an effective and efficient learning medium. and of course interesting

Abstract

The development of technology and information systems that are growing rapidly as it is today, requires everyone to continue to develop knowledge so as not to be out of date. The use of technology today can be used in all fields, such as education, security, health, and so on. Expert systems in the health sector are designed and made to imitate an expert who can facilitate the work of an expert in making decisions to solve problems. In a case study conducted at the Dadi Family Hospital, Purwokerto, data were obtained from patients with a diagnosis of rhinitis, the majority of whom did not know information about the symptoms and diseases. Rhinitis is an inflammatory disease or inflammation of the nasal mucosa that is triggered by certain allergens. The increasing number of ENT diseases, especially rhinitis, is not accompanied by the number of experts. In this case, it is necessary to conduct an analysis to speed up the diagnosis process by medical personnel. Based on the case study, an information system is needed that can be used by its users as a source of information as well as a more practical consultation media. In designing this system using PHP and MySQL with research datasets obtained from hospital medical records. For the development of the system using the waterfall method with the forward chaining method as a method of searching or drawing conclusions based on existing data or facts leading to conclusions. Then in testing the system using the black box as a feature functionality test, as well as testing the System Usability Scale (SUS) as a system feasibility test, and testing the accuracy of the expert system using the confusion matrix. Abstract

Website Information System Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL) Faculty of Informatics Telkom Institute of Technology Purwokerto is a website designed for students which has a function for the purposes of data collection in the implementation of PKl. But from the entire menu provided, there are some menus that can not be used optimally so it is questionable how the level of satisfaction from the website. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of user satisfaction and identify what factors are the constraints of users in using the website so as to know what suggestions are appropriate to be developed. This study uses the approach of EUCS (End User Computing Satisfaction) method which has 5 attributes, namely content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. The sample measurement conducted in this study using slovin formula with respondents of 86 students who have used the website PKL Faculty of Informatics. Respondents answers were measured using a likert scale with data that first measured the validity test and reliability test using SPSS software. Then the results obtained are the average value of the overall user was satisfied with obtaining an average satisfaction score of 3.5. Attribute content obtain an average value of 3.6 that is satisfied category, attribute accuracy obtain an average value of 4.2 that is very satisfied, attribute format obtain a number 3.4 that is satisfied, attribute ease of use obtain a number 3.4 that is satisfied, attribute timeliness obtain a number 3.4 that is satisfied

Abstract

The development of information technology in Indonesia is growing rapidly in various existing sectors, including the tourism sector. The tourism sector is a sector in the field of government that has a great opportunity to increase the country's foreign exchange. The Government of Pemalang Regency through the Tourism, Youth and Sports Office (DISPARPORA) of Pemalang Regency has implemented website-based information technology to disseminate information about tourism and culinary objects in Pemalang Regency. This study aims to evaluate and redesign the website from a front-end perspective. Completeness of website content is still the main problem on the Pemalang Regency Tourism website. The User Centered Design (UCD) method was used in developing the design in this study, while the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire was applied for evaluation. Evaluation was carried out twice to 96 respondents, where the first evaluation obtained an average SUS score of 67.43 and the second evaluation was 75.84. The results of this study proved that there was an increase in the average SUS score of 8.41, which means that the design improvements on the website can be well received by users

Abstract

This research aims to build an Android application that uses Augmented Reality (AR) technology as a learning aid about the Solar System. The teaching methods currently used in grade 6 are considered less effective by many students because they use only explanatory theory textbooks and few simple media for practice. Therefore, this AR application is designed to blend virtual objects with physical objects naturally through a computerized process, so that it looks as if the virtual object is actually in front of the user and looks real. The purpose of this research is to develop an AR application that can increase the effectiveness of Solar System learning by providing students with an immersive visual experience. The development method used in this study is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Application testing is carried out using Black Box Testing to ensure that all application features can run properly according to their functions. The pre-test results showed an average of 57, while the post-test results showed a significant increase with an average of 88. This shows that the use of AR applications in Solar System learning can significantly improve students' understanding. Thus, this AR application is considered an effective and efficient learning medium and is very interesting for users to use as a learning tool. The use of AR technology in learning can provide interactive and immersive learning experiences, increasing students' interest and understanding of the Solar System
