Abstract

LP3M UMY telah melaksanakan seminar nasional pengabdian masyarakat selama 3 tahun. LP3M belum memiliki aplikasi prosiding online, sehingga sampai saat ini artikel-artikel dari seminar nasional tersebut belum diupload di prosiding online. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan artikel yang diseminarkan tidak dapat diakses dan dirujuk. Solusi yang perlu dilakukan adalah pengembangan prosiding online untuk menampung artikel seminar nasional. Pelaksanaan kegiatan diawali dari analisa kebutuhan, dilanjutkan dengan pengembangan aplikasi prosiding online. Aplikasi dikembangkan dari software open source. Selanjutnya dilakukan upload semua artikel yang sudah pernah diseminarkan. Setelah artikel dapat terindeks oleh google scholar, dilakukan sosialisasi kepada dosen. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah adanya aplikasi prosiding online untuk menempatkan artikel dari seminar nasional abdimas. Abstract

Pengamatan visual unit kerusakan HD 785-7 Komatsu (pengamatan pola kerusakan), pengujian kekerasan, dan pengamatan mikro serta makro dilakukan untuk menemukan penyebab utama kerusakan turbocharge. Berdasarkan hasil pengamataan visual pada sisi intake turbocharge, pola kerusakan yang terjadi disebabkan keausan pada shaft turbocharge, dan masuknya partikel keras (asing). Hasil pengamatan visual sisi exhaust turbocharge menunjukkan bahwa terjadi kenaikan temperatur di atas standar. Bersesuaian dengan hasil pengamatan mikro bahwa sekitar retakan housing turbin menunjukkan oksidasi akibat temperatur tinggi. Temperatur yang terjadi pada sisi exhaust turbocharge berkisar di atas 700 °C. Selain itu, hasil pengamatan makro menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pola crazed di sekitar permukaan luar retakan housing turbine, yang disebabkan kenaikan temperatur kerja. Hasil pengujian kekerasan potongan melintang housing turbine menunjukkan bahwa komponen memiliki kehomogenitasan kekerasan (tidak cacat produksi) dengan angka kekerasan 7,3 HRC. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan pengujian tersebut, maka keausan shaft turbocharge dan masuknya partikel keras (asing) pada sisi intake berdampak terhadap retakan housing turbine dan kerusakan turbine pada sisi exhaust. Selain itu, tidak ditemukan adanya cacat bahan pada komponen yang menyebabkan kerusakan. Faktor pemeliharaan dan perawatan sangat berperan terhadap kerusakan yang terjadi pada komponen turbocharge.Kata kunci: turbocharge, keausan, partikel keras, temperatur tinggi

Abstract

The air conditioning (AC) system affects the performance, comfort and health of the vehicle operator/passenger. The increasing use of AC equipment in vehicles causes the need for skilled AC workers also increase. The absence of AC practice equipment in technical vocational schools causes the implementation of learning to be not optimal. Through the Community Service (PKM) activity of Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan (Poltekba) in 2020 an AC practice tool will be made, which will then be applied to service partners. The activity of manufacturing and assembling AC practical equipment is divided into three parts, manufacture and assembly of the frame, assembly of AC components, and electrical installations. The application of AC practice tools will improve the service partners learning facilities, especially in AC practice activities.

Abstract

Currently, the dominance of electricity in Indonesian providers comes from fossil energy which has the potential to increase the average temperature in various parts of the world or is called global warming. The contribution of the national renewable energy potential mix in 2016 ranging from 6.27%, then reaching 11.28% in 2020. The Government has made a long-term plan for the national renewable energy mix to reach 25% in 2025 and 31% in 2050. One of the renewable energy sources is wind energy, which is usually built on a large scale and is separated from settlements so that a long distribution network is required. Conversely, on a small scale, wind energy can be utilized with a simpler distribution network, this concept is called Small Wind Turbine. For a good wind turbine is designed according to the wind characteristics in real-time, so it is necessary to study wind mapping. This research was conducted as a prelude to observing wind characteristics in the form of mapping wind speed and direction in real-time in the northern part of Balikpapan City Region, using the Automatic Weather Station instrument which was carried out August 6 to September 26, 2022. Data processing in this study using the Weibull distribution method with Microsoft Excel. This study shows an average speed of 1.118 m/s in wind conditions with high wind variability with strong gusts, with a power density value of 1.157 Watts/m2. The wind direction tends to be east after the wind gusts are blocked by the building profile.
