Abstract

Abstract: Menangsi Customary Association in South Lampung. The research objective was to see the history of the Menangsi Customary Association in South Lampung. The method used is historical research methods. Based on research results, the establishment of Keratuan Menangsi began with the collapse of Keratuan Balaw in the middle of the XVI century. Because of this collapse, according to several records, evidence, and the existing legacy of the "Ratu Menangsi" Keratuan, it is estimated that it was around the end of the XVI century, approximately in 1594 in the Kalianda area ofSouth Lampung, which was centered in Way Andak / Batu Handak / Candi Taman. Keywords: keratuan, Custom of menangsi, south lampung.Abstrak:Keratuan Adat Menangsi Di Lampung Selatan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sejarah Keratuan Adat Menangsi di Lampung Selatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian historis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian berdirinya Keratuan Menangsi berawal dari runtuhnya Keratuan Balaw pada pertengahan abad XVI. Oleh karena keruntuhan ini, menurut beberapa catatan, bukti, dan peninggalan yang ada Keratuan “Ratu Menangsi” diperkirakan berdiri sekitar akhir abad ke- XVI kurang lebih pada tahun 1594 di wilayah Kalianda Lampung Selatanyang berpusat di Way Andak/ Batu Handak/ Candi Taman. Katakunci: keratuan, adat menangsi, lampung selatan.
