Abstract

Quality assurance is the process of establishing and meeting quality management standards consistently and sustainably, so that stakeholders get satisfaction. Quality management in education has a very important role to realize quality education and can be in line with international schools. The external quality assurance system aims to ensure the internal quality assurance system and the quality improvement process in the education unit can run well. While its function is to monitor, facilitate, evaluate the fulfillment of national standards in education units, evaluate and develop standards, and establish accreditation of educational units. The form or cycle of external quality assurance can be divided into three groups according to the focus of the task and its authority, namely: the facilitation cycle of quality improvement, the cycle of developing quality standards of primary and secondary education, the Accreditation Cycle of Education Units

Abstract

Libraries and wall magazines are some of the tools used by students to deepen their knowledge and hone their creativity. At the Miftahul Mubtadiin Ar-Ridlo Islamic Boarding School there is a library called Assalam Magazine. However, this library is still not perfect because in terms of facilities and infrastructure it is still inadequate. The state of the library and wall magazine has quite a lot of devotees, but there is a drawback, namely the limited space for reading and visiting. The purpose of this assistance is to empower the library through the management process and increase the reading interest of the students. The approach used is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), which is an approach by utilizing existing assets. As a result, the administrators of the library and wall magazines were able to increase their knowledge about the empowerment of libraries and wall magazines and how to overcome existing problems. After this program, they also began to add elements to the wall magazine, such as a wall magazine corner, the mading logo and have conducted a comparative study on the wall magazine, and the addition of a collection of books that will be carried out after the Maulud holiday.

Abstract

Landasan dan asas-asas ilmu pendidikan merupakan disiplin ilmu dan suatu usaha memperluas kesempatan belajar, serta usaha dalam pengadaan dan pembinaan guru dan tenaga pendidikan pada semua jalur, jenis dan jenjang agar mereka dapat melaksanakan tugasnya secara proporsional. Disisi lain, pada hakekat pendidikan adalah belajar, kelima pilar sebagaimana dijelaskan sebelumya, memiliki keterkaitan satu dengan lainnya. Learning to know mengajarkan seseorang untuk tidak mengetahui saja tetapi mereka juga harus tau makna yang terkandung didalamnya. Learning to do mengajarkan seseorang untuk lebih banyak melakukan tindakan daripada bicara. Sedangkan learning to be mangajarkan belajar untuk dapat mandiri dan menjadi orang yang burtanggung jawab. Learning to live menuntun seseorang untuk hidup bermasyarakat. Learning to believe in god mengajarkan seseorang untuk belajar kebaikan dan mempertanggungjawabkannya kepada Tuhan. Secara singkat, kesimpulan dari artikel ini adalah bahwa suatu pemahaman bahwa asas, landasan, pilar dan komponen pendidikan merupakan satu kesatuan yang saling terkait dan menjadi dasar utama dalam pendidakan. Hal-hal tersebut harus diupayakan secara maksimal untuk peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Beberapa hal pokok tersebut harus dirancang dan dilaksanakan dengan bagus dan dengan tujuan yang sangat bagus pula. Dengan demikian diharapkan nantinya pendidikan yang berlangsung dapat menjadi lebih baik
