Abstract

Everyone who performs manual handling will be at risk for injury. Injuries are not only caused by the heavy burden that is handled but the light and repetitive work can pose a risk of injury. This research analyses the cause of the work accident on manual handling which resulted in the amputation of the fingers of the hand on the metal manufacturing workers. Research is done qualitatively with case studies. The main informant is a worker who has the iron plate clamping to the injury of the hand and amputation. The supporting informant is the HSE officer of the industry. Data analysis through interactive models with data validation using source triangulation. The main cause of the work accident is because of the movements performed at the time of removal of the piece of iron plates that were performed along with the co-worker manually handling were not coordinated. His fellow informant lifts the plate without giving command, so that the finger position of the main informant is pinned. The injuries experienced by the informant are more severe because the pieces of iron plates that will be lifted are still contained the remaining rough and sharp pieces that are eventually amputated on one of the right hand fingers.

Abstract

Program suplementasi Fe bertujuan untuk mencegah dan menanggulangi anemia gizi besi serta menjadi salah satu intervensi spesifik dalam upaya percepatan penurunan stunting. Masyarakat nelayan masih percaya dalam kebiasaan makan dan perilaku tertentu untuk ibu hamil.Tujuan dari penelitian ini menggali persepsi ibu hamil dari masyarakat nelayan terhadap pemberian suplementasi Fe dengan pendekatan Health Belief Model. Metode Penelitan Menggunakan Kualitatif dengan Studi Kasus. Analisa data menggunakan Colaizzi. Wawancara mendalam pada 12 informan utama yaitu ibu hamil dengan suami bekerja sebagai nelayan dan informan pendukung yaitu 4 kader dan 2 bidan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tegal Barat yaitu di Tegal Sari dan Muarareja Pada Bulan Juni-Agustus 2023. Hasil Penelitian didapatkan 4 Tema yaitu Ketidakpahaman Pentingnya Suplementasi Fe, Ketidaknyamanan dan Efek Samping, Sikap dan Keyakinan, Peran Dukungan Sosial dan Faktor Ekonomi Keluarga. Kesimpulan persepsi yang buruk dan ketidakpahaman ibu dan keyakinan yang salah dalam suplementasi fe merupakan penyebab ibu tidak patuh dalam mengkonsumsi tablet Fe.

Abstract

Artikel ini menggambarkan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di SMAN 2 Slawi dengan fokus pada edukasi kesehatan reproduksi dan bahaya seks bebas. Pendahuluan menyoroti urgensi isu kesehatan reproduksi dalam kesejahteraan remaja di Indonesia. Metode pengabdian penjelasan materi edukasi kesehatan reproduksi dan bahaya seks bebes disertai Tanya jawab dan diskusi. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner pra-dan paska-edukasi serta observasi partisipatif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa tentang kesehatan reproduksi dan bahaya seks bebas. Sebelumnya, siswa memiliki pengetahuan terbatas, namun melalui edukasi komprehensif, pemahaman mereka meningkat secara nyata. Partisipasi aktif siswa dalam diskusi mencerminkan perubahan positif dalam sikap mereka terhadap isu-isu tersebut. Kesimpulan pendekatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Program edukasi ini tidak hanya memperluas pengetahuan siswa, tetapi juga merangsang perubahan sikap yang mendukung pencegahan risiko perilaku seks bebas. Dengan demikian, artikel ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan siswa SMAN 2 Slawi melalui upaya edukasi kesehatan reproduksi yang terencana dan berkelanjutan.
