<![CDATA[Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bahwa terdapat sekelompok manusia yang meneliti hadis Nabi dan berbeda pandangan terhadap mayoritas ulama hadis terkait hadis Nabi, di antara mereka ada yang berpandangan bahwa sunnah atau hadis sesungguhnya sebagian besar hadis tidak sahih, dia meragukan keaslian hadis sebagai sabda Nabi Muhammad sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, menurutnya hadis lebih hanya merupakan hasil dari interaksi berbagai aliran dan kencenderungan yang muncul balakangan di kalangan masyarakat Islam pada periode kematangannya. Mereka meneliti hadis disebabkan beberapa faktor dan tujuan di antaranya adalah agama, dan telah datang ulama'pada masa ini yaitu al-Siba’iy yang membantah beberapa argumen yang dinyatakan oleh orientalis.
