Abstract

The mosque is an important element for Muslims both in performing worship and muamalah activities so that it is undeniably a religious center. The mosque experienced the dynamics of significant development ranging from general geometric shapes to modern architectural styles. At-Taqwa Mosque has not been maximized as a house of worship because muhrim privacy is not well achieved, does not accommodate worshippers at large events, lacks other facilities. The management cooperates in the service activities to realize the documents of the design of the Taqwa Aursati mosque area. This activity is descriptive qualitative by collecting data through observation and interview. An activity approach is a bottom-up approach that is with the smoothing of the user's interests and desires. The result of this activity is to obtain documents designing the At-Taqwa mosque area by applying the concept of Islamic architecture. The design provides facilities based on zoning i.e. transition zones, mosque zones, and educational zones. This document is useful for the committee for the development of the At-Taqwa mosque as a guide in the implementation of the construction of the mosque.

Abstract

AbstrakDari kurun tahun 2019 dunia mengalami pandemic covid-19, virus covid-19 merucut ke Indonesia. Indonesia terkena dampak yang sangat besar dalam pertumbuhan virus covid-19 ini. Salah satunya yaitu kota Pekanbaru. Kota Pekanbaru merupakan kota yang teridikasi zona merah dalam berkurun waktu yang sangat lama sehingga menyebabkan kebudayaan itu bergeser. Contohnya seperti dulu kita mudah untuk berjabat tangan sehingga berkomunikasi bisa lebih nyaman kini bergeser menjadi bersosial distancing dengan unsur protokol kesehatan. Perilaku manusia kini menjadi berubah di karenakan pandemi virus covid-19 ini. Seperti pada pasar dimana masyarakat dulu mudah untuk berbelanja, bersentuhan atau kontak langsung dan juga tatap muka. Salah satu upaya mewujudkan kegiatan perdagangan dan jasa yang perlu dikembangkan yakni dengan merancang Trade Center. Trade center merupakan sebuah pusat bisnis perdagangan yang menyediakan fasilitas perdagangan dan jasa dengan menyatukan agen bisnis yang terlibat dalam perdagangan dan diharapkan dapat memicu perkembangan ekonomi di daerah pelayanan. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan Trade center yang aman dan nyaman terhadap lingkungan maka di terapkannya arsitektur Eco-tech yang memiliki teknologi berwawasan lingkungan. Prancangan Trade Center tanggap pandemic covid-19  ini berfokus pada desain yang menggunakan prinsip eco-tech, peraturan dan kebijakan pemerintah juga turut andil di dalam desain pada bangunan.Kata Kunci :Protokol kesehatan, Dampak Covid-19, Trade Center, Ecotech Arsitektur.

Abstract

The mosque is a place of worship for Muslims. Masjid means place of prostration, also called musholla or langgar. In addition to places of worship, the mosque is also the center of the life of the Muslim community. The Prophet's Mosque is the first permanent mosque founded by the Prophet which functions to accomodate Islamic worship activities and the application of Islamic teachings. The Prophet's Mosque then became a model for the construction of subsequent mosques around the world. The Syifaunnas Mosque has been around for a long time so it is necessary to renew the mosque's facade according to the wishes of the local community to support the facilities and infrastructure of religious activities that are moving quite quickly such as education and mass activities. The management cooperates in service activities to realize the design document for the Syifaunnas mosque area. This activity uses qualitative descriptive by collecting data through observation and interviews. The activity approach is a bottom-up approach, namely by tracing user interests and desires. The result of this activity is to obtain a design document for the Syifaunnas mosque area by applying the architectural facade concept of the Prophet's mosque. In the design of the division based on zoning, namely the transition zone, mosque zone, and support zone. This document is useful for the Syifaunnas mosque development committee as a guide in the implementation of mosque construction.

Abstract

Kampung Empat Balai is one of the old villages in Kuok District, Kampar Regency. The kampung comprises traditional Malay houses as cultural heritages that urge to preserve. The house has a unique roof shape and carvings pattern. However, the house is endangering due to a lack of maintenance. This research has aimed to identify the construction of houses that belong to the Bawi ethnic group people. A qualitative descriptive approach has been carried out to investigate and analyse this Malay house. This research found that the Bawi's house has a curving roof type which is known as part of the Lotiok roof type. This stilt house has a structural system in the form of a series of line elements with non-rigid joints that bind each other using notches and pegs as a connection system that is anticipated for earthquakes. Materially, this Bawi'House uses wooden-based materials throughout its construction systems, such as floors, walls, columns, girder beams and roof trusses.Malay house; traditional construction; lontiok roof; wooden-based materials

Abstract

Pematang Kapau is one of the villages in the Kulim District of Pekanbaru City, which experienced rapid population growth and urban development as a result of the Pekanbaru City Government's policy of moving the Pekanbaru City Government Center to Kulim District. Rapid development without being supported by adequate infrastructure will have a negative impact on urban areas. One of the things needed is educational facilities. Therefore, this activity helps the community, especially the Darunnur foundation in planning and designing educational facilities through Darunnur Mosque Foundation’s Integrated Islamic Elementary School Building Planning Assistance Program with a Contextual Architectural Approach. Contextual Architecture is a planning and design approach that considers the environment, culture, community character, history, so that the designed building has the characteristics of the form, as well as the quality of the building and the environment. The method used is descriptive qualitative, where the researcher is placed as the key instrument by combining field data with inductive analysis. This activity uses observation, discussion and design analysis methods. The results of this activity obtained the design of the Darunnur Mosque Foundation's Integrated Islamic Elementary School Building with a Contextual Architectural Approach.

Abstract

Pencak Silat martial art is a traditional sport that has been recognized globally as an intangible heritage of Indonesia that must be preserved and cherished. Pencak Silat is also a sport that achieves international levels of excellence, and it is quite popular in Siak Regency. Several athletes from Siak Regency have achieved numerous accomplishments in Pencak Silat, but until now, there is no dedicated Pencak Silat sports center to facilitate their training. To maintain the achievements in Pencak Silat in Siak Regency, a facility that meets the standard requirements of a Pencak Silat sports center is needed. The main facilities include the IPSI Siak Regency facility, the arena, the training facility, the athlete dormitory, and other supporting facilities. The design of the Pencak Silat Sports Center in Siak Regency is considered important and has good potential for development. The concept used in the design is bioclimatic architecture. Bioclimatic architecture is chosen because it can respond to thermal comfort and good lighting aspects, ensuring that users can comfortably engage in activities inside the building. The hope is that the establishment of a dedicated facility for Pencak Silat sports will improve performance and preserve the heritage of Pencak Silat.
