Abstract

The world is facing the Coronavirus Disease of 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic which has major implications for all sectors, namely education, economy, health and socio-politics. The government's effort to suppress the surge in Covid-19 infections and death rates in Indonesia is by implementing the Level 4 and 3 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) for the Java and Bali regions. These restrictions make it difficult for Indonesia to realize the 8th Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), namely decent work and economic growth, especially for the people of Banyu Urip Kidul. This is because these restrictions have an impact on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the food sector in Banyu Urip Kidul who do not use online media, one of which is GoFood. The method used in this community service is carried out based on the analysis of the results of observations and discussions with community members who live in Banyu Urip Kidul, Surabaya, East Java. Thus, the activity in the form of counseling about the use of GoFood media as a strategy for managing MSMEs during the pandemic was carried out with the aim that residents could expand their culinary businesses through GoFood. Meanwhile, this knowledge is new for residents so that residents are enthusiastic when participating in the counseling as evidenced by the various questions asked.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic affects all sectors of life. The government has made various efforts to respond to the impact of the pandemic, but the success of government efforts is determined by public perceptions. Communities have an important role in shaping collective behavior in responding to pandemic disasters, there are people who respond well to pandemic disasters and there are people who underestimate pandemic disasters. The formation of public perceptions is caused by the lack of knowledge about the pandemic and the virus itself, so it is necessary to form public perceptions about the Covid-19 pandemic through disaster risk management. This community service activity aims to provide understanding and public awareness as a preventive effort in shaping the public's perception of responding to the Covid-19 pandemic. This community service activity is carried out by means of socialization and training to the community in Suko Sewu District, Bojonegoro Regency. The results of the pre-test and post-test on the practical knowledge of the community showed an average increase of 85 percent. With these results, it can help the public in forming perceptions about the Covid-19 pandemic and can transmit these perceptions to the surrounding community. abstrakPandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada semua sektor kehidupan. Pemerintah telah melakukan berbagai upaya dalam merespons dampak pandemi tersebut akan tetapi keberhasilan upaya pemerintah ditentukan oleh persepsi masyarakat. Masyarakat memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk perilaku kolektif dalam merespons bencana pandemi, terdapat masyarakat yang menyikapi bencana pandemi dengan baik dan terdapat masyarakat yang menganggap remeh bencana pandemi. Pembentukan persepsi masyarakat disebabkan oleh minimnya pengetahuan mengenai pandemi maupun virus itu sendiri sehingga perlu untuk membentuk persepsi masyarakat mengenai pandemi Covid-19 melalui disaster risk management. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat sebagai upaya preventif dalam membentuk persepsi masyarakat merespons pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan cara sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat di Kecamatan Suko Sewu Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Hasil pre-test dan post-test terhadap pengetahuan praktis masyarakat menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 85 persen. Dengan hasil ini dapat membantu masyarakat dalam membentuk persepsi mengenai pandemi Covid-19 dan dapat menularkan persepsi tersebut kepada masyarakat sekitar.

Abstract

Leuit is a grain bin and has a function to store the community’s rice grains of Suka Puyuh Village. This research aims to describe the preservation effort of Leuit in Suka Puyuh Village. Leuit has been preserved through family trait, Leuit reactivation program, and exploiting ruwat lembur tradition as the mechanism. The villagers’ attempts to preserve the Leuit intrigued the researcher to conduct further research concerning the existence of the Leuit in Suka Puyuh Village. This research is an ethnographic research along with employing a descriptive method and qualitative approach. Further, the technique of data collection uses observation methods and depth interviews. The obtained data are analyzed using Wilbert E. Moore’s Social Change theory. The results of this study indicate that Leuit in Kampung Suka Puyu’s community life has undergone a shift because of the change of social structure. Development of the agricultural system from simple to a more advanced and varied level has an impact on the shift of farming system to gardening system.

Abstract

COVID-19 adalah jenis penyakit baru yang disebabkan oleh infeksi Virus Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV-2) yang pertama kali ditemukan di Wuhan, China tahun 2019. Virus ini telah meginfeksi jutaan orang dan menyebabkan angka kematian yang tinggi di seluruh dunia. Anak- anak termasuk siswa SDN Tobungan I juga merupakan kelompok yang rentan terhadap penularan COVID-19. Kegiatan pengabdian bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada siswa kelas V SDN Tobungan I mengenai cuci tangan pakai sabun (CTPS) dengan baik dan benar dalam pencegahan penularan COVID-19. Metode yang digunakan adalah edukasi yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, dan demonstrasi. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah poster. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar kuesioner untuk mengetahui pengetahuan peserta sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa edukasi yang diberikan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa terhadap cuci tangan pakai sabun (CTPS) dengan baik dan benar dalam pencegahan penularan COVID-19. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari persentase pengetahuan peserta sebelum diberikan edukasi yaitu sebesar 67,75% yang kemudian meningkat menjadi 80,25% setelah diberikan edukasi.
