Abstract

Gedung Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani (Unjani) merupakan gedung perkuliahan yang berada di lingkungan kampus Unjani dan belum memiliki instalasi sistem jaringan indoor. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan level sinyal yang terukur di dalam gedung memiliki nilai RSRP lebih kecil dari -110 dBm. Level sinyal tersebut termasuk dalam kategori kualitas sinyal 4G yang kurang baik. Selain itu faktor lain yang menyebabkan pelemahan sinyal ialah material dan konstruksi bangunan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, agar user pada gedung tersebut dapat terlayani dengan baik, solusi yang dilakukan adalah melakukan perencanaan jaringan Indoor Building Coverage (IBC) 4G. Berdasarkan perhitungan coverage planning jumlah antena yang diperlukan dalam perencanaan sebanyak 14 antena yaitu lantai 1 dan 4 masing-masing sebanyak 3 antena, lantai 2 dan 3 masing-masing sebanyak 4 antena. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi pada software RPS diperoleh persentase nilai rata-rata nilai RSRP >-90 dBm sebesar 89,93 % dan persentase rata-rata nilai SINR >3 dB sebesar 87,95 %. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi tersebut didapatkan bahwa hasil perencanaan yang telah dibuat telah memenuhi standar operator dan dapat diterapkan untuk memperbaiki coverage dan meningkatkan level sinyal di Gedung Fakultas Psikologi Unjani.

Abstract

The use of internet networks in human life has become one of the needs in various fields, both offices, government agencies, schools, public services, and others. PT. Cilsy Fiolution Indonesia as one of the startups engaged in the field of information and technology education (Edu-Tech) is very active in the use of the internet, including content creation, uploading videos, office operations, programming, and others. With the limited bandwidth resources available at the office of PT Cilsy Fiolution Indonesia, and with a significant number of active users, it is not uncommon for uneven bandwidth distribution among employees who use internet access, causing problems in working. MikroTik Routerboard is a brand of router devices that has many features. By utilizing the queue tree feature on the MikroTik Router device, bandwidth settings at PT Cilsy Fiolution Indonesia can be based on the port and application protocols commonly used, including HTTP, HTTPS, ICMP, DNS, video streaming, and downloading several types of file extensions. This bandwidth management arrangement aims to equalize the distribution of bandwidth and provide good quality of service for all internet users in the office network of PT Cilsy Fiolution Indonesia.
