The Book of Ṣirāṭ al-Mustaqīm by Nūr al-Dīn al-Rānirī and the Development of Taṣawwuf in Lombok Abdul Quddus

Abstract

Al-Rānirī is the first modern Sufi figure among the Malay Muslims in the 17th century. Ṣirāṭ al-Mustaqīm is his popular book that features Sufism in the archipelago. This study looks into the influence of the book on the development of Sufism in the island of Lombok. Based on the combination of anthropological-phenomenological and textual method, this study shows that al-Rānirī emphasizes in his work Ṣirāṭ al-Mustaqīm emphasized on the importance of fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) on the practice of taṣawwuf as a response to the doctrines of wujūdiyya burgeoning among the Muslims in Aceh. The manuscript was written in Arabic, Malay, and Jawi in the 16th and the 17th century and spread along with the arrival of merchants to the Sasaknese who travelled from Lombok to Palembang and Aceh. This work has added robust fiqh features over the practices of tariqa (Sufi order) in the island of Lombok. The teachings of Tariqa Qādiriya- Naqsyabandiyya in the island regularly studied the contents of the book, from which they learnt about wuḍū’ (Ablution) and ṣalāh (praying), which are strengthened from the perspective of taṣawwuf by drawing on the nine elements of human soul formation. This is what the prominent Islamic figures in Lombok perceive as a way of ma’rifa (knowing God) through sharia rituals.

Problems environment life rooted from crisis understanding man to nature, thus, of course be a challenge for Islamic education system is currently in develop the institution. By therefore, effort is required concrete to adapt the situation with need era. With education Islam from perspective conservation environment is a theoretical and practical solution as an effort capable of changing understanding and awareness of management environment life become more Good. The purpose of this research is For know how draft conservation environment in the cottage Boarding school Darumuhyiddin NW Debok Subdistrict Terra East Lombok District and Want know how effort conservation environment in the cottage Boarding school Darumuhyiddin NW Debok Subdistrict Terra East Lombok Regency . Research type Which used is field research with a qualitative approach, where this researcher try describe the research subject. Method collection data use method observation, interview and documentation . The concept of environmental conservation based on Sufism values at the Darumuhyiddin Islamic Boarding School, NW Debok, is the concept of al zuhd, the concept of al hub, and the concept of fikr and dzikr. debok in the form of an environmental care curriculum/eco boarding school program and a hidden curriculum/hidden curriculum. Both tree planting and waste management, Darumuhyiddin Islamic boarding school terminology of environmentalism in an effort to protect and preserve the environment so that it is sustainable. The third is the thrifty behavior of the community in the Islamic boarding school environment. The behavior of the residents of the Islamic boarding school as a result of environmental conservation education activities can occur in students who have graduated (alumni).

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pembelajaran Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) melalui pembelajaran online pada program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) PAI di LPTK UIN Mataram. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskripstif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Temuan penelitian ini bahwa implementasi pembelajaran online melalui TPACK di LPTK UIN Mataram dengan 58 Orang mahasiswa dari 7 propinsi telah berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi guru seperti kompetensi manajemen kelas online, download dan baca modul, baca materi dengan file format pdf, powerpoint, menonton video pembelajaran, kemudian resume dan upload tugas, aktif dalam diskusi online dan mengikuti ujian online dalam bentuk pretest, tugas formatif, tugas sumatif, dan tugas akhir modul online. Mahasiswa PPG PAI UIN Mataram lulus Uji Kompetensi Nasional 99% untuk Uji Kinerja (Ukin) dan 68.42 % untuk Uji Pengetahuan (UP). Abstract This study aims to analyze the implementation of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) learning through online learning in the PAI Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program at LPTK UIN Mataram. The research method used a qualitative descriptive case study approach. The findings of this study are that the implementation of online learning through TPACK at LPTK UIN Mataram with 58 students from 7 provinces has succeeded in increasing teacher competencies such as online class management competencies, downloading and reading modules, reading material with pdf format files, powerpoints, watching learning videos, then resume and upload assignments, be active in online discussions and take online exams in the form of pretests, formative, summative, and final exam based on online modules. Students of PPG PAI UIN Mataram finished the 99% National Competency Test for Performance Test (Ukin) and 68.42% for Knowledge Test (UP).

Abstract

This paper examined the ecological concept and its implication at Nurul Haramain NW Lombok Islamic boarding school in response to the world climate crisis. Boarding schools have the potentials to bridge the environmental conservation initiative amid the secular science phenomena. This study employed a descriptive-explorative approach using a qualitative methodology. Thus, theoretically, this study was anchored in Mary Evelyn Tucker and Vasudha Narayan's theories of eco-theology in addressing the climate crisis. The findings showed that Nurul Haramain NW Lombok Islamic boarding school had implemented a sustainable lifestyle based on the ecological values in the Al-Quran and Hadith, in which Tuan Guru as the environmental conservation foreman.
