Abstract

Mining industry has the closed relation which is not separated from some types of company. Those service company are very important for mining activities. The support company is a company who give service for making the mining activities run well. Research or analysis service for solid or water mineral content is one of the support companies as state above. The purpose of this research is to know the often damage of spare parts of Boyd Crusher as one of main equipment of service company above. In this case, the coefficient value of the form and the time parameter must be known by using Weibull distribution, so that the maintenance method can be decided by applicating preventive maintenance concept. This research is done by using quantitative – qualitative method which based data around 1 year and the result is found that the Cylindrical Roller Bearing is the highest damage component. This finding is continued to be analysed by using fish bone diagram to know the main factor of those damages and the result is the less of routine lubrication and Lubricant excessive quantity for that component part where this part is made from metal material that has high friction.

Abstract

Safety and health in workplace is one of the main issues that must be considered in running company’s activities with the humanity, economic and regulation reason. By those reasons the companies will be motivated to make a safe work environment. Beside as a compliment to above reasons, the commitment, and a proof of zero lost time injury (LTI) will strengthen business competitiveness, because some work agreements among companies have been based on the requirement of work health and safety system application (SMK3). Generally, many ways in getting SMK3 good work performance, for example the application of stop work authority (SWA) if the activities have a potential hazard, safety card if there is a potential hazard in working area, Job safety observation and the others. This research takes the application of SWA and its influence on the amount of first aid case. According to Frank Bird’s theory which is known as accident pyramid, the more near miss happened, the more first aid cases, facilities damages, and fatalities. Stop work authority is hoped to minimize or to eliminate the first aid case so that no lost time injury.

Abstract

Kelancaran operasional dalam menjalankan kegiatannya adalah harapan semua perusahaan, untuk merealisasikan harapan tersebut, pengelolaan yang efektif dan efisien disemua bidang dalam perusahaan yang bersangkutan menjadi prioritas yang harus didapatkan dan Penilaian kinerja dari semua bidang tersebut apakah sudah berjalan secara efisien dan efektif tidaklah mudah karena harus ada kriteria penilaian yang dapat diukur. Secara umum, masih banyak individu dengan memberikan penilaian dengan sangat mudah, sebagai contoh kinerja bagian A, mereka katakan sangat baik tetapi acuan dalam memberikan penilaian tidak dapat dijelaskan sehingga penilaian tersebut bersifat subjektif yang seharusnya penilaian tersebut harus dinilai dengan mengukur Parameter yang sudah ditentukan. Demikian halnya dalam menentukan target objektif atau Key Performance Indicator (KPI). Ketika membuat target yang ingin dicapai, harus dipikirkan cara mengukur ketercapaian target tersebut sehingga dapat dievaluasi apakah target tersebut bisa diperoleh atau tidak. Dalam menilai kinerja dari bagian pemeliharaan fasilitas dalam perusahaan bisa dilakukan dari banyak sisi termasuk dari sisi Downtime atau durasi waktu tidak beroperasi akibat dari kerusakan yang tidak terduga maupun terduga dan waktu melakukan perawatan pencegahan.
