Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the factors that influence the use of social media in micro, small and medium enterprises. By using a mixed qualitative and quantitative approach, the study examines the influence of factors based on the TOE (Technology-Organization-Environment) Framework theory. The data collection process was carried out by means of interviews and questionnaires distributed online. From the quantitative analysis conducted on 100 samples using multiple linear regression techniques, it is known simultaneously that the factors in the context of the TOE Framework have a significant effect on the use of social media in MSMEs. In the context of technology, the factors that have a significant effect on the use of social media are the interactivity of social media and the suitability of the technology that has been previously owned. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS 25. The results of the study concluded that the suitability factor, inter-activity and entrepreneurial orientation had a significant effect on the use of social media in MSMEs.

Abstract

The area and production of oil palm in West Aceh continues to experience a significant increase, because along with the expansion of oil palm plantations in the local area, it is very influential on employment and improving the economy of the community. This study aims to group the results of oil palm production and planted area by applying the data mining technique method with the K-Means Clustering algorithm. The data used in this study in the form of area and palm oil production results were obtained from the West Aceh catalog (BAPPEDA) and the Central Statistics Agency from 2005 to 2020 in 12 sub-districts of West Aceh Regency. The results of the study showed that the high cluster (cluster 1) contained 1 sub-district, namely Kaway XVI, the medium cluster (cluster 0) there were 7 sub-districts namely Bubon, Johan Pahlawan, Panten Reu, Samatiga, Sungai Mas, Woyla Barat, and Woyla Barat, while the cluster low (cluster 2), there are 4 sub-districts, namely Arongan Lambalek, Meureubo, Pante Ceureumen, and Woyla.

Abstract

Every company that wants to continue to grow and wants to progress, the first thing that needs to be improved is the quality of its human resources. And one way to assess the quality of human resources in the company can be seen from the performance appraisal of employees. The object of this research was conducted at PT. xyz. The research method used in this study is the SMART method (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique), because the smart method can solve the problem of making choices that are multi-criteria and with simple analysis compared to other decision-making methods. This performance appraisal system is designed using PHP and MySQ. The method used in system development is the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) method and uses Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. The results achieved in the form of a decision support system in determining the best employees at PT.XYZ.

Abstract

Diseases are classified into different types based on the symptoms, causes, and disturbances they cause to the human body. Among the disease categories that have a wide range of sub-specialties and branches is internal medicine. Early disease detection is difficult because many diseases exhibit similar symptoms. To diagnose the disease, medical specialists will conduct a series of physical and laboratory tests. However, before going to the doctor, the patient should learn about the disease and begin treatment so that it does not worsen and become dangerous. As a result, we require a system that can assist patients in receiving information and detecting their disease early. An expert system was developed in this study to help people obtain complete and precise information about their disease. It is hoped that by using this system, people will be able to obtain preliminary information before visiting a doctor, thereby reducing the risk. An expert system is a type of artificial intelligence application that is a computer program designed on knowledge and rules that could act similarly to or as well as an expert. Expert systems must be able to function in the presence of uncertainty. A number of theories have been developed to deal with uncertainties, one of which is the certainty factor method, which is ideal for analyzing uncertain data. This technique provides a solution by calculating the values of certainty and uncertainty. This study concentrated on three types of internal medicine and 27 symptoms to be diagnosed; the end result was a diagnosis of the type of internal medicine encountered and the percentage of confidence, along with treatment recommendations.

Abstract

Pengenalan wajah seseorang biasanya hal yang mudah dilakukan oleh manusia. Akan tetapi, bagaimana jika yang melakukannya sebuah sistem, tentu tidak semudah yang dilakukan oleh manusia. Apalagi pada masa sekarang ini sistem pengolahan data berbasis pengenalan citra wajah secara otomatis telah berkembang pesat, hal tersebut karena tingginya permintaan untuk sistem identifikasi pada instansi atau institusi tertentu untuk mencari data melalui pengenalan wajah agar lebih cepat. Peneliti merancang dan mengimplementasikan aplikasi pengenalan wajah agar dapat digunakan pada instansi atau suatu kelompok yang bersifat rahasia untuk kepentingan mencari data seseorang menggunakan metode Eigenface dengan algoritma Principal Component Analysis (PCA) pada sistem pengenalan wajah. Jumlah citra wajah yang digunakan sebanyak 52 citra. Selanjutnya citra tersebut dilakukan pra-proses untuk mengambil pola wajahnya saja, lalu normalisasi dengan PCA yang selanjutnya mengambil nilai egenface dari hasil PCA untuk digunakan saat pelatihan dan pengujian pengenalan wajah. Pada percobaan pertama menggunakan 3 (tiga) sampel pada setiap 1 (satu) sampel terdiri dari 10 foto wajah. Hasil pengujian diperoleh bahwa percobaan pertama mendapatkan keakurasian 93,33%.

Abstract

Tanaman jagung rentan terhadap serangan penyakit dimana penyakit ini dapat diketahui dari bercak yang terdapat pada daun. Penyakit daun tersebut dapat mengakibatkan turunnya kualitas dan kuantitas hasil panen. Tantangan utama dalam deteksi dini penyakit daun jagung secara manual yaitu ada banyak daun yang harus diidentifikasi dan terdapat perbedaan presepsi terhadap warna pada mata manusia berdasarkan kondisi visualnya.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan deteksi dini dan klasifikasi penyakit daun jagung. Klasifikasi dilakukan melalui pendekatan metode Support Vector Machine (SVM) dengan memanfaatkan fitur warna dan fitur tekstur. Jumlah fitur yang digunakan yaitu 22 fitur yang terdiri dari 18 fitur warna dan 4 fitur tekstur. Data latih yang digunakan yaitu data sekunder yang diambil dari PlantVillage-Dataset dengan jumlah data sebanyak 3600 data. Eksperimen dilakukan dengan beberapa variasi fitur seperti hanya fitur warna, hanya fitur tekstur dan fitur gabungan warna dan tekstur dengan pembagian data 80:20, 70:30 dan 60:40. Pada setiap variasi fitur dan pembagian data lalu dihitung parameter evaluasi model. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan akurasi optimum sebesar 99,5% dengan fitur gabungan warna & tekstur

Abstract

Nutmeg is one of the most popular export commodities in the world. Starting from seeds, mace, and nutmeg oil, they are targeted in the pharmaceutical, perfume and cosmetic industries as well as the food and beverage industry. However, it is still rare for nutmeg skin to be used and processed into a product of economic value. In society, a lot of nutmeg meat is thrown away and becomes waste. The IKM empowerment program at the Nutmeg IKM center aims to develop the knowledge and skills of nutmeg business actors in the South Aceh IKM Center to process nutmeg waste into value-added food products. This program promotes the manufacture of dodol made from nutmeg or called Dodol Pala. The program implementation method is divided into three stages: (1) Preparation, designing activities and coordinating with the South Aceh Nutmeg IKM Sentra UPTD; (2) Implementation of guidance, namely developing the knowledge of business actors about processed products made from nutmeg and (3) Training and mentoring, training activities with direct practice of making nutmeg dodol. Assistance is focused on making product packaging and marketing. This training involved various parties, including members of the Teuku Umar University Higher Education, South Aceh Nutmeg IKM Sentra UPTD, nutmeg business actors (IKM), and students. The achievement of this activity, the participants succeeded in developing knowledge about the benefits of nutmeg assessed from their participation during the three days following the activity. In addition, the participants also succeeded in making good quality nutmeg dodol. This activity is expected to be a motivation for nutmeg business actors in South Aceh district to implement their knowledge after this activity.

Abstract

Pengelolaan aset yang baik merupakan satu diantara beberapa faktor yang dapat mendukung sebuah perusahaan maupun instansi dapat mencapai tujuannya. Kantor Kecamatan Natar dalam pengelolaan asetnya dilakukan dengan melakukan pencatatan di komputer dengan menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel. Hal ini tentunya terdapat beberapa kendala diantaranya pencatatan untuk masing-masing jenis aset dibuat dalam beberapa file sehingga perlu mencari file tersebut jika dibutuhkan secara mendadak. Selain itu dengan cara seperti ini tidak terdokumentasi dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengembangan sistem pengelolaan inventaris aset kantor dengan menerapkan pendekatan pengembangan sistem Extreme Programming (XP). Metode ini merupakan pendekatan yang dapat menghasilkan perangkat lunak dengan waktu yang singkat. Pada hasil uji dengan usability menghasilkan rata-rata penilaian sebesar 89%, dimana hasil tersebut tergolong pada kriteria baik. Ini artinya, sistem yang dibangun dapat dikatakan layak untuk diterapkan.

Abstract

Jurnal Teknologi Informasi (JTIf) dalam pengelolaan media publikasi jurnal ilmiah masih perlu adanya pengembangan dari segi tampilan media publikasi itu sendiri, serta web jurnalnnya masih ada yang belum sesuai dengan standar Open Journal System (OJS). Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komuniasi, internet menjadi salah satu faktor utama pendorong perkembangan website Jurnal sebagai media publikasi artikel ilmiah. Website jurnal tentu saja dapat diakses melalui jaringan elektronik yang mana jaringan ini merupakan kumpulan jaringan-jaringan yang menghubungkan komputer di seluruh dunia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan pengembangan website jurnal JTIf yang sesuai dengan standar Open Journal System (OJS). Hasil yang telah dicapai dari pengembangan adalah website jurnal ilmiah sudah berstandar OJS dalam bentuk web portal jurnal ilmiah dalam bidang Teknologi informasi yang memiliki beberapa fitur seperti manajemen jurnal dan manajemen editor dan reviewer, menu sidebar, dan poster pengguuuna. Kesimpulan dari pengembangan website jurnal JTIf dapat membantu pihak pengelola web portal dalam melakukan pengelolaan jurnal yang akan dipublikasikan.

Abstract

Dayah Istiqamatuddin Raudhatul Mu'arrif is a traditional Islamic school/ dayah salafi located at Hamlet Alue Seuneuhi, Gampong Neuheun, Grand Mosque districts, Aceh Besar. Administrative process and management of students and educators data of the Islamic school of Istiqamatuddin Raudhatul Mu'arrif still use the manual method by relying on the master book. The use of computers for dayah administration is still not maximized, depending only on Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel applications. Therefore, when the data is needed cannot be obtained in a fast time. The system was built to help recap student and teacher data more efficiently to minimize errors in report generation. It is designed and built using the Laravel framework so that the structure of the codes becomes neater and safer from external attacks. In addition, the MySQL query language is used for database access and management. The results obtained are an information system application that can display the complete profile of Dayah Istiqamatuddin Raudhatul Mu'arrif and monitor the administration management. Furthermore, it can be printed and downloaded by the administrative manager
