Abstract

The number of child marriages or early marriages in NTB Province in 2019 was 332 cases and actually increased significantly in 2020 to 806 cases. With the number of cases of early marriage in Central Lombok district as many as 33 cases in 2019 and almost 5-fold increase in 2020 to 148 cases. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the lecture and leaflet methods on students' knowledge of child marriage at SMP 3 Janapria. This study used a quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental research design with a non-equivalent control group design, with a sample of all 3rd grade students of SMP N Janapria. This study revealed that there was effectiveness of the lecture method on adolescent knowledge about child marriage at SMP N 3 Janapria with a p value of 0.000 <0.05. There is an effectiveness of the leaflet method on adolescents' knowledge about child marriage at SMP N 3 Janapria with a p value of 0.000 <0.05. There is a difference in effectiveness between the lecture method and the leaflet method on adolescent knowledge about child marriage at SMP N 3 Janapria.
