Abstract

This research was aimed to know the correlation between students learning interest and motivation in speaking at the second student of SMPN 02 Keruak. This research was correlation research with person product moment used quantitative approach. The population of the research was the second grade students of SMPN 02 Keruak. Which consists of five classes. Total sample random sampling technique is used to take the sample of this research because the researcher takes one class. There were 30 students at second grade student of SMPN 02 Keruak as the sample. The data was collated by using questionnaire were analyzed by person product moment, linier regression, and t-test. From the data analysis, the results of the study to indicate that the independent variables of learning interest have positive influence whit motivation to encourage speaking ability in the second grade of SMPN 02 Keruak. Based on the results of the Pearson product moment correlation test (r test), learning interest has a correlation with motivation in encouraging students' speaking ability, which is indicated by a significance value below 0.05, which means that it is significant and based on the results of the t-test results of the variable learning. Motivation to encourage speaking ability obtained test results of 2,313 1,701).the researchers came to conclusion that the hypothesis set is Accepted (Ha). From the result of data analysis above, the researchers concluded that Learning Interest has a significant effect both partial on the motivation to speaking.

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the significant effect of CLL (Community Language Learning) towards the second grade students’ speaking skill. This research was experimental reseacrh by using pre-test and post-test design. The population of study was at second grade at SMAS NW Mataram in which consist of 3 classes. The researcher used random sampling technique to take the sample of this research. Classes were chosen as the sample were B class as experimental group consisted 14 students and A class as control group consisted of 13 students. Exprimental group was treated by using CLL (Community Language Learning) and control group was treated by science fiction strategy. The instrument that were used speaking test. Then, the score were analyzed by using statistical analysis. It showed the value of t (t-test) = 23,4  was higher than the value of (t table) = 1.711 at the significance level of 5%. Therefore, according to the result of the analysis, so that the researcher concluded that there is positive effect of CLL (Community Language Learning) towadrs the students’ speaking skill at second grade students of SMAS NW Mataram.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the Personality of Ayyas in Bumi Cinta novel by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The method applied in this research was qualitative method. The object of this research was the personality of Ayyas’ character in Bumi Cinta novel by Habiburrahman El Shirazy through psychology review. The technique used in collecting the data was library research. The process of data analysis was data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The result of this study was found out that the personality of Ayyas was more dominant influenced by the superego. Based on the result of the study, it could be concluded that the personality of Ayyas influenced by the superego seems when Ayyas defended himself in the sanctity and his faith in the midst of the storms of free life country, having a firm belief and faith to God, Ayyas remained confident and believe in the grace of God to His people. Although there were some people who did not acknowledge the existence of God, Ayyas was always cling to the obligations of religion, implementing everything that God approves, and stay away from all His prohibitions, and reluctant to commit  sin and sinners, willing to sacrifice for the sake of religion and give helping.
