Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan penalaran dan komunikasi matematis siswa melalui Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Jigsaw. Sumber penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Mananggu Kabupaten Boalemo tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Jumlah siswa 30 siswa yang terdiri dari 16 laki-laki dan 14 perempuan yang memiliki kemampuan rata-rata kemampuan penalaran matematis sedang 54,8% sampai 63%, dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis 33,34% sampai 73,34%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran dan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi dua dimensi. Hasil analisis juga menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I, hanya 19 siswa dari 30 siswa yang ketuntasan belajarnya atau 63,33% pada kemampuan penalaran matematis, dan 20 siswa yang ketuntasan belajarnya atau 66,67% pada kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Pada siklus II, kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa cenderung meningkat menjadi 20%, dengan hasil jumlah siswa yang ketuntasan belajar menjadi 25 siswa atau 83,33%. Sedangkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa cenderung meningkat menjadi 20%, dengan hasil jumlah siswa yang tuntas belajar menjadi 26 siswa atau 86,67%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka hipotesis tindakan “jika pada materi dua dimensi di kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Mananggu dilakukan dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Jigsaw, maka kemampuan penalaran dan komunikasi matematis siswa akan berkembang” dikatakan diterima.

Abstract

This article is a quantitative study with a survey method that aims to find out and describe (1) the effect of learning motivation on science learning achievement; (2) the effect of anxiety level on science learning achievement; and (3) the effect of jointly learning motivation and anxiety levels on the learning achievement of Natural Sciences. This research was conducted at MTs Negeri 2 Konawe Selatan, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The validity of the instrument uses the Product Moment formula and the reliability of the instrument uses the Cronbach Alpha formula. Data analysis techniques used include the first and second hypothesis testing with simple regression analysis and the third hypothesis test with multiple regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) there was a positive and significant influence between learning motivation on science learning achievement, proved Fcount = 6.59 and Ftable = 4.034; (2) there is a positive and significant influence between the level of anxiety on the learning achievement of science proven Fcount = 4.967 and Ftable = 4.034; (3) there is a positive and significant influence together learning motivation and anxiety level on the learning achievement of science proven Fcount = 3.301> Ftable = 3.187. The coefficient of determination rsquare (R2) of 0.088 shows the magnitude of the effective contribution together at 8.8% and there are still 91.2% which is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.Keywords: Learning Motivation, Anxiety Level, Science Learning Achievement.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the process of implementing physics learning, what factors cause teacher teaching difficulties and solutions to the teacher's difficulties. This research was conducted at MAN 1 Konsel with 3 physics teachers as informants who used descriptive methods through a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data collection, data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. From the results of the study, it was found that at the time of implementation of learning, it was found that all teachers had quite a difficulty in developing teaching materials. There are 4 factors that influence the difficulty of teachers in teaching physics, namely the low basic mathematical ability of students, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, the learning methods used by schools are less varied and innovative, and the time allocation is still lacking in achieving learning objectives. So the solution to answer the difficulties they are experiencing is that the teacher must involve students with good mathematical abilities to help their friends, using simple laboratory tools that the teacher can make themselves by using used materials or by using virtual laboratories, the teacher must also combine various methods and techniques. Innovative learning model, strives to maximize the available time allocation.
