Abstract

Tourist satisfaction in a tourist destination can be created with an optimal service system and improving the quality of tourist destination attractiveness. In addition, it is also necessarygood skills that must be possessed by tour guides in carrying out their duties to provide good and correct information regarding tourist destinations or the surrounding area to be conveyed to tourists. This study aims to evaluate the quality of the Tour Guide in Fort Marlborough in Bengkulu city. The influence of the quality of the Tour Guide on the Fort Marlborough tourist destination in the city of Bengkulu has an impact on tourist satisfaction. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method which is carried out by means of in-depth interviews, participatory observation, documentary materials, and new methods through the study of materials on the internet. The analysis technique used is a fishbone diagram which is used in the process of identifying a problem and determining its cause. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is found that the lack of Tour Guide is in accordance with the theory of Huang et (2015): professional competence, interpersonal skills and organization, empathy and problem solving. The advice given is that it is hoped that Tour Guides who join the MTG (Manada Tour Guide) must pay attention to the Tour Guide's knowledge of tourist objects and the skills of the Tour Guide. Developments that can be done include doing in-depth problem solving, as well as 5 other factors that must be owned by the Tour Guide to improve service quality performance, namely professionalism, competence, interpersonal skills and organization, empathy and problem solving.Keywords: Guide Effect; Tourist Satisfaction; Fort Marlborough Bengkulu

Abstract

The concept of sustainable tourism is one of the best concepts developed by the government and tourism stakeholders to be applied in every tourist destination. The Covid-19 pandemic has forced tourism activists to work together to revive the economy in the tourism sector. Through the development of the concept of Sustainable Tourism, the manager of the Nglanggeran tourism village has made several efforts to strengthen the value of local wisdom from the beginning of its establishment, however, with the many competitors and the rapid development of tourism, the manager of the Nglanggeran tourist village has always innovated and strengthened local wisdom. With a case study analysis approach, it is hoped that it will describe some of the efforts made by the management regarding the strategy of strengthening the value of sustainable local wisdom from various aspects, namely environmental aspects, economic aspects, social aspects and cultural aspects.Keywords: Sustainable Tourism, Local Wisdom, Nglanggeran Tourism Village

Abstract

Batik as Indonesia's highly valuable artistic and cultural heritage, is an asset that needs to be maintained for its sustainability. The existence of batik has been documented since ancient times and is now experiencing developments in accordance with changing times. Batik is not only a work of art, but also the result of a synthesis between art and technology, as can be seen from the variety of motifs and colors used. The process of making batik reflects the uniqueness and attractiveness of its technology. Apart from having aesthetic value, batik also contains deep philosophical meaning. One way to maintain the value of batik is from the quality of the material, the way it is made, and also from how we represent batik through service. The aim of this research is to find out whether Batik Product Quality and Service Quality have significant results on Tourist Satisfaction in Kampung Batik Giriloyo Yogyakarta. This research uses the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method, distributing a questionnaire with 27 statements to 100 respondents to analyze tourist satisfaction with Batik Product Quality and Service Quality in Giriloyo Yogyakarta Batik Village with the results reaching a good level of satisfaction. However, there are several aspects which needs to be repaired and evaluated by the management and employees of Kampung Batik Giriloyo Yogyakarta.ABSTRAK Batik sebagai warisan seni budaya Indonesia yang bernilai tinggi, merupakan suatu aset yang perlu dijaga keberlanjutannya. Keberadaan batik telah terdokumentasi sejak zaman dahulu dan kini mengalami perkembangan sesuai dengan perubahan zaman. Batik bukan hanya merupakan karya seni, melainkan juga hasil sintesis antara teknologi dan seni itu sendiri, terlihat dari ragam motif dan warna yang digunakan. Proses pembuatan batik mencerminkan keunikan dan daya tarik teknologinya. Selain memiliki nilai estetika, batik juga mengandung makna filosofis yang mendalam. Salah satu cara untuk mempertahankan nilai batik adalah dari kualitas bahan, cara pembuatan, dan juga dari bagaimana kita merepresentasikan suatu batik melalui pelayanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah Kualitas Produk Batik dan Kualitas Layanan memiliki hasil yang signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Wisatawan di Kampung Batik Giriloyo Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), penyebaran kuesioner dengan 27 pernyataan kepada 100 responden untuk menganalisis kepuasan wisatawan terhadap Kualitas Produk Batik Dan Kualitas Layanan di Kampung Batik Giriloyo Yogyakarta dengan hasil disarankan untuk segera meningkatkan kinerja atribut Daya Tarik Wisata yang berada dalam kuadran I, Atribut yang berada pada kuadran II perlu dipertahankan agar tetap menjadi kekuatan utama Kampung Batik Giriloyo. Sementara itu, atribut pada kuadran III perlu diperbaiki untuk meningkatkan daya tarik dan kepuasan wisatawan, sedangkan atribut pada kuadran IV perlu diidentifikasi dan dikurangi kinerjanya agar tidak menjadi hambatan bagi kepuasan wisatawan.
