Perawat merupakan bagian penting dalam menentukan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit, sehingga tuntutan peran semakin besar kepada perawat untuk mampu berkinerja secara profesional bahkan pada kondisi kurangnya faktor penunjang sekalipun bagi mereka untuk bekerja secara optimal yang pada akhirnya mereka mengalami burnout. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) hubungan antara beban kerja dengan burnout pada perawat pelaksana di ruang rawat inap RSU Bahteramas Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara; (2) perbedaan beban kerja perawat berdasarkan ruangan/kelas perawatan; (3) perbedaan burnout perawat pelaksana berdasarkan ruangan/kelas perawatan. Penelitian ini bersifat analitik observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional study. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 74 perawat pelaksana wanita yang bekerja ≥ 2 tahun di ruang rawat inap. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, observasi, dan wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan analisis spearman, dan analisis kruskal wallis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara beban kerja (r= 0,415, p= <0,001) dengan burnout. Hasil analisis Kruskal Wallis menunjukan ada perbedaan beban kerja perawat berdasarkan ruangan/kelas perawatan (p=0,037), dan ada perbedaan burnout perawat pelaksana berdasarkan ruangan/kelas perawatan (p=<0,001), dan ruangan kelas III memiliki nilai beban kerja dan burnout yang paling tinggi dibandingkan ruangan lain. Abstract Nurses are an important part in determining the quality of health care in the hospital, so it demands greater role for nurses to be able to perform in a professional manner even though the condition of the lack of supporting factors for them to work optimally in the end they are experiencing burnout. This study aims to determine (1) the relationship between workload with burnout in nurses in the inpatient unit RSU Bahteramas Southeast Sulawesi Province; (2) differences in the workload of nurses based on wards/care classes; (3) differences in burnout nurses based on wards/care classes. This research is an analytical observational cross sectional study. Samples taken as many as 74 nurses working women ≥ 2 years in the inpatient unit. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. Data collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Data were analyzed with Spearman analysis, and the Kruskal-Wallis analysis. The results showed a significant positive relationship between workload (r = 0.415, p = <0.001) with burnout. Kruskal-Wallis analysis results showed there is difference in the workload of nurses based on wards/care classes (p = 0.037), and there is differences in burnout nurses based on wards/care classes (p = <0.001), and ward class III has a value of workload and burnout high compared to most other room.
