Abstract

A healthy lifestyle is an effort that someone does consistently to stay in a healthy and optimal condition. Healthy lifestyle is done by paying attention to the nutritional needs in the body, exercise, rest and positive thinking. Healthy lifestyle is not uncommon as an effort that is not easy so it is difficult to implement, even though it will be even more difficult if we have become sick because they do not run a healthy lifestyle. The Orphanage Orphanage and Dhuafa Foundation Al ‘Ashr Banjarmasin is one of the orphanages in the city of Banjarmasin. Imbalance between food consumed with needs is the cause of malnutrition problems and over nutrition problems, so that children in this orphanage also have the risk of under nutrition problems and more due to lack of knowledge about a healthy diet. Therefore This community service activity will be held for children and adolescents of the Orphanage Orphanage and Dhuafa Foundation Al 'Ashr Banjarmasin in order to prevent nutritional problems due to inappropriate dietary patterns. The purpose of the activity is to provide knowledge for children and young people of the Orphanage Orphanage and Dhuafa Foundation Al ‘Ashr Banjarmasin on a healthy diet for the body's needs to create a healthy young generation. The main targets or specific targets of this activity are children and young people of the Orphanage Orphanage and Dhuafa Foundation Al ‘Ashr Banjarmasin which is located at Jalan Tembus Perumnas Rt 45 No. 127 Banjarmasin City. The method used in this activity is through video screenings, lectures, and discussions and questions and answers. The counseling activity was carried out on December 8, 2019, attended by 18 orphans. Activities take place smoothly and in an orderly manner. Increased knowledge about healthy diets in adolescents at the Orphanage Orphanage and the Al r Ashr Foundation Dhuafa, Increased skills in carrying out body examinations conducted independently such as measuring waist circumference, heart rate tests, oral health, nails etc

Abstract

Dentures have many functions, of course all of these things are to improve the degree of health, but there are many factors that cause people to refuse to use dentures. In the district. Juai still has very few health workers (dentists) so that people are more directing themselves to dental artisans who are identical to dentures. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinants of public perceptions of denture function. This study used an analytic survey method with a cross sectional approach. The sample here is accidental sampling, namely the people in the working area of Puskesmas Juai. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire / interview sheet containing a list of questions about denture function and a questionnaire regarding public perceptions. The data were then processed and analyzed using the chi square statistical test to test the research hypothesis. The results showed that there was no relationship between denture function variables and other variables such as attention, interest, experience & memory, uniqueness & contrast of dentures. The chance of respondents knowing the function of dentures is 4 times higher for respondents with high attention category, 3 times higher for respondents with interest category, 3 times higher for respondents with remembering category & 1.5 times higher for respondents with unique category. It is advisable to provide information about the benefits, stages of manufacture & other denture functions. As a learning medium, denture information should be improved from both electronic media and family support, especially related health workers such as dentists, dental nurses & dental technicians to maximize their knowledge on the function of dentures in health promotion such as outreach to the public & making electronic media

Abstract

Sarapan adalah menu makanan pertama yang di konsumsi seseorang. Tanpa sarapan seseorang akan mengalami hipoglikemia atau kadar glukosa dibawah normal. Hipoglikemia mengakibatkan tubuh gemetaran, pusing dan sakit berkonsentrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebiasaan sarapan sebagai determinan prestasi belajar siswa SMPN Sederajat di Kecamatan Juai Kabupaten Balangan. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Yang menjadi sampel penelitian yaitu semua siswa terdiri dari laki-laki dan perempuan yang terdapat pada sekolah MTs Nurul Falah di Kecamatan Juai Kabupaten Balangan. Instrumen yang digunakam dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa lembar pertanyaan (kuesioner) & wawancara yang berisi daftar pertanyaan tentang kebiasaan sarapan sebagai determinan prestasi belajar siswa. Data kemudian diolah dan dianalisis dengan uji statistika Chi Square untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ada hubungan antara kebiasaan sarapan dengan perstasi belajar. Diharapkan adanya peningkatan informasi tentang pola hidup sehat baik kepada instansi pendidikan maupun orangtua siswa.
