Abstract

Berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi merupakan ciri dari kemajuan zaman atau peradaban, yang diimplementasikan dalam pembangunan dan penciptaan sebuah benda. Salah satu bahan utama dalam penciptaan suatu benda yakni besi atau logam yang tingkat penggunaannya semakin meningkat. Dari pemnaafatan besi atau logam yang cukup tinggi, maka muncul permasalahan baru dengan lahirnya limbah besi yang akan berdampak pada keberlanjutan lingkungan hidup. Maka dari itu, perlu adanya penanganan khusus untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, yakni dengan mendaur ulang limbah besi yang dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi bahan pembuatan karya seni kriya dalam bentuk patung dengan objek harimau. Pada penelitian ini, penulis melakukan analisis pada hasil karya patung harimau berbahan limbah besi untuk memberikan sejumlah informasi yang dapat dijadikan role model pengembangan karyakarya patung lainnya. Adapun hasil anasilis patung mengenai sketsa karya, bentuk visual karya, analisis konseptual karya dan analisis visual estetis karya. Ide gagasan pembuatan karya patung tersebut diciptakan dengan menggunakan teknik assembling atau perakitan dengan berbantuan alat las listrik sebagai perekatnya. Adapun pengembangan konsep pembuatan karya patung ini diawali dengan pengamatan ojek harimau dari berbagai jenis gambar, pembuatan sketsa awal, pencarian bahan limbah besi, persiapan alat, proses perakitan dan proses finishing. Karya patung ini memberikan gambaran pemodelan pemanfaatan limbah besi yang dapat memberikan hasil karya seni yang menarik.

Abstract

Just like other sectors in society, The COVID-19 pandemic also affects the sports sector, especially athletes. Toward the provincial sports week of West Java, futsal athletes from various sub-districts in Tasikmalaya City carried out joint training activities. However, several problems were detected in these joint training activities, including short duration of training each day due to PPKM (public activity restrictions) regulations, decreased motivation of athletes for post-quarantine training and social restrictions, decreased frequency of physical activity and fitness levels, and the lack of athletes' performance during the training. Responding to these problems, the National Sports Committee of Indonesia (KONI) of Tasikmalaya City had a courtesy visit to UPI Tasikmalaya Campus. Both parties agreed to organize training activities with a practical and motivational approach, through the application of self-management techniques rooted in behavioral therapy. This training activity aims at helping athletes to manage physical activity schedules to improve their fitness and performance. The training activities were carried out for 48 hours online and offline. A series of training activities could be carried out properly and resulted in outputs in the form of (1) a paper presented in a scientific forum; (2) Publication of a scientific article in community service journals with ISSN; (3) publication in mass media; (4) other science and technology outputs; and (5) Innovation Products in the form of guidelines for the implementation of training activities.

Abstract

Motivation is one of the research variables that is widely studied in various scientific fields, including physical education and sports. However, at the elementary school level, there is still no motivational instrument in physical education that has good validity and reliability. This study aims to determine the validity and reliability of elementary students' learning motivation instruments in physical education. The research method uses descriptive research methods with a quantitative approach. The population used grade 4, 5, and 6 elementary school students in three different elementary schools in one sub-district in Indramayu district as many as 134 students with a sample of 50 taken using incidental sampling. The data collection technique used a learning motivation questionnaire. The data analysis technique used Cronbach's Alpha. The results of the study concluded that the elementary students' learning motivation instrument in physical education had very good reliability. In order to conduct further research with more complex analytical techniques in data analysis.Key words: validity, reliability, motivation, physical education
