Abstract

Variable speed drives and the importance of controlling the speed of existing motors have attracted much attention with the advent of new electrical devices and magnetic materials. This paper is a comprehensive review of the application of VFD in energy saving electric motors. The aim is to identify energy saving opportunities and apply variable speed drives to existing electric motor applications. In this paper the authors hope to provide useful information for future variable speed drive applications such as fans, pumps, coolers, ventilators and as electric car propulsion. In this study, a series of frequency changes has been tested as an induction motor speed regulation (VFD), which in the results of this frequency change research can regulate the speed of the induction motor. In this study, the frequency change is still regulated analogously by changing the resistor size on the PWM signal generator IC for the MOSFET driver. For that the next research is expected to change the frequency can be done digitally

Abstract

Terdapat banyak masalah yang terkait dengan pengelolaan budidaya ikan di Desa Lopak Alai. Kurangnya program pembinaan budidaya ikan yang efisen dan efektif pada kelompok budidaya perikanan. Terkait efisiensi pemberian pakan ikan, hanya mengandalkan pakan dari luar ( pabrikan) sehingga harga pakan cenderung naik sehingga mengakibatkan harga produksi ikan menjadi naik. Selain itu manajemen tata kelola kolam yang belum tertata rapi. Oleh karena harga pokok produksi naik namun tidak diikuti oleh harga penawaran di pasar yang cenderung turun sehingga kelompok perikanan cenderung mengalami kerugian karena hasil perikanannya hanya dijual saja dan tidak diolah lagi menjadi produk yang mempunyai nilai ekonomis tinggi. Solusi pengabdian ini diberikannya penambahan pakan ikan melalui cahaya penarik serangga yang didapat dari pembangkit Listrik Pico Hydro, Di dalam pengabdian ini juga diberikan mengenai pengelolaan manajemen kolam perikanan agar menjadi lebih baik dan membantu digitalisasi pemasaran produk olahan ikan tersebut.

Abstract

Photovoltaic (PV) is an environmentally friendly renewable energy source. When Photovoltaics are connected directly to a load, the power delivered to the load is not optimal power. Therefore, it is important to get maximum power from the PV system thereby increasing efficiency. Various maximum power point tracking (MPPT) techniques of PV systems are proposed, such as Perturb and Observe (P&O) algorithm. MPPT techniques are usually limited to uniform weather conditions. This research presents an MPPT system with a series of DC-DC Boost converters under conditions of changes in solar irradiation, each change is assumed to last 5 hours and a temperature of around 250C, while the amount of solar irradiation is 300 W/m2, 500 W/m2, 700 W/m2 and 1000 W/m2. From the results of research carried out with the help of MATLAB simulations, it was found that the average efficiency was 95.6% and obtained low oscillation MPP tracking as well as fast and dynamic response during stable weather conditions.
