<![CDATA[This study examines the social implications of the existence of the animal feed industry in the Tompo community in Barru Regency. What are the social implications of the livestock feed industry in Tompo Village, Barru Regency? The type of research used is qualitative descriptive. Research location in Tompo Village, Barru Regency. The informant was determined by purposive sampling, namely by taking data with certain considerations. Research instruments are observation sheets, data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. The technique of analyzing data is through various stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion conclusions, while data validity techniques use source triagulation, technique, time triagulation, and triagulation between researchers. The results of the research in the field show that the social implications of the existence of the industry get a good response from the local community because it provides a change. The impact of the existence of animal feed industry influences the existence of changes that occur in the community both from positive and negative things. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang implikasi sosial keberadaan industri pakan ternak pada masyarakat Tompo Kabupaten Barru Bagaimana implikasi sosial masyarakat terhadap keberadaan industri pakan ternak di Desa Tompo Kabupaten Barru, Mengetahui implikasi sosial keberadaan industri pakan ternak pada masyarakat Desa Tompo Kabupaten Barru. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di Desa Tompo Kabupaten Barru. Informan di tentukan secara purposive sampling yaitu dengan pengambilan data dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Intrumen penelitian yaitu lembar observasi, Teknik pengumpulan data, wawancara dan dokumntasi. Teknik analisis data melalui berbagai tahapan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, penalirikan kesimpulan, sedangkan teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triagulasi sumber, teknik, triagulasi waktu, dan triagulasi antar peneliti. Hasil penelitian di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa implikasi sosial keberadaan industri mendapatkan respon yang baik oleh masyarakat setempat karena memberikan suatu perubahan. Dampak adanya indutri pakan ternak berpengaruh dari adanya perubahan yang terjadi di masyarakat baik dari hal positif dan negatif.]]>
