Abstract

When a person has been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, he will experience changes in his life such as changes in behavior, social change, and psychological changes. These changes can be a mental pressure or psychological stressors for people with HIV/AIDS. Conditions like this, people with HIV / AIDS need a lot of support, one of which is the support of spirituality. Spirituality and praying aspects may not be separated from human life, either in health or unhealthy/ill condition. Closely, it is correlated with treatment process for patient with HIV/AIDS. The aim of research is to discovering spirituality and praying experience to patient with HIV/AIDS with the approach of the Calista Roy Nursing Theory. This research design is qualitative with phenomenology approach. Four participantshad participated in this research by telling his/her related with spirituality and praying experience. Data collection conducted using of indeepth interview and using aid tool of interview guide, field research/notes, and document study. The data analyze using both Collaizi (1978) and software of QSR Nvivo. This research result reveals seven (7) themes those are: (1) sorrow process of HIV/AIDS patient; (2) family support to HIV/AIDS patient; (3) HIV/AIDS value against sufferer; (4) method of approaching God (5) essence of praying for HIV/AIDS sufferer; (6) life wishing/acceptance, and (7) nursery service wish. This research recommend for further research related with gender variance, increasing of service quality of nursery holistically and spiritual aspect more specifically as well as to grow caring attitude to implement nursery to patient.

Abstract

Efforts to ensure patient safety during drug administration are to prevent drug administration errors. The characteristics of the nurse and the five right principles are factors that can ensure patient safety in the hospital. The Ministry of Health stated that there should not be an error in drug administration (0%), which is a very difficult application in the field. One Hospital in West Java has set a rate of <5% per month as the tolerable limit for drug administration errors. The reality in the field is that the average incidence of drug administration errors is still high compared to the set standards, namely 8.2% per month from January to June 2018. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between nurses’ factors and the true incident of injection drug preparation by nurses at one Hospital in West Java. A total of 22 nurses were involved in this study, grouped into nurse 1 who prepared the medication and nurse 2 who applied the Independent Double Check /IDC. Each nurse recorded the results of the five principles of correct injection drug preparation in separate records independently. The results showed that the observed agreement value (Po) and the expected agreement value (Pe) regarding the principle of five steps were very good (> 0.960) but the kappa value among nurses 1 and 2 were in the moderate category (<0.50). In addition, this study revealed that the clinical competence of the nurse 1 was related to the correct injection drug (p = 0.005), their work experience was related to the correct route of drug injection (p = 0.017). It is showed that the drug injection was influenced by the characteristics of nurse 1, especially by the clinical competence (p = 0.046). This study recommends that it is needed of further in-depth analysis of the factors that influence the correctness of drug administration. BAHASA INDONESIA Upaya dalam menjamin keselamatan pasien selama pemberian obat-obatan adalah dengan mencegah terjadinya kesalahan pemberian obat. Karakteristik perawat dan prinsip lima benar merupakan faktor yang bisa menjamin keselamatan pasien di rumah sakit. Kementerian Kesehatan menyatakan bahwa tidak boleh ada kejadian kesalahan pemberian obat (0%), dimana angka tersebut sangat sulit untuk diterapkan di lapangan. Satu rumah sakit di Jawa Barat telah menetapkan angka < 5% per bulan sebagai batas kesalahan pemberian obat yang bisa ditoleransi. Kenyataan dilapangan bahwa rata-rata kejadian kesalahan pemberian obat masih tinggi dibanding standar yang ditetapkan yaitu 8,2% per bulan dari Januari sampai Juni 2018. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan antara faktor perawat dan kejadian kebenaran penyiapan obat injeksi oleh perawat di rawat inap satu rumah sakit di Jawa Barat. Sebanyak 22 perawat terlibat dalam penelitian ini, dikelompokkan menjadi perawat satu yang menyiapkan obat dan perawat dua yang melakukan Independent Double Check/IDC. Setiap perawat mencatat hasil prinsip lima benar penyiapan obat injeksi dalam catatan yang terpisah secara independen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai kesepakatan teramati dan nilai kesepakatan harapan prinsip lima benar sangat baik (>0,960) namun nilai kappa antara perawat satu dan dua dalam kategori sedang (<0,50). Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi klinik perawat satu berhubungan dengan benar obat injeksi (p=0,005), pengalaman kerja perawat satu berhubungan dengan benar rute obat injeksi (p=0,017). Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa benar obat injeksi dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik perawat satu terutama oleh kompetensi kliniknya (p=0,046). Penelitian ini merekomendasikan analisis lebih mendalam tentang faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kebenaran pemberianobat.

Abstract

Introduction. Clinical nurses are competent with good knowledge, skills and attitudes. These efforts are carried out through integrated training adaptation of the concept of Patricia Benner's From Novice to Expert . The study aims to determine the effect of nursing training on increasing knowledge, skills and attitudes. Methods. This research is a quantitative research with a quasy experiment design, using a non-randomized control group pretest and posttest design. The research sample amounted to 100 people, divided into two groups, namely the intervention and control groups with the same number. The study was conducted for 12 weeks. Results. The results of bivariate analysis with a mean score of posttest 97.20, increased 21.6%, knowledge was statistically significant with p = 0.000. the posttest skills average score was 92.96, increased by 23.92%, the skills were statistically significant with p = 0.000 and posttest 50.06 attitude average, increased by 6.44%, statistically significant with p = 0.000, there was the influence of nursing training on increasing clinical nurses' knowledge, skills and attitudes . The results of the multivariate analysis of nursing training were statistically significant for the increase in clinical nurses' knowledge (p = 0.000), having the possibility of knowledge increasing 10 times, increasing skills statistically meaningful (p = 0.000), having the possibility of skills increasing by 1.4 times and statistically significant attitudes (p = 0.000), has the possibility of an increase in attitude 0.8 times compared to not getting training, no confounding variables are affected. Conclusion. Knowledge, skills and attitudes are influenced by nursing training from material aspects, methods, facilities, instructors and post-training evaluation methods. Thus to achieve the optimal quality of knowledge, skills and attitudes, it is recommended to provide assistance, supervision, assistance and guidance in an integrated manner.

Abstract

Introduction. Burnout is a symptom that is often experienced by nurses, especially in the operating room, intensive unit and emergency room. Burnout is characterized by fatigue of heavy workloads, lack of control and appreciation, unfair treatment as employees, lack of social support at work, and conflict of value values that cause Emotional Exhausting, Depersonalization, Personal Accreditation. Coaching implementation by mentors to the implementing nurses is expected to reduce burnout. Methods. This study aims to analyze the description of the differences and influence of coaching implementation by mentor to the executor nurse burnout at Siloam Hospitals Group. Research uses quantitative methods with quasi experimental designs, pretest-posttest control group and causal research. The sample in the study was chosen by consecutve sampling in all respondents included in the inclusion criteria. The sample in this study amounted to 117 nurses, who were divided into 2 groups ie inetrvensi group with 88 respondents and control group with 29 respondents. Coaching implementation is given within 12 weeks with the frequency of meetings 3-4 times. Results. The results of this study showed that there was a decrease in burnout before and after intervention with paired t test in the intervention group and control group, with value (p = 0.002). Conclusion. The results of the intervention analysis on the implementation of coaching training simultaneously have an effect on motivation, workplace, age, gender, education and work experience simultaneously with a contribution of F 3,316 with a significance number of 0.005 <0.05. This study recommends the need for further research.

Abstract

Tujuan ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi inovasi digital terhadap kinerja perusahaan dilihat dari perspektif pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan PT. Indonesia Power UPJP Kamojang. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif dan bersifat kausal. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 147 orang karyawan PT. Indonesia Power UPJP Kamojang, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yakni simple random sampling. Analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis Stuctural Equation Model (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi digital dan kinerja perusahaan dikategorikan baik. Hasil pengujian statistik diperoleh terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan inovasi digital terhadap kinerja perusahaan dilihat dari perspektif keuangan, perspektif konsumen, perspektif proses bisnis internal dan perspektif pertumbuhan dan pembelajaran PT. Indonesia Power UPJP Kamojang. Disarankan agar perusahaan perlu meningkatkan kualitas sistem ERP dengan cara melengkapi fitur, meningkatkan standar sistem, melakukan perawatan sistem, memperbaiki tampilan sistem ERP, meningkatkan proses bisnis internal dan pertumbuhan dan pembelajaran.

Abstract

The study was conducted from March until June 2021. The number of nurses involved were: 39 first nurses and 33 second nurses. The research data were analysed using SPSS program version 25. The implementation of IDC on 5895 injected medication affected right time (p=0.000) and right documentation (p=0.041) in preparation of medication. IDC has a partial or simultaneous effect with the characteristics of the first nurse on the right dose and right time in preparation of drugs (p = 0.000). IDC also affects the right dose, right time and right documentation in administration of injected medication (p<0.05). The characteristics of the first nurse's education had a partial effect on right documentation in preparation and administration of drugs, and right time in administration of injected medication (p<0.05). Nurses' work experience also had a partial effect on right documentation in administration of injected medication (p= 0.001). IDC implementation reduces ME < 5%.

Abstract

Nurses have an obligation to make documentation of the nursing care actions they do in the form of SOAP. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of increasing knowledge and motivation of nurses on the completeness of SOAP documentation during handovers at Hospital X Bogor Regency with a quantitative pre-experimental one group pretest and posttest research design. The sample of this study amounted to 53 people according to the inclusion criteria. The intervention carried out was training on SOAP documentation. The data collection tool is a questionnaire. Data analysis using SPSS with Wilcoxon test and che square test. The result of this research is the description of the characteristics of nurses with the largest percentage aged >35 years 50.9%, D3 nursing education 84.9%, and working period >5 years 62.3%. a description of the knowledge level of 84.9%, good motivation of 86.8%, an overview of the completeness of SOAP documentation after training of 45.2%. The results of the analysis of differences in nurses' knowledge about SOAP documentation, P value of 0.000 means that there is a significant difference between the level of knowledge and the completeness of filling out SOAP documentation during handover before and after training. The results of the analysis of the effect of increasing knowledge on increasing the completeness of SOAP documentation. P value > 0.05, which means that there is no significant effect of increasing knowledge on the completeness of SOAP documentation during handover. Suggestions need to supervise and assist in filling the completeness of SOAP documentation continuously and evaluate the incompleteness of SOAP documentation.

Abstract

Objectives: To explore the effect of supervision and coaching by the head of the ward on nurses' performance. Methods: This study used a literature review method that involved surveying various sources such as journals, books, documentation, internet, and literature relevant to the object of research. PICOT framework was used to search for international online journals with the keywords “Supervision, Coaching, Nurse Performance. Results: The findings reveal that supervision and coaching provided by head nurses or nurse management significantly impact their performance. Research outcomes from various sources indicate that supervision, whether in the form of peer group supervision, clinical supervision, PRIMA, or ESA-C, demonstrate improvements in knowledge, attitudes, skills, and the evaluation of nursing care. Meanwhile, coaching, especially within training programs, has proven to assist in identifying individual and team needs, enhancing competence, and improving nurse performance by providing guidance, reflection, and necessary emotional support. Conclusion: Head nurse supervision and coaching play pivotal roles in enhancing nurse performance across various hospital contexts. When effectively implemented by leaders, these factors can elevate the quality of healthcare services provided by nurses in hospital settings.
