Abstract

In Islam, learning is compulsory. Then in the learning process, Islam provides guidance. It is intended that learning impacts and makes learners nobel. Among the guidelines are patience, commitment, and consistency based on worship. Then the impact of that is sincerity (enjoying learning). For teachers continuous learning is a necessity. Certainly getting a method that is detailed and guaranteed will make it a trustworthy person in educating results-oriented and life benefits (quality). This research was conducted to see how the performance of teachers through the practice of Islamic religious values, whether realized or not. The research method uses a qualitative approach using the interview method and the closed answer scale. The object of this research is a state junior high school in South Tangerang City. The sampling technique uses judgment sampling. The results of the study suggest that the teacher feels emotionally bound by the spiritual which is always practiced to be a good teacher (quality)

Abstract

Technological developments affect the way of learning in educational institutions. One of them is e-learning which has begun to be implemented in several higher education institutions. This study discusses the use of technology to improve reflective learning. This study uses quasi-experimental methods to measure reflective learning behavior between students who maximize camera features on smartphones when conducting e-learning and students who don't maximize camera features on smartphones when conducting e-learning. The subjects of the research contain ten classes studying statistics course. The experimental class consisted of 5 classes. The control class consists of 5 classes. Specifically, the teaching material in statistics courses used in the research is the size of the concentration of data and the size of data distribution. Results of the study aimed that the effectiveness of e-learning by using a smartphone camera is better than e-learning without using a smartphone camera. Students with high academic ability are able to show better reflective learning, both on self-reflective and peer-reflective. Students who use smartphone camera when conducting e-learning are able to understand teaching material. Students are able to review their answers, both self-answers or peer-answers, when giving comments on e-learning discussion forums. In addition, these students can enhance their focus on concepts and information provided during mobile learning.

Abstract

 Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat Indonesia adalah pendidikan.Permasalahan  ini sangat dirasakan pada masyarakat yang memiliki keterbatasan, baik keterbatasan pada bidang ekonomi karena kemiskinan keluarga yang berakibat pada ketidakmampuan memenuhi kebutuhan finasial yang dibutuhan oleh pendidikan  maupun keterbatasan akses sarana pendidikan formal akibat tempat tinggal yang jauh dari pusat kota. Wilayah pedesaan dan pinggiran kota merupakan wilayah yang minim terhadap akses pendidikan, khususnya pendidikan menengah. Dampaknya, tidak sedikit masyarakat di kedua wilayah ini tidak mendapatkan akses pendidikan formal. Untuk memenuhi sebagian kecil kebutuhan ini, staf pengajar Universitas Pamulang mengangkat tema pelaksanaan Cooperative Learning Techniques sebagai metode pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris dan Matematika di Yayasan Al-Kamilah, Kecamatan Bojongsari, Kota Depok yang mayoritasnya menerima pendidikan agama. Cooperative Learning Techniques digunakan sebagai metode pengajaran dan pembelajaran karena metode ini menerapkan kerjasama antar peserta didik yang diharapkan dapat memaksimalkan daya serap pada proses pembelajarannya. Dengan metode ini peserta didik juga merasakan kebersamaan dan dapat berbagi solusi dalam memecahkan soal-soal yang diberikan pengajar. Metode ini menjadi metode alternatif yang menawarkan kemudahan peserta didik dalam menyerap materi pelajaran. Kata kunci: Cooperative Learning Techniques, Bahasa Inggris, Matematika Dasar
