Abstract

This study aimed is  to analyze both simultaneously and partially the effect of the variable quality of human resources consisting of; technical skill, mental attitude, work discipline, work motivation, as well as between the four variables which are the dominant influence on the performance weaving ikad craftsmen small industries. Sampling technique use the census method. The number of respondents who were 52 of weaving craftsmen small industries in Lamongan.  Instrument tests using  validity and reliability test. Method of data analysis is a classic assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity, heteroskedastitas test), multiple regression analysis and hypothetical test (F test and t test) with significance level 5%. The test results shows either simultaneously or pasial, indicates that the variable quality of human resources consisting of technical skill, mental attitude, work discipline, work motivation, significant effect on performance. Meanwhile, the technical skill is the dominant variable affecting to the performance of weaving craftsmen small industries in Lamongan.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analize the impact of the Quality of Work Life (QWL) to the Employee Productivity of Technical Leather Industry Unit Service in Magetan simustaneously either partial and also recognize that the Extencive Training is the dominant variable. The research population are 41 people, all the employees of Technical Leather Industry Unit Service in Magetan, and used multiple regression method to test hypotheses. Base on the research, the QWL that consist of; job security, selective hiring, self management team, equitable compensation, extensive training, reduced differences in status, and sharing information simultaneously have impact to the employee productivity (F) value 11,5206. So, With partial QWL to the employee productivity with (t) value; job security 4,4070, selective hiring 3,1928, self management team 6,4529, equitable compensation 4,1858, extensive training 7,1086, reduced differences in status 5,0497, and  sharing information 4,0763, and the extencive training is the dominant variable to the employee productivity

Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the simultaneous and partial effect of Executed Learning Process consist of; Instructor Competency, Curriculum, Library Facility, Learning Media, Laboratory, Training Scheduling, Administration Service, and Program Evaluation on Satisfaction of Training Participants Technical Extension Industrial and  Trade on Industrial Training Office Region V Surabaya. The sample of this study consist of 139 Functional Extension Staffs, the training participants in the period of 2003 – 2007. The study uses population research method (Arikunto:1998). Data Estimated is using Multiple Linear Regression Model.The empirical result of study by simultaneous F-test shows that Instructor Competency, Curriculum, Library Facility, Learning Media, Laboratory, Training Scheduling, Administration Service, and Program Evaluation influence on satisfaction of Technical Training Participants on Industrial Training Office Region V Surabaya. The result by partial t-test shows that Instructor Competency, Learning Media not influence satisfaction, but another factors such as; Curriculum, Library Facility, Laboratory, Training Scheduling, Administration Service, and Program Evaluation influence on Satisfaction of Training Participants Technical Extension Industrial and Trade on Industrial Training Office Region V Surabaya .

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze and find empirical evidence of the affects of the government establishment policy, including; tecnical training support, government regulation support, capitalization support, marketing support, industrial and trade technical guidance supported for business performance and industrial structure unit development.The most significant findings is the influence of the business performance on the business structure 0,8037. It is the highest coefficient value among the others. It proves that government is successful in arranging and managing its establishment by training support, government rules, capitalization, marketing, and industrial and trade technical guidance support as stated in Regulation No. 9, 1995 on the Small and Medium Enterprise Affair by increasing business structure from micro industry to small industry. Besides the main finding above, there are other research findings; the positive significance of the government rules on the business performance and  business structure that do not support Vasant Desai Theory (2003), and the positive significance of the effects of the industrial and trade guidance on the business performance and doesn’t  support Mulyadi research (1999).

Abstract

This study examines the impact of interaction human factors with computer used by Local Area Network (LAN) at Regional Office Surabaya Industrial and Trade Training Service. The object of study are employees which worked by LAN Service office and used primary datas non probability sampling with analysis factor throught SPSS 10,0 windows program.The corelation matrix result shows of variable population; Barlets test of Sphericity (BTS) 0,000 proved, and Kayser Meyer Oklin (KMO) 0,671 > 0,50 means sample strength enough. By rotation from 35 variables become 22 variables with cumulative percentation 64,67. Tools is the dominant factor impact of human computer interaction by Local Area Network (LAN). The contribution of variable 10,187%, with eigen values 3,573 consist of; tools by loading variable 0,813, language with loading variable 0,745 and on line by 0,661 variable loading.

Abstract

The research aims are to analyze and test the influence of creativity and trade exhibition toward extended innovation and market performance of  small industry of wood furniture cluster in Madiun region. Population are 103 entrepreneurs of wood furniture. Research method uses complete enumeration. Main instrument used in data collection relates to questionnaire through structure 5-points of Likert Scale. Data analysis used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to ensure the causality between previous variable involved validity, reliability test and confirmatory factor analysis. The test requires criterion.The results of research indicate that creativity and trade exhibition significantly influence the extended innovation and innovation significantly influence the market performance, furthermore, both creativity and trade exhibition significantly influence the market performance of small Industry of wood furniture cluster in Madiun.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of innovation ability, work discipline, leadership supervision on the performance of Clushter Blacksmith employees in Blitar Regency. This research type is explanatory research with quantitative method. The population is permanent employees of Clushter Blacksmith, totaling 50 people with a complete enumeration sampling technique. Using a questionnaire to collect primary data related to innovation ability, work discipline, leadership supervision and employee performance. Data processing using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with SPSS (Statissical Package for the Social Science) application. The results showed that innovation ability had a significant positive effect on the performance of the Blacksmithemployees performance in Blitar Regency. The higher the employee's innovation ability, the higher the employee's performance through the use of technology and information to develop, produce and market new products for the industry. Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Blacksmithemployees performance in Blitar Regency. The higher the employee's work discipline will have a good impact on employee performance. Supervision of the leadership has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Blacksmithemployees performance in Blitar Regency. Supervision of the leadership is carried out to evaluate each employee's performance on a regular basis and provide input so that the performance of the employees develops.

Abstract

occupational health and safety on work motivation of small and medium-sized footwear industrial Clushter in Mojokerto. The research model with developing hypotheses is derived based on the literature. To provide empirical evidence, this study conducted a survey and data collection using a questionnaire list, and saturated sampling of 35 employees of small and medium-sized footwear industrial Clushter in the city of Mojokerto. The results showed that training had a negative and significant effect on Employee Motivation at Small and Medium Footwear Industry Clushter in Mojokerto City. This indicates that the implementation of the training is not in accordance with the needs of the training participants. This condition shows that employee work motivation has actually decreased after the implementation of the training. The implementation of training should be an effort to provide information for employees, skills and an explanation of the goals to be achieved by the company so that employees will be motivated to work more efficiently and effectively. Wage patterns have a positive and significant effect on the Work Motivation of the Employees of the SMEs Footwear Clushter in Mojokerto. Occupational Health and Safety has a negative and significant effect on Employee Work Motivation at Small and Medium Footwear Industry Clushter in Mojokerto City The availability of work facilities both in quantity and quality without optimal utilization and a high understanding of work procedures will not increase employee motivation, instead it will reduce work motivationtions.

Abstract

This paper aims to explain the effect of counseling patterns, incentives and leadership styles on the performance of the brown sugar micro-small industry Clushter in Blitar Regency. The results of the preliminary research show that the problems at this Clushter are the low performance of employees, the pattern of counseling given by the technical coach tends to be generalized, and the provision of incentives is less transparent. There has been no integration between leadership styles and individual abilities of employees which include talents, interests, and personality, skills of employees so that they have not been able to improve employee performance. The research model with hypothesis development was derived based on the literature. To provide empirical evidence, this study conducted a survey, primary data was collected using a list of questionnaires, and saturated sampling of 33 employees. The results showed that the pattern of counseling, incentives and leadership styles had a direct positive and significant effect on employee performance. The implication of the research is to examine the perceptions of 33 employees at the Clushter for Micro Small Brown Sugar Industry in Blitar Regency. The analytical technique used is multiple linear regression. This paper contributes to the theory of organizational behavior by explaining the effect of counseling patterns, incentives and leadership styles on employee performance.

Abstract

Makalah ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan Pengaruh Disiplin Kerja, Komunikasi Interpersonal, Keterampilan Teknis Terhadap Motivasi Berprestasi Karyawan Sentra Industri Mikro Kecil Makanan Olahan Di Kabupaten Trenggalek. Hasil penelitian pendahuluan menunjukkan bahwa Permasalahan pada Sentra ini adalah belum optimalnya disiplin kerja, komunikasi interpersonal yang belum berjalan dengan lancar, keterampilan teknis yang belum optimal. Model penelitian dengan pengembangan hipotesis diturunkan berdasarkan pada literatur. Untuk memberikan bukti empiris, penelitian ini melakukan survey, data primer dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan daftar kuisioner, dan sampling jenuh terhadap 60 orang karyawan, teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Regresi linera berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Disiplin Kerja, Komunikasi Interpersonal, Keterampilan Teknis secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Motivasi Berprestasi Karyawan Sentra Industri Mikro Kecil Makanan Olahan Di Kabupaten Trenggalek. Implikasi penelitian menguji persepsi 60 orang karyawan. Makalah ini berkontribusi pada teori perilaku organisasi dengan menjelaskan pengaruh Pengaruh Disiplin Kerja, Komunikasi Interpersonal, Keterampilan Teknis Terhadap Motivasi Berprestasi Karyawan Sentra Industri Mikro Kecil Makanan Olahan Di Kabupaten Trenggalek
