Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dilakukan selama 5 (lima)bulan pada Kelurahan Bukit Kemiling Permai dengan kelompok sasaran atau mitra adalah ibu-ibupengajian Majelis Taklim Ikhlas Al-Azhar. Permasalahan yang terjadi di lokasi PKM adalah masihrendahnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat, tentang teknologi budidaya sayuran dan ikandengan aquaponic di lahan sempit untuk ketahanan pangan. Latar Belakang dari kegiatan ini adalahadanya teknologi aquaponic yang sederhana yang dapat diaplikasikan oleh masyarakat untukmencukupi kebutuhan pangan keluarga di lahan yang sempit dan sulit air. Tujuan dari kegiatan inipertama, meningkatkan pemberdayaan kemandirian, pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggotakelompok dalam budidaya sayuran dan ikan dengan aquaponic secara mandiri. Kedua, meningkatkankinerja, wawasan, pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam penggunaan teknologi yang lebih moderndalam budidaya sayuran dan ikan dengan Aquaponic. Ketiga, meningkatkan keahlian dalamkemajuan teknologi terkini pada budidaya sayuran dan ikan serta membuat media promosi untukpemasaran hasil keterampilan tersebut. Keempat meningkatkan kesejahteraan mitra dari kegiatanbudidaya sayuran dan ikan dengan aquaponic di lahan sempit. Solusi terhadap permasalahan yangterjadi dilapangan adalah bagaimana cara meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentangaquaponic, yang terdiri dari kegiatan persiapan sarana prasarana, pemberian penyuluhan teori danbimbingan teknis mengenai teknologi budidaya aquaponic pada lahan sempit serta pemasaran hasilsecara online dengan mengoptimalkan marketplace yang telah tersedia pada salah satu media sosial.Bimbingan teknologi dan monitoring dilakukan setiap bulan untuk mengetahui perkembangan produksidan penerapan teknologi yang dilakukan oleh mitra, luaran yang diperoleh dengan adanya program iniadanya peningkatan pemberdayaan kemandirian, pengetahuan dan keterampilan untukkesejahteraan mitra melalui budidaya sayuran dan ikan dengan aquaponic.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article aims to identify the pattern of the grain/rice marketing system from the farmer-producing level to the milling producer and the activities carried out by the actors involved. Data collection was carried out in the rice production center area in Pringsewu Regency, namely Gadingrejo District because it has the largest rice area in Pringsewu Regency. Data were collected using survey methods (field observations) and interviews with producer farmers and actors involved in the grain/rice trade chain system in Pringsewu Regency. Respondents are rice farmers in Pekon Parerejo totaling 67 farmers, rice milling producers (huller) as many as 4 industries, and 2 collectors traders who are in the research location. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the pattern of the grain/rice trade system in Pringsewu Regency has a flow structure from the Pekon Parerejo production center, Gading Rejo District to several rice milling industries in Pringsewu Regency. There are two patterns, namely the first channel, farmers sell grain to traders and then to wholesalers, grain traders are collected and distributed on a large scale to hullers (mills). From the huller, the grain undergoes processing including drying, milling, grading and rice. The packaged and labeled rice is then distributed to wholesalers. Abstract

Food additives application in food processing should be a conscious matter by either producers or consumers due to food additives excessive and misuses that will give negative impact on human well-being. Farmer Women Group (FWG) Harapan Jaya Rajabasa is one of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) engaged in beverage processing, especially soy milk and herbal ginger drinks. These product marketing was still limited to local area, nevertheless consumer demands and auction for both products were quite effective for family additional income and support family food security. Food additives awareness to the member of Harapan Jaya FWG in food processing become an important factor in production process sustainability not only to improve the product selling but also  as an assurance in food safety for their own family members that consumed the product. The method used is counseling and demonstration followed by evaluation. The activity was attended by 22 FWG members. The activity was preceded by brain storming the FWG members awareness on food additives application in food products. Most of the KWT members (more than 84%) have not notice for the regulation, type of food additives, dosage and how to applied food additives in food product. The evaluation results showed that FWG’s member awareness and good practice in food additives regulation, type and dosage, and method to applied had increased.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah mengenalkan konsep luas dan keliling bangun datar yang terdapat pada aktivitas permainan tradisional engklek. Kegiatan disusun dalam bentuk aktivitas permainan. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap diantara, tahap pendahuluan, persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak baru menyadari koneksi dari konsep bangun datar pada permainan engklek, bangun yang digunakan sebagai petak dalam permainan engklek yang terdiri dari bangun persegi, persegi panjang dan setengah lingkaran. Selain itu, anak-anak menunjukkan respon positif berupa antusiasme dalam melakukan aktivitas permainan serta perhitungan luas dan keliling dari petak engklek yang dimainkan.

Abstract

The development of technology has created the development of innovation in learning. In the middle of the development of learners get in touch with the mobile device and Internet technology becomes a new trend that enables mobile learning, or better known as mobile learning (m-learning). Lampung State Polytechnic is a university that focuses every effort on developing the quality of education. Currently Lampung State Polytechnic has not yet taken advantage of e-learning. E-Learning can be optimized by combining m-learning to e-learning, where there is an alternative learning process to be done with computers or mobile devices or combined with conventional learning system.
