Abstract

The problem with many alternative decisions in the areas of management and administration commonly referred to as multi-attribute decision problems. For example, the decision problem with many variables so that the target decision can not always be determined easily. Well-known method of approach, to overcome this kind of problem is called the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). AHP technique is given by arranging alternative levels of decision, so as to provide a structured quantitative description. Application of multi-attribute types ofproblems such as problems in the selection of software, car, project proposal, the university, the best employees, and so forth. In this paper, the approach developed using the AHP in software selection project management.

Abstract

In the operating process of electrical energy, economic planning is the main goal to be achieved. The goal of economic dispatch problem is determining the combination of optimal power distribution to a number of operating generator units so that the electricity demand in a certain area is fulfilled without ignoring the constraints that exist, so it is obtained a minimum total generation cost. Optimization method that is used is the Gaussian Particle Swarm Optimization (GPSO), while for the validation of the results, the obtained solution with the GPSO will be compared with the solution obtained by mathematical methods Extended Lagrange Multiplier (ELM) or the Lagrange multiplier method which its functions are expanded. The solution that is calculated is generation output in Megawatt of 23 thermal generating units system in Mahakam, East Kalimantan, which had a total cost of optimal generating (minimum).

Abstract

Perkembangan pasar yang semakin pesat membuat perusahaan harus mampu bersaing secara global dengan tetap mempertahankan performance. Pemilihan supplier merupakan hal penting untuk menunjang performance perusahaan, karena pemilihan supplier yang tidak tepat dapat menyebabkan kerugian bagi perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang program aplikasi berbasis web untuk menentukan bobot subkriteria dengan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) dan memilih supplier terbaik dengan metode Technique Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) serta menghitung alokasi pesanan untuk masing-masing supplier dengan metode Fuzzy Multi Objective Linear Programming (FMOLP). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada toko Jaya Cibodas Toy’s dengan mengambil objek produk mobil remote control. Metode AHP menghasilkan bobot subkriteria kualitas produk 0.193, cacat produk 0.173, harga produk 0.131, biaya 0.100, payment term 0.096, ketepatan waktu 0.100, ketepatan jumlah 0.066, response 0.044, fleksibel 0.030, after sale service 0.025, lead time 0.019, reputasi supplier 0.014, demand 0.010, sedangkan untuk merangking supplier digunakan TOPSIS dan menghitung alokasi kuota digunakan FMOLP dengan hasil Winner Toys 45%, Sumatera Toys 25,6%, Bintang Toys 22,9%, Lestari Toys 6.5%, dan Green Toys 0%

Abstract

On electric power system operation, economic planning problem is one variable to take into account due to operational cost efficiency. Economic Dispatch problem of electric power generation is discussed in this study to manage the output division on several units based on the the required load demand, with minimum operating cost yet is able to satisfy equality and inequality constraint of all units and system. In this study the Economic Dispatch problem which has non linear cost function is solved using swarm intelligent method is Gaussian Particle Swarm Optimization (GPSO) and Lagrange Multiplier. GPSO is a population-based stochastic algorithms which their moving is inspired by swarm intelligent and probabilities theories. To analize its accuracy, the Economic Dispatch solution by GPSO method is compared with Lagrange Multiplier method. From the test result it is proved that GPSO method gives economic planning calculation better than Lagrange Multiplier does.
