Abstract

Bencana menimbulkan kerusakan fungsi masyarakat, materi, ekonomi, serta lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui intervensi yang tepat diberikan kepada individu untuk mengatasi masalah psikologis terutama kelompok yang paling terdampak bencana. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic literature review pada artikel di jurnal peer-reviewed pada 10 tahun terakhir. 4 database digunakan meliputi PubMed, Scopus, ProQuest, dan Science Direct. Proses screening menggunakan PRISMA guidelines dan menghasilkan 12 artikel sebagai sumber utama. Penilaian kualitas artikel dilakukan dengan menggunakan Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Critical Appraisal Tools. Berdasar hasil telaah kritis pada 12 artikel didapatkan hasil yang baik pada seluruh artikel. Hasil review menunjukkan terdapat 2 tipe intervensi yang efektif yaitu pendekatan intervensi berbasis individu dan pendekatan berbasis kelompok, Adapun intervensi psikososial yang dapat digunakan meliputi the skills for life adjustment and resilience (SOLAR), hope intervention, mental health and/or psychosocial support (MHPSS), psychosocial capacity building (PCB), counseling and psychosocial support maneuvers in natural disasters (MOHEB) dan cognitive-behavioural therapy for post-disaster stress (CBT-PD). Beberapa teknik intervensi berbasis psikososial ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat nyata bagi masyarakat baik sebelum maupun setelah terdampak bencana

Abstract

Natural disasters occur all over the world and have massive effects. The impact of natural disasters has prompted various studies to find out the effects of a better mitigation and preparedness phase on individuals and communities in reducing the number of victims. Although revious literature are available that discuss disaster preparedness, studies that specifically assess the effectiveness of community-based disaster preparedness training are not available yet. This study aimed to identify effectiveness of community-based disaster preparedness training and which communication media are effective for use in disaster management in society. The literature reviews were conducted using the PRISMA model. The articles were collected from 4 journal databases, including EBSCO, Science Direct, Scopus dan ProQuest. Quality of each articles were assessed by Crowe Critical Appraisal Tool (CCAT). We identified a total of 3 studies. From the data extraction, 4 types of interventions were obtained in increasing disaster preparedness including phone-based intervention, printed media intervention, peer-mentored preparedness (PM-Prep) program and small group discussion intervention. The effectiveness of community-based disaster preparedness training is evidence that is needed to be applied in various countries due to the high prevalence of natural disasters worldwide.
