Abstract

AbstrakKonflik akibat benturan kepentingan merupakan keniscayaan dalam hidup, khususnya dalam kehidupan berpolitik. Konflik politik muncul akibat perbedaan pendapat, persaingan, dan pertentangan antara sejumlah individu, kelompok, atau organisasi yang melibatkan penyelenggara negara. Tulisan ini berusaha mengungkap pola penyelesaian konflik politik yang dilakukan oleh Daulah Rustamiyyah yang notabene beraliran Khawarij Ibadiyyah yang moderat. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan sejarah, Penulis menemukan bahwa kebijakan politik Rustamiyyah yang berkaitan dengan penyelesaian konflik politik di dalam pemerintahannya lebih didasarkan pada doktrin Ibadiyyah yang mengutamakan sikap moderat. Sejumlah konflik politik berhasil dituntaskan oleh Rustamiyyah dengan meminimalkan tindakan kekerasan. Dalam rangka penyelesaian konflik, penguasa Rustamiyyah mengawalinya dengan langkah persuasif berupa peringatan hingga ancaman. Kemudian, bila perlu, ia melibatkan pihak ketiga sebagai penengah konflik. Bila langkah-langkah itu semua tidak berhasil, barulah ia mengambil sikap tegas terutama terhadap pihak-pihak yang membahayakan stabilitas umum. Selain daripada itu, pemerintah sering berinisiatif untuk memanfaatkan diplomasi pada saat konflik bersenjata sedang berlangsung. Dengan menerapkan kebijakan demikian, perdamaian dan stabilitas pemerintahan Rustamiyyah dapat terus dipertahankanKata Kunci: Daulah Rustamiyyah; Khawarij Ibadiyyah; Kebijakan Politik Moderat AbstractMODERATE POLICY OF DAULAH RUSTAMIYYAH IN RESOLVING POLITICAL CONFLICTS. Disputes due to conflict of interest are unavoidable phenomena particularly in political life. Political conflicts arise due to differences of opinion, competition, and conflicts between a number of individuals, groups, or organizations involving state officials. This paper seeks to uncover the pattern of political conflict resolution carried by Daula Rustamiyyah which incidentally belonged to Khawarij Ibadiyyah moderate wing. By using the historical approach, the author finds out that the political policy of Rustamiyyah to resolve political conflicts within the government were based on Ibadiyyah doctrines that promote moderation. A number of political conflicts were successfully resolved by Rustamiyyah with a minimum violence. To solve political conflicts, the Rulers of Rustamiyyah began with persuasive step, from admonition to threat. Then, if necessary, it involves a third party as a mediator. If the measures were all unsuccessful, they took a firm stance, especially against those who endanger public stability. In addition, the government often took the initiative to utilize diplomacy during the ongoing armed conflict. By implementing such policies, peace and stability can be maintained by the Rustamiyyah government.Keywords: Rustamiyyah Dinasty; Khawarij Ibadiyyah; Moderat Political Policy.

Abstract

Historical review shows us that Syajarat al-Durr was a phenomenal figurein the Mamluk dynasty. She was a slave who become a leader. Howeverher political leadership arose a clash and strife among the Muslims. Thosewho agreed to accept her government thought that Syajarat al-Durr wasthe proper one who could prove her ability to manage the government,but those who refused her believed that the community that is governedby a woman will be unsuccessful forever because the messenger (pbuh)has said that in his saying. There were two political policies performed bySyajarat al-Durr, i.e. expelling the crusaders from Egypt and strengtheningthe public support to the government of Syajarat al-Durr.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan data dokumen (literatur) dan wawan­cara yang berkenaan dengan kebijakan pemerintah, Kepercayaan terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa (terutama HPK Ponorogo), dan gambaran umum tentang Ponorogo yang menjadi lokasi penelitian. Kepercayaan terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa mempunyai beberapa karakteristik, yakni berupaya melakukan pendekatan kepada Tuhan, bersifat akomodatif terhadap anasir dari kebudayaan spiritual lain, dan mengutamakan prinsip kerukunan. Eksistensinya di Indonesia tidak dapat dilepaskan dari peranan Mr. Wongsonegoro yang mengusulkan pencantuman kepercayaan dalam batang tubuh Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 pasal 29 pada tahun 1945. Secara umum, kebijakan pemerintah menekankan legalitas formal eksistensi Kepercayaan terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa di Indonesia. Di antara kebijakan pemerintah era reformasi. Di antaranya ialah UU no: 39 tahun 1999 tentang Hak Asasi Manusia, UU no: 12 tahun 2005 tentang Pengesahan Kovenan Internasional tentang Hak-Hak Sipil dan Politik, UU no: 23 tahun 2006 tentang Administrasi Kependudukan, Peraturan Pemerintah no: 37 tahun 2007 tentang Pelaksanaan UU no: 23 tahun 2006, Peraturan Presiden no: 25 tahun 2008 tentang Persyaratan dan Tata Cara Pendaftaran Penduduk dan Pencatatan Sipil, serta Peraturan Bersama Menteri Dalam Negeri dan Menteri Kebudayaan Pariwisata no: 43/4 1 tahun 2009 tentang Pedoman Pelayanan kepada Penghayat Kepercayaan terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Kebijakan yang memberi­kan perlindungan hukum kepada para penghayat Kepercayaan itu berdam­pak signifikan dalam perkembangan HPK di Ponorogo. Hal itu terlihat dari pertambahan jumlah warga penghayat kepercayaan dalam HPK Ponorogo sejak pembentukannya tanggal 1 Oktober 2008 sampai sekarang. Selain itu, jumlah penghayat Kepercayaan yang tidak mengisi kolom agama di dokumen kependudukan juga semakin bertambah.Kata Kunci: kebijakan, Kepercayaan terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, HPK Ponorogo

Abstract

Similar to any theological sect, the Kharijite has split into many smaller groups. Usually all these groups were characterized as extreme factions who used violence in the pursuit of their purposes. However, the factual evidence proved that there was Ibadite which was considered as the most moderate group. The Ibadites tend to avoid  extreme behaviour. Due to their moderation, they successively ascended to power. The example of their remarkable achievement was the Rustamid Dynasty in Maghreb from 160-296H (776-909AD). As far as the research is concerned, unfortunately, there is no comprehensive records on the Rustamid accomplishment. The Rustamids reigned their plural society with different backgrounds in ethnicity, nationality, and religion. By doing so, the Rustamids could generate harmonious life in the entire territory under their government. Besides, the Rustamids have achieved an extraordinary civilization. The Rustamid tolerance was based on their ideology. The moderate Ibadite doctrine inspired the Rustamids to become tolerant to their various people. Actually, Indonesians with their diversity could also achieve high civilization such as what the Rustamid has achieved in terms of religious tolerance.

Abstract

According to Islamic theology, al-Maturidi is one of the three prominent Muslim theologians of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamaah who are called aqtab madhhab Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jama‘ah (the leaders of Sunnite school of thought). In addition to his reputation as a theologian, al-Maturidi actually was competent in various Islamic sciences. In Quranic exegesis, he has Ta’wilat Ahl al-Sunnah or Ta’wilat al-Qur’an. Unfortunately, this fact isnt known well by Islamic researchers. This article is going to elucidate the features of his work that encompass at least seven characteristics. Al-Maturidi prefers to combine the naqli (traditional) and ‘aqli (rational) sources. Consequently, it can be identified as tafsir bi’l-izdiwaj or the exegesis that amalgamates tafsir bi’l-ma’thur (traditional exegesis) with tafsir bi’l-ra’y (rational exegesis). He is not an interpreter who uses excessive grammatical analysis to interpret the Quranic verses. He sometimes presents many styles of qira’ah (recitation of the Quran) without thorough explanation. He almost never uses Isra’iliyyat (the Judeo-Christian traditions and tales) to interpret the Quranic verses. He favors tawassut (nonaligned and independent standpoint) when he deals with different viewpoints among theologians. He tends to follow the Hanafite school of thought in discussing the jurisprudential Quranic verses. He applies asbab al-nuzul (the causes of revelation) loosely.

Abstract

Abstract: A long time ago Muslim people used to achieve their golden ages for many centuries. The glory of civilization was accomplished in every aspect of life. That achievement was obtained because the leaders of Muslim society at that time were very responsible for their people and religion. They optimally created a large number of good environments and encouraged their people to do intellectual activities. Muslim people did not only gain their golden ages but also gave a significant contribution to the West so that the western people could carry out their renaissance and move themselves from the dark ages. Their awakening was attained well after they were successful to transfer knowledge from Muslim world to the west through intensive translation activities duringIslamic government in Spain and Sicillia, as well as the crusades periode. Therefore,the Muslim people must revitalize their serious ijtihad activities continually to regain their intellectual supremacy and lead the world civilization again.

Therefore, the Muslim people must revitalize their serious ijtihad activities continually to regain their intellectual supremacy and lead the world civilization again. وصلت الأمة الإسلامية – في امتداد تاريخها الطويلة – إلى العصر الذهبي في مجالات الحياة. وحصلوا على العزة لأن ولاة الأمور حين ذاك مئتمنون ووعوا بالمسئولية. واهتم الولاة بأمور الأمة ومشاكلها وبدينهم. وكوّن هؤلاء الولاة جوّا مناسبا للأنشطة العلمية، بل أسهم المسلمون كبيرا للغرب حتى قدروا على "الإعادة " والخروج عن التأخر. حصل الغرب على نهضتها بعد نقل المعارف من المسلمين عن طريق الترجمة, في عهد الخلافة في إسبانيا وسيسيليا أو كذلك في معركة الصليب. ولإعادة هذا العصر الذهبي في العلوم وأستاذية العالم، على المسلمين إعادة روح الإجتهاد في جميع نواحي الحياة جدّيّا متواصلا.

Abstract

Abstract. Purwowijoyo or Sukatman Purwosuwito (11 April 1914 - March 20, 1994) idealism is to provide the greatest profit for civil through historiography of the local history of Ponorogo and his idealism was written in Babad Ponorogo. Theoretically, history method had been conducted in his historiography.  Futhermore, Babad Ponorogo comprises 8 volumes. In Babad Ponorogo, it told about various patriotic events in Ponorogo society gaining imperialism for instance Raden Martopuro in 1853 and Kampak Patik in 1885). Then to commemorate that events, public services was developed by Bathoro Katong government. It was complicated reasons in fighting Dutch because of the political situation of foreign imperialism adverse social and economic. Ponorogo goverment had priority in determining the development. On the other hand, its government was enforced by colonial.  All regulations were assigned by invaders. And after Independence Day, Central Goverment instructs all Ponorogo programs in developing their region.
