Abstract

Sudden death or commonly known as sudden cardiac death is defined as an unexpected death or death process that is too fast. About 93% of sudden deaths are caused by arrhythmias, meaning that deaths occur due to heart rhythm disturbances that cause blood circulation failure. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge of nurses about arrhythmias and attitudes of nurses in handling arrhythmias in the CVCU and IGD rooms at Dr. Adnaan WD Payakumbuh. This study uses a descriptive correlation method with a cross sectional approach.. The sample in this study was 34 respondents. The results of the statistical test of univariate analysis showed that the respondents had good knowledge (61.8%) and had a positive attitude (61.8%). The results of the bivariate test showed that there was a relationship between nurses' knowledge about arrhythmias and nurses' attitudes in handling arrhythmias p value = 0.000 (p 0.05). It was concluded that there was a relationship between nurses' knowledge about arrhythmias and nurses' attitudes in handling arrhythmias in the CVCU and IGD rooms at Dr. Adnaan WD Payakumbuh. Therefore, hospitals can provide opportunities for nurses to continue their education and schedule training for nurses who have not attended training and those who have attended training are expected to attend counseling about arrhythmias once a month which aims to increase knowledge and attitude of nurses in the management of arrhythmias. Abstract

ABSTRACT Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that attacks the lungs caused by the bacteria Mycrobacterium Tuberculosis. Indonesia is the country with the second most TB patients in the world. Based on the data (Dinkes) of Bukittinggi City, it is obtained that in 2017 there were 71 pulmonary TB cases during the year in Bukittinggi City. While in 2018 cases of pulmonary TB increased to 90 people. From several statements of patients with pulmonary TB at Bukittinggi Public Health Center, it is known that respondents do not know how to prevent transmission to the family so there is no difference in eating utensils in the family. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge and Self Efficacy of Pulmonary TB patients with prevention of pulmonary TB transmission in the Work Area of ​​the Bukittinggi City Health Center. This research method uses descriptive analytic method with cross-sectional approach. The population was 39 patients who were diagnosed with pulmonary TB in the working area of ​​the Bukittinggi Puskesmas in total sampling. The results showed that most (82.1%) of respondents had sufficient knowledge, (53.8%) of respondents had high Self Efficacy, and (69.2%) of respondents had good TB prevention behaviors. The results of the bivariate analysis of the relationship of knowledge with the prevention of transmission p value = 0.002 and the relationship of Self Efficacy with the prevention of transmission p value = 0.035. In this study it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between Knowledge and Self Efficacy of Lung TB Patients with Prevention of Lung TB Transmission. Suggestions in this study can be used as input for public health centers in Bukittinggi to be more active in efforts to promote health about tuberculosis by conducting socialization on prevention of pulmonary TB transmission. Abstract

Mahasiswa seringkali mengalami stress dalam menyelesaikan tugas akhir. Stress yang dialami dapat menyebabkan kualitas tidur yang buruk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat stress dengan pola tidur mahasiswa keperawatan dalam menyusun skripsi di Universitas Perintis Indonesia tahun 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan desain cross sectional, dan teknik sampling adalah total sampling sebanyak 25 responden. Instrument yang digunakan adalah kuesioner Piitsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat stress dengan pola tidur mahasiswa keperawatan dalam menyusun skripsi (P-value >0,05). Sehingga diharapkan institusi pendidikan juga memperhatikan mekanisme koping atau pertahanan stress mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun skripsi dan untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat melakukan penelitian dengan instrument yang berbeda dan jumlah sampel yang lebih banyak lagi dan membandingkan penelitian yang dilakukan saat melakukan ibadah puasa dan hari biasa.

Abstract

Various efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 are still being carried out, including strict enforcement of health protocols, vaccinations, increasing knowledge about personal and environmental health as well as various other actions in breaking the chain of spreading the Covid-19 virus. Vaccination is very important in the formation of herd immunity, which aims to reduce the adverse effects of viral infections that occur. Children are also a group that is vulnerable to Covid 19. Elementary school is an educational setting that has the potential for Covid-19 transmission. SD Negeri 02 Campago Guguak Bulek Bukittinggi, as one of the elementary schools that has implemented face-to-face learning in class. This will certainly be a great opportunity for the spread of the covid 19 virus, if awareness of the importance of complying with health protocols, knowledge of vaccinations and knowledge of clean and healthy living behavior has not been realized properly. Given the importance of early knowledge about covid 19 vaccination, and health education regarding clean and healthy living behavior, the DIII Nursing Study Program, Perintis University also takes part in community service activities with the aim of providing early knowledge about covid 19 vaccination and creating awareness of health care. themselves and the environment, through the theme “Providing Early Education on Covid 19 Vaccination and Health Education on Clean and Healthy Behavior at State Elementary School 02 Campago Guguk Bulek Bukittinggi'. The methods in this activity are providing education through counseling, watching videos and demonstrations. The results of the service show the enthusiasm of students, this can be seen from the number of questions and responses by participants during the discussion of activities. From these results, it can be concluded that this educational activity can increase students' knowledge and awareness of the importance of COVID-19 vaccination as well as personal and environmental hygiene. Abstract

The low understanding of students in learning biology in cell communication materials. One way to overcome these problems is to apply a problem-based learning-oriented biology module. This study aims to determine the improvement of cognitive learning outcomes of nursing students through the application of problem-based learning oriented biology modules. This type of research is Classroom Action Research conducted 2 cycles. The study was conducted at STIKes Perintis Padang. The subjects of this study were 28 nursing students. The research instrument consisted of observation sheets, student cognitive learning test results, documentation and field notes. Data collection is done by formative tests. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis. The results showed that the application of problem based learning oriented biology modules could improve student cognitive learning outcomes with classical completeness from 79% to reach 89% and increase in cognitive learning outcomes into the medium category (N-gain 0.5). Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of problem-based learning-oriented biology modules can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of nursing students.

Abstract

Salah satu yang dapat mempengaruhi kesiapsiagaan individu adalah dengan adanya pengetahuan dan pengalaman bencana di masa lalu baik yang dialami secara langsung maupun secara tidak langsung. Pengalaman bencana yang pernah di alami pada masyarakat sebelumnya akan menjadi suatu pembelajaran agar masyarakat siap siaga dalam menghadapi ketika terjadi bencana gempa bumi dimasa yang akan datang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan pengalaman dengan kesiapsiagaan bencana gempa pada masyarakat Kuranji Tahun 2022. Metode penelitian: ini merupakan desain kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 79 responden dengan teknik stratified random sampling. Analisa yang digunakan menggunakan analisa univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji chi-square didapatkan hasil penelitian untuk hubungan pengetahuan dengan kesiapsiagaan dengan nilai p value = 0,00 (p<a) maka dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan pengetahuan dengan kesiapsiagaan bencana gempa pada Masyarakat, dan ada hubungan pengalaman dengan kesiapsiagaan bencana gempa pada Masyarakat dengan p value 0,04. Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah diharapkan pada masyarakat yang bekerja didaerah yang berdampak terhadap bencana gempa dapat menambah wawasan pengetahuan bagaimana upaya penanganan bencana dengan mengikuti seperti pelatihan mitigasi bencana gempa bumi.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menerapkan modul mikrobiologi berorientasi Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif mahasiswa keperawatan Universitas Perintis Indonesia dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Dasar Keperawatan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah yang timbul selama proses pembelajaran yaitu rendahnya pemahaman mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Dasar Keperawatan bahasan mikrobiologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif mahasiswa keperawatan dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Dasar Keperawatan. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari lembar observasi, tes hasil belajar mahasiswa, dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan tes formatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Sarjana Keperawatan Tingkat Satu yang berjumlah 45 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan modul mikrobiologi berorientasi Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif mahasiswa dengan ketuntasan klasikal dari 74% hingga mencapai 89% dan peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif masuk kategori sedang (N-gain 0,6). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut disimpulkan bahwa penerapan modul mikrobiologi berorientasi problem based learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif mahasiswa keperawatan.

Abstract

SD Negeri 20 Koto Tangah is one of the basic vehicles for the nation's children to acquire knowledge and is an educational unit that produces generations of national scholars. Indonesia, as an archipelagic country whose islands are flanked by 3 tectonic plates, is therefore prone to natural disasters. The problem that is often faced today is the frequent occurrence of unexpected natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, landslides and volcanic eruptions. The lack of knowledge, the absence of socialization or simulation in dealing with natural disasters, actually needs to get the main attention from various levels of society. Given the importance of early knowledge regarding disaster preparedness, the DIII Nursing Study Program as one of the study programs at the Faculty of Health, Perintis University also takes part in community service activities with the aim of providing early knowledge regarding disaster preparedness, through the theme "Providing Disaster Preparedness Education at 20 Koto Tangah Public Elementary School. The methods in this activity are providing education through counseling, watching video demonstrations and simulations. The results of the dedication show the great enthusiasm of students and the school community, seen from the earthquake simulation carried out by the school community, they succeeded in demonstrating good and correct evacuation actions, in accordance with the guidance and demonstrations that had been carried out. From these results it can be concluded that this educational activity can increase students' knowledge and awareness of the importance of early knowledge of disaster preparedness. Abstract

Providing education on Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS) based on ethnoscience aims to increase students' knowledge of the importance of self-awareness and the environment by instilling a healthy mindset, through existing local wisdom, relevant to the demands of the times so as to create a healthy, intelligent and cultured school community in facing the era of society 5.0. The lack of knowledge of PHBS in students can lead to various personal and environmental health problems. PHBS is basically all public health behavior carried out on personal awareness. Even though it has long been echoed by the government through the ministry of health, however, PHBS in schools now feels even more crucial considering that face-to-face learning activities have been carried out after the Covid 19 pandemic. They are expected to adopt a healthy lifestyle to create healthy schools and the environment around schools. That way, the teaching and learning process will run smoothly. This activity was carried out at SD Negeri 13 Kubu Gulai Bancah Bukittinggi in the form of counseling with the help of power points, discussions, watching videos and demonstrations of the 6 steps to washing hands properly and correctly. Through this ethnoscience-based PHBS education there was an increase in students' knowledge as evidenced by the great enthusiasm of students and the many questions asked regarding personal health problems and the environment around them. Most students are able to explain and practice how to live a healthy, intelligent and cultured life. Keywords: Education, Ethnoscience, PHBS
