Abstract

Meeting the food needs of the majority of Indonesia's population is still very dependent on rice. This raises problems for the Indonesian people because the amount of national rice availability is unable to cover the food needs of the population which is increasing, so that alternative substitute commodities such as Sweet Potatoes are needed. Sweet potato farmers in Village  of Panti, Sub-District of Panti, District of Jember have productivity that is difficult to increase with low prices. The purpose of this study is 1) To find out the level of income of sweet potato farming, and 2) To determine the level of efficiency of the use of farming costs. The results showed that the average total cost of sweet potato farming per hectare was IDR 22,052,029.49 with an average total farm income of IDR  63,444,198.78, so that the farm income reached IDR  41,392,169.29. Furthermore, the activity of sweet potato farming in the study location was efficient, which was marked by an R / C value of 2.15.

Abstract

Media  biakan maggot BSF merupakan cara maggot dibudidayakan ada dua macam media biakan yakni media biakan basah dan media biakan kering. Media biakan basah bisa didapatkan dari sayuran, sampah rumah tangga maupun buah yang sudah terjadi pembusukan, sedangkan media biakan kering ialah media yang berasal dari bekatul, kotoran ayam, serbuk kayu dan sebagainya. Dengan adanya media biakan ini produktivitas dapat optimal, namun dikarenakan  tidak semua dapat mengolah limbah sampah, dan juga kekurangannya bahan pakan, serta masyarakat yang belum banyak tau tentang maggot BSF ini, begitupun dengan pemerintah desa yang tidak ada respon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh terhadap pendapatan maggot BSF antara media basah dan media kering di UMKM Ahmad Hidayah Farm Metode penelitian menggunakan uji T dengan pemenuhan sampel secara accidental sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat diketahui bahwa (1) penerimaan yang didapatkan oleh UMKM Ahmad Hidayahh Farm memiliki nilai rata-rata hasil produksi sebesar 32,5 Kg/ produksi dengan rata-rata penghasilan sebesar Rp 260.000 / produksi. (2) Dengan hasil analisis dapat diketahui bahwa media kering berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan maggot BSF. Dengan sig. senilai  0,024 dimana lebih kecil dari 0,05. (3) Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat diketahui bahwa adanya sebuah perbedaan antara pendapatan variabel media basah dan juga media kering. Yang menunjukan bahwa pendapatan maggot BSF lebih dominan oleh media kering. Dikarenakan pada media basah ada sebuah kendala dari tidak adanya pasok bahan pangan juga terjadi kesalahan pada tahap fermentasi. Sedangkan media kering menjadi dominan karena adanya pasok dan tidak melalui fermentasi

Abstract

Abstract In 2020 Jember Regency is one of the regencies contributing the most coffee production in East Java with a total production of 236,899 tonnes. Out of a total of 31 sub-districts in the Jember Regency, 16 sub-districts do not produce coffee, while the remaining 15 sub-districts produce coffee with yields varying from 0.018 tons to 78.858 tons. Based on 2020 BPS data, the largest production was in the Silo District 78,858 tons. This study aims to determine: 1) the trend of coffee production in Jember Regency; 2) which areas in Jember Regency are coffee production bases; 3) is the distribution of coffee localized or specialized in coffee-producing areas in Jember Regency. The method used is descriptive and correlational with purposive sampling. The results of the study show that: 1) forecasting the development of coffee commodities in Jember Regency shows an increasing trend of coffee production in 2021-2024. The development of coffee commodity production in Jember Regency shows a positive value, meaning that coffee production tends to increase from year to year; 2) the sub-districts that are the basis for the coffee commodity in Jember Regency from a production point of view include the sub-districts of Arjasa, Bangsalsari, Jelbuk, Ledokombo, Panti, Patrang, Silo, Sukorambi, Sumberbaru, Sumberjambe, and Tanggul; (3) the distribution of coffee commodities in Jember Regency based on localization analysis shows that the coffee plantation business is not concentrated in one area, but spreads out in several areas of Jember Regency. Meanwhile, for the analysis of coffee commodity specialization in the Jember Regency, several sub-districts have specificities in an area. Keywords:       coffee; regional analysis; forecasting.
